I just wanted a breakfast sandwich to go. I got a lot more than that.

A group of folks that meet at this local gem every week, asked me to sit down and join them. Have a good Ole conversation. So I did. Some of the best and most entertaining folks and conversations I think I've ever met and had. I miss you all my new friends.

Nothing complicated about this place, the food is like eating at your family's house, plus when they give you food for the road. Just like grandma. Want a breakfast sandwich? It was just that.

Bacon cooked even, egg fried with salt and pepper between two slices of toasted sandwich bread. Got it in a brown paper bag with napkins. Easy, simple, quick, no fuss. hit the spot.

Parking is easy, seating is diner-style booths and tables, and they have a little market attached, but it was closed at the time I went. Prices are great, food is simple Southern home-style cooking.

I'm planning on going back next time I drive by town.
Definitely need to try more of the food and update this review as soon as possible. Maybe even have another cup of coffee with the regulars and catch up.

Delicious late night buffet with a nice atmosphere. This is a simple salad and home cooking style buffet that has about a dozen items to choose from. It provides a much more appetizing option than a fast food stop and, since it is self serve buffet, you can move at your pace potentially making faster than fast food.
All of the hot vegetables were delicious and well seasoned, particularly the roasted red potatoes. The pork chops and chicken were well cooked without being over done. Still tender and succulent which can be hard to do when they spend any time on the buffet line.

5 stars all the way. Rarely do I ever get a waitress as cool as Jasmine. Omelette was perfect. Had to tip the place, everyone there was talkative and friendly. Wow. 5 stars is not enough. It’s really hard to find any place worthy of 5 stars in these times but this is it you’ve struck gold if you chose to eat here

I’m a country boy and I drive trucks and I love when I run the south and I’m always looking for dinners and I found this one and tried it I ate breakfast and since I had a layover I ate supper and now I’m up this morning waiting for it to open up for breakfast. Very good food

Amazing and expedient service! Breakfast is great. I particularly loved the little crunch on the hashed browns. Good service of steak and eggs for the price. Corned Beef hash is a must try here! I will definitely come back if I pass by this town!

As a long haul truck driver I tell any driver out there if you're at the pilot next door, walk your butt over here and enjoy some home cooking. They got a perfect chicken fried steak and a buffet if you're running hard

Hands down one of the best diners in North Carolina! I doubt that you will find a better value for the money. Prices are extremely reasonable here, and the service was fantastic. I think that the cook made me the best hamburger steak that I've ever had! Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely return to this place!! Great diner experience, even having those table jukeboxes at the tables.

The fried chicken is some of the best I have eaten. The burger was great. Fresh meat not frozen. Price point is really worth the money

Just 'happened on Miestone Diner looking for a 'pit stop'. We were headed to Waffle House, but this looked like a better option - yes!! Great service, breakfast and unbeatable atmosphere. Our new breakfast place when travelling this way!

One of the BEST breakfast's we have had in a long time. Omelettes were amazing, hash browns cooked to perfection and the service was super friendly and very attentive. We will definitely be stopping here again, next time through.

Very classic diner atmosphere. The service was great. The food was amazing. On the menu for French toast it states you only get two but you actually get 6 big slices. So if you order more you’ll get more than you expected. The eggs were perfection. I asked for sausage links and got Pattie’s instead but wasn’t bother by it because I don’t actually have a preference. The restaurant could use an upgrade in A/C though. It’s cooler inside but still warm and a bit muggy as well. They had a portion of the seating area closed off. Don’t know the reason. All in all. Nice restaurant.

Being a solo diner, means a quite a bit of things, for me . I usually worry about the service and pacing of the meal. Quite honestly because hey I'm a one top. Tonight i walked in and was welcomed with a friendly hello and can I get ya a sweet Tea. I had breakfast at 1930 and it was freshly cooked, the home potatoes, the eggs, and the pork tenderloin was so good. The smothered gravy and biscuits made it better. Alexis was also an amazing and perfect waitress; she was attentive, proactive and friendly. I never needed anything while I dined here.. the cook was also friendly and so was another waitress there. Thank you Alexis for everything and to the diner for amazing food...this will become a regular stop on my route.

Really nice place to eat. The little lady named June is very nice and polite great customer service. If ever in North Carolina I would definitely eat here again.

I found Milestone while on my drive to Loris SC. The diner is very unassuming from the outside. When I entered the Diner I was pleasantly greeted and felt like I had been time warped back to the 1950's. It felt like the Diner from the Back to the Future movies with Michael J. Fox.

I had the Philly cheese steak omelette with hash browns and a side of toast and they were awesome. Best hash browns I've ever had. I highly recommend stopping if you're in the area.

The food was great. Friendly waitress old 50s style diner real good prices right next to the pilot truck stop would comeback again

Breakfast is really good and they have the best Liver with Onion & Gravy I've had..They are Very mice people with excellent customer service.
