BreakThrough Physical Therapy

I was referred for Pelvic Floor Therapy after surgery. Thankfully, it worked out that I ended up at BreakThrough out of all the facilities that I was given to contact. I had been living with my issues for 7 years and I had absolutely no confidence in therapy making any difference. I was convinced that I would need additional surgical procedures to get my issues under control. From the first visit Kayla assured me that my condition was not permanent and she was sure that she could make a difference! Three months later, I just graduated from PF therapy and I am elated that I can get on with my life with the confidence needed to perform everyday tasks and fully participate in activities that I enjoy. Kayla is amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone with similar issues! She has definitely changed my life for the better!

Really a great place for physical therapy. They look at your individual needs and each session is different to continually progress your body towards healing. They are very encouraging and want each person to move forward towards their healing goals. I am very impressed by them.

This place is fantastic!! Mrs Katie Knight is one of the best people and therapists you can find. I have had two babies in the past two years and she has helped me immensely!! Pelvic floor therapy is so important for women’s health at many different stages of life, trust me when I say you will not be disappointed if you seek Katie’s care. She is knowledgeable, genuine and makes you feel very comfortable discussing any issues you might be having. Also, the administrative staff is great- friendly and on top of all insurance questions or concerns. This place and the people are a true gem!!

Dr. Katie has been wonderful in handling my therapy after rotator cuff surgery. She is always on time, in a good mood, continually increasing the intensity of my therapy and insistent upon me following my doctor's rules! Two years ago, I received PT for weak ankles and now I am back with shoulder issues. It was like I had not been gone at all when I came in for my first appointment this year. At the very first visit, Kayla made a comprehensive assessment of my condition. She is very knowledgeable and experienced at her job. Working with her guidance and recommendations, my condition has greatly improved in just six weeks. In addition to Kayla's professional abilities, her friendly and positive attitude towards the people around her is remarkable. She is so personable, caring, and kind. Kayla always devoted the time to explain exercises and measures that would improve my wellness. She is truly invested in helping her patients achieve the best outcome for their condition. My experience with all of the staff at BreakThrough has been exceptionally positive. I have, and will continue to recommend Kayla and this clinic to my friends who have similar conditions such as mine.

I am an occupational therapist assistant and finding a knowledgeable therapist with vast experience can be difficult. Not here!! The entire staff is very knowledgeable and caring. They all know me and even if I’m not their patient they always look out for me and ask how i’m doing. All the staff are caring and they make a painful and sometimes hard process fun and better!!! I highly recommend Kerry! She is very well educated and very compassionate! I look forward to seeing her! All the staff in the morehead city office are truly amazing!!! I would highly recommend them to anyone being in the therapy field for many years I know a good team when i see them!!

I can't recommend BreakThrough enough! Their office is clean, well staffed, and they do a great job of communicating with patients and insurance. I am seeing Kayla who goes above and beyond at every appointment! She is attentive to my concerns and always explains everything so I feel comfortable and I have felt better with each appointment.

I have a condition that requires on going theraphy and dry needling treatment and I have found the right place. The professional and caring staff is absolutely amazing, always willing to bend over backwards to make my schedule work for me and I am forever great full for that. However what is above amazing is the knowledge and care provided by the Therapists. My life has changed for the better, all because I am not just a patient to get in and out but because I am a patient that is given whatever it takes.

I have been going to BreakThrough physical Therapy for 4 years now. I have benefited greatly by going there. I have a degenerative nerve disease and I need to maintain and strengthen what I have.. Kerry has helped me many times with pain that I cannot break the cycle on. I am vey blessed to be working with Tevin right now who is ver encouraging and kind. I am in a wheelchair most of the time andTevin has taken my goal seriously and is helping me relearn how to dance with my son at his wedding! BreakThrough is a great place they car. You feel like part of the family.

I’ve been working with Kerry since January to get mobility back in my shoulder and reduce pain after an injury. The exercises have been helping my mobility immensely & my shoulder is no longer in constant pain.

Bonus- she is a lovely person to spend time with!

Everyone is always so polite and so helpful. They really make sure you are comfortable. Kayla is awesome awesome awesome and always made sure to explain everything we were doing and why we were doing it. I highly recommend coming to this office.

So far everything at Break Through Physical Therapy has been great. I'm seeing improvements with prior issues I've been having for a long time in just a few weeks. I can't wait to see what more results and improvements happen in the coming weeks!

My time at Breakthrough Physical Therapy in Morehead City has been a very positive experience. The treatment and education was extremely beneficial. The staff in the front office and the physio group have been courteous, friendly and professional. I will recommend them to anyone.

The people here were very considerate and courteous. This was my first physical therapist and I'm glad I went with breakthrough physical therapy. Although my injury was minor (work related), I was treated with respect and appreciate the professional people there and would choose them again if I had the choice.

I walked in on crutches and walked out on my own. They do a wonderful at Break Through Physical Therapy. The staff really listened to me. What I was really impressed with was that they were constantly monitoring my therapy. I would recommend this great staff to anyone.

I was referred to Breakthrough for physical therapy for lower back pain. I could not stand straight and was having significant pain when I began treatments and exercise prescribed by Katie Knight , DPT . She was great and helped me tremendously. I am continuing the prescribed daily exercises, and am free of pain and off all meds.
