Altman's Grocery Barn & Grill

Came back from Texas for my bright leaf hotdog (with slaw,) homemade chicken salad, and tenderloin biscuit…everything was delicious, service is always friendly, and prices are reasonable.

A century-long landmark of our small community, run by a fantastic family & they've done a great job continuously improving their brand (over the years) while also embracing the history. The store is always clean & stocked well. Employees are always friendly. Prices are very fair. Grill foods are delish & quickly prepared. A shining star of our "neck of the woods"!

Great breakfast platters! I have ordered breakfast platters for my elderly mom once a week for the last couple of weeks. The food is hot, eggs are perfect, grits are amazing and the ham is tender. She loves the buttered toast and Jelly as well. I ordered the 'biscuits to go', fried egg and sausage for myself. Yum! Thank you for serving our community and for your 'home cooked meals'. Don't change a thing !

Now don't get me wrong!! This place is great! But pump 5 and 6 dont take my card now matter how many swipes. And when I told brian he just said that it was my card or just use a different pump. I need diesel and both sides have the problem. Fix this issue and I'll give the review this place deserves. Edit: it's fixed!

This place is so awesome I wrote a book and put them in it. Look for it there, I intend to buy copies and take them there for them to sell. "Crazy Cat Lady" by Kitty de' Chatfou aka Kitty Honeycutt. By the way, try their corn nuggets they are the bomb!
