Could't ask for better Oceanfront location with direct access onto beach. Units are large with full kitchens, 2 bathrooms and outside bbq grills. Indoor pool, hot tub and game room too. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Wonderful small ocean front place with a family type atmosphere. Has a pool as well as a great beach. Gorgeous sunsets. Been going here for years. Love it.

It is all about the location! If you want direct beach access, this is the place for you. Become the owner of a condo type unit for a whole week every year for less than you can rent a room in a hotel. All rooms have a full kitchen making this a great family place.

Rooms was big. Kitchen fully functional. Great view to the beach. Easy access to the beach. The let your borrow chairs n umbrellas. Cleaning staff is very friendly. Grill n picnic area was clean. Great view of the beach with friendly people all around. The hot tub was hot n steamy. The pool was very relaxing.

Wow! What a tremendous value. This is really a great find for a budget vacation. Oceanfront, beautiful views. Comfortable accommodations. The building was clean and very well-maintained. The 2 bedroom unit had plenty of space for my family of 6. Indoor pool was a nice plus, especially since it was open late. Very family friendly atmosphere. Professional and courteous staff. Very close to the aquarium, but easy drive to other area attractions. We really had a wonderful stay and hope to come back again!

It's been a tradition in my life with Kayla! This year I couldn't really get away all week so I rented it to others. They paid the maintenance fee & are enjoying it. I will always love this place. Lots of good memories.
They are shortstaffed rn so a few things aren't done but as an owner, I don't mind doing a bit extra to keep my unit clean.

The Whaler Inn Beach Club has been our vacation spot for about 5 years now. The rates are great and the rooms are comfortable. But what keeps us coming back year after year is this view! You just can't beat it, as you can see from some of these photos from our balcony. Every unit has their own private balcony. The oceanfront units are either 2-bedroom or an efficiency. Even the Oceanview units have a wonderful view offering either an efficiency or a 1 bedroom unit. The sand is only steps from the the condo and never crowded. We have vacationed during the peak season as well as the off-peak season and have never found the beach to be crowded. You will find just about everything you need, from great restaurants and grocery stores; to fast food, gas, Dollar General, beach shops, gift shops and drug stores without ever leaving the island. Take a ferry to Shakleford Banks to see the wild horses or Cape Lookout National Seashore for some great shelling and fishing. If you're lucky, you might even catch the dolphins swimming right in front of the condo as you sit on your balcony! We hope to continue vacationing at the Whaler Inn Beach Club for many years to come.

We are repeat guests at the whaler inn. We love the condo rooms, we have a big family so we need the extra room. The pool is nice and I love the swings they have in the grassy area, my kids like to play in the sand and I can sit in the swing with the baby and watch them play. This is our new place to stay. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The grounds are also clean.

What can I say about this wonderful place?? ...except...I LOVE IT HERE!! The rooms are so nice and to be able to just walk a few feet out from the unit onto the beach is even more awesome! The staff are always so friendly and helpful. This will forever be one of my most favorite vacation spots. The memories will last forever.

Extremely nice staff. Had a great sray. The room were outstaning. Had a older vibe. It was up to date. Fully stocked room with a washer and dryer. I would highly recommend staying here. Especially if you are planning a trip to the aquarium which is right across the street. They even have fish cleaning station and an indoor pool and hot tub that was just painted and redone. Again... Highly recommend the whaler inn!

Been coming here since I was a little kid, great location and good amenities make it a great choice for a place to stay. It's beach front, and has a nice pool for when the weather isn't beach friendly, and is pretty close to numerous attractions.

I have been coming to the Whaler Inn for many years and it is absolutely one of my favorite places for vacation. I love the ocean view, the friendly staff, pool and jacuzzi. Everyone there aims to please. The units are beautifully decorated.Thank you for an amazing week. See ya next year.

Our linemen were looking for a place to stay during our restoration efforts and even though the place was "closed" they gave us rooms to stay! They were hit by the storm and some rooms were a little wet but a bed and ac over our heads instead of sleeping in the trucks. Next day our rooms were clean! It was nice to have washer and dryer in most of the rooms during our stay out clothes were starting to get pretty nasty from working and that made it all worth while. Btw the beach was awesome as well!!

If you want a clean, well furnished, quiet place to stay just literally steps to the beach, this place is for you. Not fancy but well maintained and has everything you need and you can’t beat the views. The staff is excellent and very friendly. I’ve been coming here for 20 years now and never been disappointed.

Great place to stay. It is an older building, but well maintained. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The beach was just steps from our door. Beautiful sunrises for great walks on the beach. The pool is great and there is a jacuzzi. Ii

We are owners and have 2 weeks every spring. You can't beat the ocean access and the surf fishing is good. We have a 2 bedroom unit for week 1 and a efficiency for week 2, both ocean front with great views. I love going to sleep listening to the ocean and look forward to the vacation every year. We have meet other owners that have the same weeks and it's having a vacation with good friends.

The Whaler Inn is located in Pine Knoll Shores , Atlantic Beach NC, just pasted the Aquarium. They have a few regular hotel rooms but most of the rooms have a full kitchen, two full bathrooms, 1 or 2 bedrooms, a dining area and a living room as well as a washer and dryer in each room. The prices are reasonable and they offer timeshare options. This is an ocean front hotel with a year round heated indoor pool and hot tub. They also have a small game room and grills, picnic tables, porch style swings, a fish cleaning station, and games and beach chairs available for use. This is the only place I want to stay, it is not extra fancy but it feels like a 2nd home to me when I go.

I am so happy to have a time share - the quarters are roomy and clean, with a complete kitchen and laundry facilities in the quarters. The manager, Sherry, and her staff could not be more hospitable or helpful. Rentals are available as well, and there are good off-season rates.

Motel and timeshare place, right on the ocean on a private beach. Our room had two queen beds, two bathrooms, a kitchen a full sized kitchen table, and a sofa and a love seat. one tv I'm the bedroom and one tv in the living room. You need to keep the room very cold to keep the humidity in the room low. There is a grassy area with adirondack chairs, outdoor charcoal grills, shower and foot rising station, and an outdoor sink to prepare fish.

View is gorgeous , rooms clean , office help, William very good getting TV setup and things done for repair .
