Off the beaten path and a pretty nice surprise. Drove by on a Sunday afternoon and sat at the bar. Loved the design and atmosphere, a certain chill yet country classic. Then there was the risotto with chicken! Amazing flavor and texture which melts in your mouth! Adding to the short list as an unassuming spot with delicious food!

Their Filet is the best in town! Add that rosemary garlic butter and... Oh my!
The side salad with house made Ranch <3
That loaded baked potato is on point!
You cannot go wrong with this for your dinner order!!!

Taylor is amazing! Best service we have ever gotten here, and that really says something because we always have e such a great experience.

The pretzels are such an indulgence, but worth it. We also can't come for dinner without the banana pudding. The verry berry mule mocktails were great too.

Quite an unexpected surprise. Decided to eat here for dinner on a whim while we were close by and this restaurant showed up on Google maps. Arrived around 7pm and although it was busy they had tables available for 2 walk-ins. Drinks were very good, service was great, and the food was even better. We got the pork chops and fried chicken, each with 2 sides, and I was pleasantly surprised that not only were they delicious, the flavors had taken traditional southern foods with a twist. Highly recommend the drive to Belmont downtown and check out this restaurant.

I stopped by here after my eye appointment and it was really nice. My bartender Cierra made the bomb Moscow mules! They have so many different flavors. They have daily drinks and food specials. I enjoyed myself and will definitely be back.

My husband and I love this place! They pulled off The Lodge atmosphere well. It feels like you walk in after a trip down the mountain on the ski slopes. I enjoyed the venison chili which is not a common menu item and my husband can’t get enough of the wings. He also enjoys the lumberjack Old Fashioned. We have been back 3 times! Will take the family when they’re in town visiting.

My son and I went to The Lodge Tavern & Tap for dinner on a Saturday, and we knew it would be good because the wait to be seated was about an hour. Once we were seated, we were promptly greeted by our server. The menu has items clearly marked as gluten free which I really appreciated.

My son ordered chicken tenders and fries (not gluten free). I ordered the bison burger with lettuce instead of a bun, even though they offered a GF bun for an extra 50 cents.

I also had the Mexican Caesar as my side. I asked them to bring out the salad first, and it was very fresh and delicious. It included romaine lettuce, diced tomatoes, and corn tortilla strips for extra texture. The Mexican Caesar dressing was thick, flavorful, and spicy. I used a small amount because I can handle only so much spice. Once my son's tenders arrived, I used his ranch to cool down the spice.

The burger was hot and juicy, and I had it with cheddar, tomato, onion, pickles, and mayo.

We discussed GF dessert options, and they have ice cream and banana pudding. The waitress and manager were very careful about my dessert choices, and they showed me the pudding mix ingredients list. They also make the pudding to order with bananas, vanilla wafers, and whipped cream. They excluded the wafers, and it was such a creamy, delicious treat.

The manager and staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and caring. I will definitely return, and I encourage you to give it a try.

The place we wanted to eat tonight was closed, so we had to find something else. This came up on the list of local places open on a Sunday night, and we ended up choosing it because of their nice sized kids menu (we have a rather picky 4 year old so options are a must).

Let me just say this first and foremost: It has been YEARS since I last had service so fantastic. Our server, Jessie, was an absolute joy. She treated us like gold and, even better, she made our little boy feel so special. Watching them make friends was so sweet and funny. It's been an hour since we left and he's still talking about her.

While we were there, the manager visited our table as well and welcomed us to the restaurant. Overall it was a genuinely very warm and welcoming experience that's hard to come by in a lot of restaurants nowadays. We felt like family.

I'd also like to give a shout-out to the bartender, Mia. That gal makes a mean margarita!

The food was delicious. I ordered the Brunswick stew. I'm particular about good Brunswick stew, and I was impressed with theirs. My husband had their Mahi plate and he enjoyed every bite. The fish was cooked perfectly and the collard greens on the side were delicious. Everything came out fast and was hot and fresh.

10/10 experience at the Lodge tonight. It was our first time visiting there but it definitely won't be the last.

I found this place by accident the other day. My sister, niece and I decided to try it out. One of the best stakes I’ve ever had. The ribeye steak is the same price as Fatz ruby Tuesday long horn and Texas Roadhouse but it’s so good it doesn’t even compare to any of them. Highly recommend trying this place out. The service was great also

The food is delicious. I recommend the buffaloaf. Parking can be an issue because there is no dedicated lot. The atmosphere is inviting and there are a bunch of interesting decor pieces. The staff is always friendly and the food comes out pretty quickly. There's a private area too where they offer options for private events.

We were visiting from out of town for a graduation service at Radford U. So we will probably not travel this way again. With that said our waitress seated and served 11 of us superbly. Cordial, pleasant, accurate, fast and efficient from the complicated orders to the individual pricing. And the food was excellent. Given the chance I would love to eat here again.

My first time in Belmont and my wife and I found this little place that was wonderful. We started off with the Pimento cheese which I have to say was some of the best that I've ever had. My wife had the burger with a side salad and I tried both as well and they were fantastic. My angry bird sandwich had good flavor and just the right amount of spice. I got the roasted duck fat carrots which were out of this world. I hope that I make it back to belmont just to eat at this restaurant. Our waitress had only been working for about 5 days and she did a fantastic job getting us what we needed. I also was impressed with a lady who come by who I assumed was the manager checking on us and making sure everything was good. Everything about this crisis was perfect.

It was Labor Day and we were looking for a diner for our last night in the Belmont, NC area. An extensive search turned up "The Lodge." I couldn't be more impressed. We were seated promptly and our server was exceptionally friendly. She explained menu items and always had a genuine smile. I had the club sandwich, which was an impressive rendition of a classic meal. We were all very pleased with the choice. The restaurant itself is decorated but no overdecorated like the large chain eateries. So it was very pleasant. Highly recommended.

This was a nice little find. We had never been here before. Our waitress, Jessie, was awesome! The food was something different from standard bar food you find most places. My husband had a Buffalo burger he built himself with venison chili and Brunswick stew. I have the buffaloaf.
Highly recommend the straw-bubbly as an adult beverage!!! It's delicious! Husband preferred the mules.

We just had drinks before dinner down the street. We love the bar at the Lodge and all their TVs for football. It's a lively crowd with lots of people and activity.

The absolute best steak I’ve ever ate. The sides were delicious and the fried pickles for the appetizer were spot on. Great service!

From the outside, this place looks a little sketchy. It is a little off the main street and some of the side walls are peeling. Parking is the toughest part, though that affects all Belmont restaurants.

Walking inside hits you fast- wow this place is amazing. Took my eyes a little to adjust from the bright sunlight to the darker wood interior. Very warm and inviting. Looks much bigger inside than what the outside seems.

Not sure if we had reservations, but we were seated fairly quickly. Service was quick, friendly, and very good.

Very good variety of food. I had a hard time deciding. I got pork chops. They were a little too dry for my taste, but everything else was excellent. Other people in my party said theirs were excellent. Will definitely be back to try more in the future.

My friends and I stopped at this establishment to have a beverage or two and dinner. The hostess and staff were very professional. This establishment was very clean. However, the men's bathroom was a little questionable. Overall the food and drinks were good, I would recommend this place.
