Terra Mia McAdenville

One of our favorite places to enjoy great food and warm service. When reviewing businesses near my own area, I tend to wait a while to be sure my comments reflect consistent experiences over time. After more than a year of enjoying wonderful meals almost weekly at Terra Mia, I can say with confidence that you should have a lovely experience here. I have tried and enjoyed several pasta dishes, rolls, the chicken piccata (awesome!), and salads. My husband loves the Terra Mia salad with grilled salmon. I am not even a fan of salmon, but have to admit theirs is quite good. I believe the prices, while not low-budget, are reasonable for the quality and abundance provided. We typically have great and timely service. I can imagine things can get hectic here at peak times, as with any restaurant. So we target less crowded times to visit, such as Sunday lunchtime.

My friends and I sat outside on the patio and had a fantastic dinner together! The menu was extensive, and I had a huge delicious calzone. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable, and he gave us great service!

First time there. The service was impeccable. Food was exemplary. Dessert was absolutely scrumptious. Their selections of wines were perfect with every portion of the meal. We ended the meal with a delicious espresso and sambuca. The bill was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place. Can't wait to go back again. A gem in the middle of nowhere.

We had Terra Mia provide the food for our wedding for ~100 guests. I worked with Marcello and Michelle and they made things so easy to coordinate. The food was absolutely delicious and our guests were constantly asking where it was from because everything was so fresh and delicious. We went to dinner a couple times prior to booking with them, and each time it was better than the last. I highly recommend eating here and also getting catered food from them, because it is top notch! They are the sweetest people to work with and I can't say enough good things about them and everyone at Terra Mia! Thank you so much again and we will be back soon for sure!

Allison (with the lovely red hair) was a wonderful waitress! We stopped in to have dinner and them roamed around for the town Xmas lights. Food was absolutely delicious, great selection on beer and wine too. It looked like a manager or even the main owner was going around taking names and seating each party. Great work on a very busy night. Thank you!

I love this place. Everything is always fresh, the pizza is great all the way from the sauce and the crust. It is the closest to home (NY) as I can get in NC and I have tried a lot lol. I don't know what it is about the fries but they are really good and no matter what we order we always need the fries too! I never wait long for our food either.

Honestly one of the best meals I've EVER had in my LIFE. Savored every single bite while the fireworks went off in my soul. I got the Smoked Chicken Ravioli- it was out of this world. I also recommend the Christmas Shine cocktail. Affordable for how much you get! (Especially the lunch prices!) PLEASE go here- you won't be let down. <3 Owner & staff were amazing. Wish I could do ten stars. Best authentic Italian food ever. Love the atmosphere and people. The service was fast too. And Claudia was the best server. I messed up my order and she was on it! Had it fixed fast. The authentic Italian food is AMAZING. Even my picky 16 year old son loved the pizza I brought home for him. Just awesome. We will be back.

We ate here for the first time last week when we came to see the lights. We got there around 4:30, which was just before Christmas-light-rush, for reference. The owner sat us himself, then checked on us multiple times to make sure we were getting good service (we were). I had simple penne alfredo and it was absolutely AMAZING. The pasta was the best I've had and the sauce was incredible. My son (7) got a pizza and my mom got Rogatoni Bolognese - both were delicious. We're definitely planning to come back when they have the full menu again (and it's a 2 hour drive for us). Highly recommend. This will be a must anytime we're in the area.

This is my go-to place for a delicious salad, pizza, and kids menu. I’m scared to try their other dishes on account of a shellfish allergy but all the things I’ve ordered have been safe. Never more than a 20 min wait on carry out, and when my kiddo comes in, the owner/manager always gives him a “cookie” (biscotti?). Oh and the white pizza with portobello and prosciutto is to die for!

Terra Mia is an absolutely fantastic restaurant. My fiancé is Italian and this is one of the only Italian places in America she has completely fallen in love with the food. Her words, not mine - their food is about as authentic as it gets this side of the Atlantic. Their staff is friendly and greets us every time with smiles. I look forward to every subsequent visit.

Went for a nice evening meal with some friends August 1,2020. Staff was friendly knowledgeable. Atmosphere is very nice. The food is very impressive. The portions are very generous as well. The charcuterie tray was very good. They have a bar and can offer a variety of adult beverages.
When I ordered the large Stromboli, the waiter suggested I get the small one instead due to the size. He was correct. I couldn't finish the small one and I have a good appetite it would easily feed two people. The large one would probably feed 4 people. We had a great time and the price points were good. I look forward to going back again and recommend you give it a try.

1st time coming in as my wife has been promoting random cravings of late given the COVID-19 debacle that has plagued most of 2020. We arrived without a reservation but were seated promptly at a small table near the bar area. It so happened that there was live music that night by a young lady who played and sang very well. The assumed "head guy" came out and asked if we had any questions and emphasized the choice in noodles as my wife mentioned her likely meal choice. My wife ordered the Pappardelle Carbonara w/ Chicken and mushroom noodles. This portion was huge and came with a small side salad. I ordered the Penne Alfredo w/ subbed in mushrooms and broccoli. I could have finished it but honestly would have been stuffed. You also get breadsticks with what is assumed to be the common oil with balsamic and seasoning to dip them in. We both enjoyed the outing, the music was enjoyable and the meal was very good. We will be back.

Had a great first experience at Terra Mia. We are new to the area and can’t wait to bring our next guests back. The food was delicious. It did seem a bit delayed and the server forgot to put our appetizers in so they came out with the mains. He took care of one of them and made the wrong right. Support local business!

This place is amazing! It is our go-to in the area. Everything we've had is very delicious. I love supporting local restaurants. The staff are always very sweet and kind as well.

Lovely little Italian place, authentic food, great service from Luisa, perfect date night or weekend lunch spot. Cute outdoor dining as well! Definitely will be back!

Friendly service, I like being greeted by one of the people presumably responsible for cooking our food. The servers seemed happy and on top of things in spite of a fairly busy lunch crowd. For lunch I ordered the "pepperoni roll" which is essentially a pepperoni & ham stromboli and my wife got the 4 slice pepperoni and sausage Nona pizza. I thought the pepperoni roll was excellent, but have to say the Nona pizza was the big star of lunch. Think Sicilian style pizza with a significantly thinner (but not thin) crust that is crisp and holds up well to toppings.
Essentially it was a terrific dining experience coupled with excellent food, we enjoyed ourselves to such an extent that we are already planning to return for dinner one night soon to try some of the pasta dishes on the menu.

if you don't want to be bother with the waiting hassle of most restaurant this is the place for you. 30 min wait with food so delicious i will come again. The service was prompt and friendly. We had spaghetti and meat balls and bruschetta.

This place was AMAZING. Shrimp tuscano was to die for, and the bruschetta was just as incredible! Service was great and the setting is a charming Main St must! We’d drive the 45 minutes to McAdenville just to eat here! Will be back ASAP!
