The Bottle Tree

We have now been for both brunch as well as dinner, and both have been phenomenal. The brunch was so good we ordered the Johnny cakes with the greens having the perfect amount of seasoning. I had the fried green tomato blt, which my partner was practically fighting over because it was so good. Dinner, we had the pasta, chicken, and ramen, all of which were very good!

Lovely. That is the word I think best describes this jewel. Ambiance is lovely, food is lovely, drinks are lovely, staff is lovely you get the drift.

It’s great having a place where the chef said I’m going “try that in a small town” (My joke not the restaurants) and it pays off for us so much wonderful things to try you really can’t get anywhere else around here. The menu is seasonal so don’t get too attached to something. I think that is a great trade off for fresh food.

The drinks are great, fun and playful. The staff is top notch, helping each other and insuring every experience is an amazing one. Making this lovely spot a must visit for a you guessed Lovely time.

We always love The Bottle Tree. It's very small inside but it's quaint. We love their little bar! The food is just fabulous. It's such a good experience.

I have done so many different reviews in different places for this restaurant. The Food is absolutely amazing, good beer list, great craft cocktails.

The outdoor area is beautiful with two fire pits.

They also have a make your own mimosa bar station right at your table on Saturdays and Sundays for 11:00 to 2:00 for brunch. I suggest brunch and going back for dinner.

Absolutely delicious food! Every morsel from our small plates, mains and dessert were perfect. Whitney was wonderful and made great suggestions. The atmosphere is casual and fun and very unpretentious. The outdoor space is amazing and would be so fun with family or friends. This is our new go to restaurant when we want an amazing meal without all the stuffiness most 5 star restaurants possess.

Cozy atmosphere. Different menu than you’ll get most places around here. Strong service. Will definitely be back.

I took my wife and mother for their birthday dinner. We were not disappointed. We all had different dishes that were excellent. We ordered the four course special for $45. Well worth the money. My wife had the Smoked Butter Chicken, my mom had the Carolina Catch (flounder) and I had the Pork Schnitzel. All were cooked to perfection and were excellent!

Side note: If you like sweet and spicy, try the Korean Drumettes as an appetizer. For dessert, the berry cobbler was a hit. I’d skip the bread pudding, it’s a little dry. The service was great.

This is not your ho hum restaurant. The dishes are creative and unique. If you haven’t eaten here before, your missing out!!

Everything about this place is 5 stars! Great service, great food & very accommodating! I’m vegan and the chef had NO problem making me the best vegan meal I’ve ever had. If you haven’t been to The Bottle Tree you are missing out!

I only had one restaurant I wanted to visit while I was in Charlotte and it was the Bottle Tree. I came in right at opening during brunch and immediately I knew I made the right choice. There was no wait and I was sat at a comfortable table by the window. I also had the option to sit in a heated tent. I ended up ordering the chicken schnitzel hash and the Vietnamese coffee. Everything was delicious! I usually have leftovers but I ate every bite! I could tell the ingredients were high quality because I didnt even feel bloated afterwards. The service was so incredibly friendly and attentive too! Next time I'm in town, I'm absolutely coming back!

Parking: There is some free street parking in front of the restaurant or off of the main road a block away.

Wow. My family went here for my birthday and we all agreed it's the best food in Belmont! The dumplings and duck fat pie were great, and everyone loved their entrees (I had the duck breast). Our waitress Whitney was fantastic. We will DEFINITELY be coming here again.

I met my parents in Belmont to celebrate my birthday - they are locals and suggested Bottle Tree. So glad they did! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. I ordered chard and wild mushroom enchiladas and we shared a bread basket. The flavors were rich; the presentation thoughtful and artistic. Bonus: Prosecco served in coupe glasses made my standard dinner beverage seem a little more elegant. The setting is a converted house - it is small and intimate inside, but an expansive outdoor area allows for more covered seating overlooking an enormous oak tree. Give this place a try!! It is not inexpensive but their quantities and quality far exceeds their pricing.

Pleasant atmosphere with unassuming elegance. Very friendly host and server. The food was excellent. You could tell they adhere to their farm to table commitment. Fresh veggies always taste best! Executive Chef Kyle visited our table and was most gracious. Definitely a place we'll visit again!

Just an overall wonderful experience. Environment was great. Food and service was excellent. One of the better meals I've had in a long time. Had the Korean fried chicken and it was delicious. My wife had the pork schnitzel and was also very good.

I absolutely love this place. I ate there about a year or so ago and was disappointed in the food. Great ideas but not well seasoned.
When I heard Chef Kyle Gaddas was taking over I was really excited. I have been to a few of his restaurants and his menus are always stimulating and executed to perfection! I highly recommend this place.

Always have great service and excellent meals here! They change their menu pretty often, so love getting to try new things each time I’m in town!

Wow. Just wow. Food is incredible, atmosphere is awesome, drinks are great, and the outdoor dining dining experience is top notch. There is something for everyone. Great prices on bottles of wine. Tip: get your Vietnamese coffee with your dessert. Too good

Tried The Bottle Tree for restaurant week. Great food, good service. They probably over booked as we waited 45 minutes past reservation to be seated. However, we will definitely return!

Everything was super delicious and had an excellent flavor to it. The staff was friendly and very accommodating as well. Definitely recommend!

The Bottle Tree has awesome ambiance both inside and out! We have always been outside but tonight we sat at the bar and had an amazing dinner yet again. We started with a bottle of cuvée (delicious, from Sonoma) and a Brussel Caesar (I’m not normally a Caesar girl but wow was this a crazy good take on a Caesar with a super tasty housemade dressing). The Pork Cheek Empanada was fantastic, made with a local pork cheek and the perfect amount of spice in the peppers and avocado crema. I haven’t even mentioned the perfection of the Mahi in the Carolina Catch, it was fantastic. Kudos to Chef! They have a pastry chef who makes a scrumptious chocolate torte which I paired with the Vietnamese coffee. Maddie has taken care of us every time we’ve been here and she creates a memorable experience every time. All in all, incredible date night and we will be back very soon.
