Seahawk Inn & Villas

Pros: friendly staff, WONDERFUL view, quiet and relaxing, good size room for two, clean room, outside area of hotel was clean.
Cons: AC did not work well but that was it!

We will be returning! Great value “blast from the past” stay that we enjoyed.

Great value for an oceanside room, everything was clean and our housekeeper, Michelle, was very helpful and accommodating. Front desk staff always had a smile and gave good recommendations for nearby activities. The view of the ocean from our 2nd story balcony and the ability to have our dogs with us made our vacation perfect.

The cottages are amazing. We usually rent them in the off-season but the beach and the staff are really beautiful and very friendly!

We stay at Seahawk whenever we have the opportunity. In February my son and his girlfriend renewed their engagement here and yesterday Seahawk and staff showed much love to our family as my son and his bride said I do on the beach here. The majority of our family checked in Thursday and our stay has been wonderful we will be back soon. Thank you guys for being so awesome.

*AWESOME* is my only description. I read many reviews that drone on about (lack of) ammenities and perhaps the rooms are a tad dated... SO WHAT? Everything is in good repair & clean; if the latest trend is important to you perhaps this is not your cup of tea. But if you value a quaint (affordable) Bogue banks experience, with genuinely friendly staff & MAGNIFICENT ocean view & access THIS is your destination friend. Im here to be *ON THE OCEAN* and ill take Sea Hawk's sea side hammocks over a damned microwave ANY DAY.
Value for money here, it's Sea Hawk for me every time (pet friendly too).

All staff I encountered during my stay was super friendly and helpful.
The view from our room was spectacular. Nothing like a cup of coffee while sitting on your balcony and hearing the waves and seeing the dolphins play and hunt and then at night watching the thunderstorm over the ocean.
Yes the rooms might not might be modern but they were clean, comfy beds and pillows, cold a/c and fridge and plenty of hot water and pet friendly. Did not have any issues with noise, the only only issue was when the pot smokers in the room next to us lit up, it permeated our room but once we would open our balcony door it would air out pretty quickly.

Nice variety of dishes and utensils and pans. Ocean front. Love having chairs & umbrellas out to use along with the hammocks & swing. They need to turn up the hot water and use more bleach on the towels.

We found out last minute we both could get off work for the week of the 4th. I started scouring the internet from Florida to Virginia looking for a place with availability. I happened to find the Seahawk and as luck had it they had our dates available and with reasonable prices for a holiday week! I normally spend weeks looking at reviews before making a reservation but I didn’t have time I had to book it! From the minute we arrived all the staff were super nice, and I’m pretty sure if I lived there I would become friends with our housekeeper. She was so nice and friendly! We do not have dogs but there were a lot of people staying there with them. It didn’t smell like dog and everyone made sure to clean up after them, from what I could see. The room was super clean, beds were very comfortable, the AC was great, and boy was it hott out! If you are looking for a newer hotel beach front this is not the place for you! But if you are looking for clean and comfortable this is the place to be! We spent most of our time either at the pool, the beach or on our balcony. We didn’t need fancy furniture to sit on inside. We loved that they provided umbrellas and chairs, and became known as umbrella stalkers by the middle of the week, peering out to see if they were being set up, lol. We can’t wait to return!!

We stayed at the East Villa. Beautiful view - steps to the sand and ocean - plenty of rooms - clean - all nessessities - tv in all rooms - would have liked a radio but TV had two great music channels! Front desk courtesy very friendly and took the time to remember your names. Housekeeping ladies were awesome!! Checked everyday twice a day to make sure we had everything we needed or wanted. I just live across the bridge but needed to get away and relax. So I may be planning to do this mini vacation at the Villa once a year with family and friends🙂

This was our first stay here. We brought our two dogs and our 7 month old. We rented one of the rooms for the weekend. We had a great stay! Yes the place is dated and the rooms are quite small but it worked fine for our family. We were not looking for anything fancy. This place is simple but has everything you need for a short stay. Jaye was running the desk and every run in I had with her was great!! She is so kind and always has a smile on her face. Makes you feel welcome and wanted. The hammock was my boyfriends favorite spot. This place is pet friendly right on the beach and has a pool! We felt so safe here with our dogs and baby. Couldn't ask for more. We are already planning our next stay.

My first stay at Seahawk was June of 2014. I booked a room for the weekend for my Momma and me and our three fur babies. It was at the end of my Mom's chemo and the beginning of radiation. It was a beautiful, wonderful weekend that I have always cherished. I've stayed several times since and I've enjoyed each time. Recently, I planned a special weekend with two special friends who are going through physical difficulties at this time. I had several conversations with Kim and she assisted me with every detail. Unfortunately, due to illness we were unable to have that weekend but the caring, character, and humanity demonstrated throughout the vacation I had planned hopefully will one day be carried out. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this wonderful place of beach, sand and sky and its wonderful representatives. If you stay there, you will love it!

We had a great time. Grounds and room are clean, all the staff are helpful and friendly and complimentary umbrellas and chairs were set out early each morning.

We have stayed here many times through the years. We LOVE it! Great accommodations and fantastic staff. This is not your fancy place. It is simple and awesome!!

The staff and management were very very customer friendly and made sure all of our needs were taken care of and all our questions were answered with courtesy and a smile in a professional manner, I give them a five star plus rating. Keep up the good work

The Views! went for a girls weekend. The room was just enough for three adults and loved the balcony. Very quaint, cute, friendly place to stay on the beach! We did not bring any pets but never did any of the pets interrupt our amazing stay. Karen the night manager was fantastic, anytime we needed something she was right on it and super friendly. The grassy yard with all the hammocks just made it feel so relaxing. Super easy walk onto the beach. Def will stay again in the next month! Friendly, Clean and affordable!

I just returned home from a week stay at Seahawk! I cannot say enough about how nice, friendly, welcoming, and helpful the staff are here. The rates are reasonable as well. Super clean! Karen-Elaine is so sociable and makes sure to check on you if she sees you out and about. We took our almost 12 year old yellow Labrador Max with us, and he LOVED every second of the stay too. Seahawk has thought of proving everything you need except your clothes and food. They have beach/pool towels for you to use. They have beach chairs and umbrellas out everyday. There is a pool, gas grills, corn hole, bikes, hammocks and swings that face the ocean, and patio seating to enjoy the wonderful views. Did I mention that EACH ROOM HAS AN OCEAN VIEW?!? Because they do!!!!!! The beach is only a stones throw from the rooms. We will never stay anywhere else again as long as there is a vacancy! Highly recommend this place! Before arriving i read reviews and I was kind of nervous. The negative one's that I read are not accurate. This is an awesome little place to stay and a a great price at that! The rooms are super clean and the lady J is awesome. Super friendly and went out of her way to make sure that we were accommodated and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed last year in October and loved it. We will be back. Loved the fact that we could bring our 4 legged friends and it is oceanfront. Watched the dolphins playing in the waves every day.

We have lived at the coast for years and have driven past this establishment numerous times. We stayed this last weekend as my daughter was getting married close by and we took it as an excuse for a staycation. From the moment that I called to book the rooms to the moment we checked it out was perfect. For what we needed and the time that we were there it met our needs. The sound of the ocean put us to sleep at night and it was just what we needed to decompress after wedding events. The staff was fantastic and so very accommodating. From extra supplies to a smiling friendly greeting every time. There are so many places to chose from at the beach but after this weekend we will be choosing this place again.

Jay was amazing, she could answer all your questions without any problems. She was polite, courteous, and very strong customer service skills! Rooms are cozy and all rooms are ocean front! Definitely visit your private owned hotels, you won't be disappointed!
