Came on a Wednesday night, really chill. Bartender is super sweet! Service is great. Love a great hole in the wall bar.

Music, Guinness , TV, full bar, & live band on a corner stage. Friends and groups gather. More like a neighborhood pub.
All the bartenders have been nice. I left this in draft for a few days and just after work today and a couple Red Clay Ramblers were singing, playing guitar and fiddling! In a bench seat in the middle of the bar. Two Boston Terriers were at the end seats w loving owners. Ours were at home, where they act their best.

To me it has a great dive bar feel with all positive vibes. Staff is awesome and just a great place to hang out whether sitting inside or out. Has drafts, bottles/cans and mixed drinks.

Lovely beer selection with a goodly amount of seating both indoors and out. Trivia on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 8 pm with Quizmaster Richard is a must do! (Bring a ✒ for trivia.)

Ample parking across the street in the gravel lot.

No food served here so they sometimes have food trucks, but you can always bring in your own.

Outstanding service and selection. We went to see a band and had such a nice time.

Classic local bar, with a long reach in terms of quality live music on the weekends. Everyone is super friendly. Darts! Free popcorn! Rainbow! Often they have excellent tamales cooked in a food truck out back. When they don't, Hillsborough BBQ just a short walk away will deliver to the bar! Honestly, it doesn't get any better.

Excellent hole-in-the-wall. It's got personality. Beer prices are standard. Lines clean. Bartender was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Wish I could have stayed longer.

A cool, funky, and inviting tavern with canned beers, a rotating tap menu and a hard liquor selection that focuses on quality over quantity. Some of the bourbon on the shelf I have never seen at another bar or tavern in NC (Taylor's for example). Worth a visit for sure, especially if you need a breather to survive the food coma from the bbq meal that you may have had next door.

What a find. Nash Street Tavern is the best local bar 🍻 for conviviality, music and drinks in Hillsborough NC. Tucked away in the former mill town neighborhood of the historic city of Hillsborough ( featured in the hit series Outlander no less) the Nash Street Tavern is that secret hideaway that more folks will want to visit. Several restaurants next door offer a variety of eat out or take out options. My only beef is...if NST wants to continue hosting top talent, they need to pay them more than tip jar. The double bill of Gone Ghosts and Heat Preacher was superlative entertainment and they deserve to be appreciated to the utmost.

We met friends there and noted the staff was friendly, the patrons were too, the band was great, and we enjoyed dancing very much. It is a quaint little town country bar atmosphere that was quite delightful.

Came here to see a friend perform and kind of wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. The atmosphere is great, the staff are all friendly and lovely.

A friendly and comfortable neighborhood bar. Nice to sit outside on a pretty afternoon and watch trains, cars, and people go by while listening to a good live band.
