There are very few places you can go and have a sit down dinner from home. Days of when mom or grandma cooked dinner with kids in tow at a dinner table talking, teasing, eat, and being together this is Barbecue Barn. Food that bring you back to the table. A son to a father and a daughter to a mother. Good home food that brings you basics, the way God intended.

Had the meatloaf special...I loved my meal...great customer service...great food it a small cozy lil place...will definitely be back and will recommend!!are a bit pricey BUT for the portions...I'm ok with it.

I have read about this place on Google and wanted to eat here. Maaaaaan was I in for the BEST taste in down home food. The cooks put their personal touches in every item on your plate. The waiters are really friendly and that for me is a BIG PLUS. We even got plates to go. We do plan on returning soon. Thanks Barbecue Barn for bringing back great tasting food at a delicious price.

After a long day at work, I decided to give this place a try. I've lived in Elizabeth City for a little over a year. I drove by it day after day. It's appearance is cozy, very clean, normal prices, and the food is very good. I'm glad I was to tired to cook . This a family atmosphere, you will like the experience. I will be going back with my crew to Barbecue Barn.

Great place. Great food, and friendly staff. Me and my wife finally stopped by this evening. I had the BBQ and Chicken dinner and my wife had the Meatloaf plate. Both were EXCELLENT! The fried chicken was tender and not greasy, the hush puppies were awesome, and the BBQ was sweet. Also, some of the biggest, thickest onion rings I've ever seen. Everything was delicious!

Best BBQ around, but you have to try the mac and cheese. Both are so good they make love in your mouth! The food is so worth the price you pay. If you want great food and friendly staff go to the Barbecue Barn!!
