Beautiful setting on the side of the New River. The smoked chicken and Barbeque were delicious. The outdoor seating on a beautiful deck overlooking the river made the meal complete. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful location on the river. There is in door and outdoor seating. They do allow dogs outside which is fabulous so if this bothers you and you see a dog...sit inside. Food was great also.

Awesome food, and gorgeous place to eat. Sits right on a beautiful river set next to stunning stately, old trees. I had the ribs and fries and they were DELICIOUS!! Service was up and beyond wonderful. They let us host a small birthday party and really helped to make sure we had anything we needed to make it extra special. Would also be amazing for family reunions or special events. They even have fun outdoor games. It transports you to a quieter time of enjoying awesome food, great friends, and stunning nature and river views. Will definitely be going back when we come back!

AWESOME experience! Great food and prices. Very scenic, quaint environment, especially if you sit outside. The Magician, "Doc", was the best magician that I've seen in person! WE WILL BE BACK SOON!!!

Wonderful view of the river our on the covered eating section. Great salad bar packed full of wonderful things to eat. I had the tips and didnt even have to use A1 it was very good. My daughter had the grilled cheese and it was huge. Everyone loved it and the breeze off the river felt amazing

Cool menu, great view, and a very interesting historical spot. The manager, Brian, came over and chatted with us during our visit and told us all about the history of this BBQ restaurant.

Great spot if you want good BBQ; I recommend checking out the beef brisket!

Sat by the Catawba River with a beautiful view. Great Atmosphere.
Upon our arrival we were greeted with a promptly with a smile, great service and friendly hostess. Our waitress was very couteous and efficient, explaining the food and beer and wine list very well, making our meal choices easier. Service and food were on point! I had the brisket and my companion had the fish. Everything was delicious, sides were all amazing. Appetizer of chips and spinach dip, GREAT! I give this place 5 starts. Will definately go again when I am in Morganton and highly recommend this resturant to all looking for a great experience in food and service.

Brisket was wonderful! We rode the motorcycle an hour and half to try this place and we were not disappointed. We will be back. Just might sit outside to get a better view of the river next time.

Love this place, food is always good and it's the perfect place to have a relaxing dinner by the river. Smoked chicken is the best!

Beautiful place, you can eat by the pond, friendly staff, and great food.

This place never disappoints. Great food and service, we always enjoy eating here. Judge's offers indoor and outdoor seating, and the view of the river while eating on their back deck is great (especially in the late evening). The food can be a little pricey, but I have never left hungry and always seem to need a doggy bag for my leftovers. The servers here have always been courteous and even though they are always busy helping other customers or folding silverware etc. they have never forgotten about us. Would definitely recommend and eat here again

Great ribs, barbecue and smoked chicken. Food was excellent, service was good and views were wonderful.

Never knew this place existed! You should definitely plan a trip here! Nestled on the water with plenty of outdoor seating. Extremely laid back atmosphere and you can wonder around by the river when you’re finished stuffing yourself full of of delicious Southern food. We opted for the buffet because you can’t go wrong with all-you-can-eat barbecue.

Great service. Friendly hostess and staff. Great salad bar. The buffet was excellent... Everything was excellent!!! The BBQ smelled great and looked great. We will be back for some BBQ. The place was packed at 12:20 on this SUNDAY and the food was the reason. Weather was perfect to eat outside by the river 68°F. A lovely experience and a perfect romantic date at any age!!!

This is our favorite place to stop to eat on our way home from visiting the NC high country. Top-notch bbq, and a gorgeous riverside setting.

Very good food. Great atmosphere. It can get quite crowded, affecting wait times, so you may want to check ahead of time. Really nice outside area, (other than in Winter.)
Good sized portions. Highly recommend.

Great experience! We reserved ahead of time for our family gathering of 24, traveling in from different states. Everything went smoothly! The waitresses handled our large party professionally and efficiently. Kind and courteous staff! Highly recommend!

Beautiful atmosphere and very pleasant service by all staff and wait persons, especially Amber, our server. So sweet & courteous and very attentive too.
Food was superb and the special River Chips are amazing. Would suggest a few more dipping choices for the chips such as a cheese dip or spicy mayo. Great place for a luncheon date.

Love this place! I especially like sitting on the outdoor deck over the river. We take our dog if the weather permits outdoor dining. I've never been disappointed with any menu selection. I really like their cheese stick appetizer & smoked chicken.
