A little known place with a huge amount of history. History you can see in pictures. Photos from Gastonia, Charlotte, & surrounding areas. So many opportunities to bring up memories lost.

Amazing experience. Never before have I seen so many photographs depicting the history of Charlotte and Gaston county! It is truly worth a visit. You will be in awe with the sheer number of pictures everywhere. Allen will share with you stories about every single one if you ask. Definitely one of the must sees if you are in Belmont!

This little museum is a hidden gem in downtown Belmont. Mr Millican has transformed this building into a fascinating tour of local history and much more. He can tailor your tour to 5 minutes to at least an hour and he can talk the entire time about his photos and memorabilia. It is all very interesting and he has SO much to share. He even inspired me to read a book about a famous set of twins.

Our senior group visited here last year on one of our day trips. I was blown away by the number and variety of photographs on display. The photos document many years of the history of Belmont. Allen has lots of interesting detailed personal stories about the area and newsworthy events that happened over the years.

We were very impressed with the Millican History Museum. It was a perfect look into the stories of the past of this area by seeing scenes of real people and historic moments. It was great to see pictures of places we remembered and also learn about places we've never been to before. We are definitely planning on returning.

I enjoyed my stop at this historic landmark. Alan Millican, the gentleman who owns the property, is an expert in the immediate area's history. If you are interested in American history, especially Labor/Union history, you must pop in. There is a lot to learn here, so make sure Alan knows how much time you have. I suspect that he can educate for as long as you have time to learn. I only had 40 minutes before I had to leave for a flight and it felt like 15 and I would have loved to stay longer. Really interesting.

I went to find photos of the Diane-29 and they had exactly what I was looking for. Also found others that I wanted as well. If you love History, expecially history, I highly recommended it!

Excelente. Ir y charlar con Allen es una experiencia única. Increíble todo lo que logro recolectar. Imperdible, y no olvidarse de dejar la contribución que es a voluntad.
