Tilghman's Garage

My car suddenly broke down on the highway on the way to the airport in New Bern, NC. It needed a tow & Tilghman's was a few miles away. I gave them & call & within 30 minutes one of the guys from the shop came out & towed my car to their shop & got it fixed up in no time. Honest people & honest work. Very happy with all the help getting me back on the road in such a short amount of time!

I happen to get a flat on U.S. 70 just by the shop. I managed to pull in and had the best customer service ever. Though they did not have the tire i needed, Scott helped me replace my tire with the spare i had and gave me information about some tire shops nearby. Overall, it was a great experience!!!

Scott, the owner is a great guy to deal with. He took over after his father passed and is following in his foot steps. Great local garage. A real pleasure to do business with him.

Traveling hwy 70. Waterpump went out on truck. Pulled into garage and Scott and his crew had me back on the road in 1 hour and a half. Highly recommend. Great service. Thanks again.

My car has over 219000 miles. I've never had anything major because these guys keep me serviced If they find something they let me know. I'm glad I have these guys to keep me rolling.

Very knowledgeable about any mechanical issue with old or new automobiles! Fast and friendly service also! They are also very reasonable on their prices! As with most shops you need to call and set up an appointment.

Took my car there to get it checked out because a sensor came on for the transmission. He checked it out and told me I could safely get back home(Ohio) just have it fixed once home. I'll keep them on my list for the future .

I never experienced such amazing customer service before from any business ever like Tillman’s. I own a small restoration company and I was in the area helping clean up after hurricane Florence. We were on on way home back to Ohio and one of my box trucks broke down. I took it to their garage. They were so informative about everything and they found out that I needed a new transmission. The box truck is a older model and I wasn’t sure about putting anymore money into it. They didn’t pressure me into anything and I explained to them I wasn’t sure what to do. They let me store the truck there and I headed home and they said just to call them when I figured out what I wanted to do.I finally decided to just haul it back to Ohio but not once did they call and tell me I needed to get my truck out of there. Everytime I talked to them they were so nice. I wish their was a Tilmans Garage back in Ohio. Thank you so much guys for providing real true customer service. Now a days a business like Tilmans is hard to find

Our box truck broke down in their parking lot, after hours on a Friday, and Daniel help fix it temporarily so we could make it to our destination. Very friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond.

Coming back from New Bern NC we were on Highway 70 east pulling our 5x8 trailer when our front right wheel bearing went out and we got stuck on the side of the road 4.9 miles from Tilghmans Garage we called and spoke to Dwayne he offered to tow us and our trailer to his shop to check out our vehicle for us when we arrived he offered us a place to sit and a bottle of water for both me and my wife and offered us crackers as well, there is nothing around here but he made sure we got a drink and a snack while he checked out our car, his prices were very affordable and everyone at his shop were very nice and most importantly to me that they were respectful to my wife ans they watched their language in front of her.

If you ever are near by and need work done on your car do not hesitate to stop by Tilghmans Garage they will treat you right!!!!
