This office has such a welcoming environment. The woman that works the front desk is amazing with everyone I’ve seen her interact with. The doctors all seem nice but my care taker is the absolute best. I was very hesitant seeking help and struggled for a very long time and finally feel like I can breathe again. Sharon H., you are absolutely radiant! I look forward to my appointments every week!

I have a child that has been receiving ongoing therapy at the Dunn office for the last six months. The therapist and her have made a real connection. The front office staff is helpful and accommodating. We have received excellent service and response to our needs. Would definitely recommend A. Alston for therapy!

My son and I received counseling service for over several years. I was able not to feel judged as a bad parent. The therapists did not give up and help both of us work though our problems. Today, my son has join the military and I am so proud of this day. Thanks for all the help.

Those below must have been seeing either bad doctors or training interns, either way both review is complete BS. I have the best counselor in the world.

I took my son to the Raleigh location for an evaluation. Walking in the door, there is a front desk, but no one is there to greet you. It kind of makes you feel like you're getting services in a back alley. It is a very unprofessional and unnerving look for a mental health provider. At the end of the evaluation, I asked if I could have an extra copy of the results to give to my son's school, as they had requested one. The counselor we were seeing called someone named Patricia, who I assume is the office manager, and then told me that they would not make a copy for me, to go take care of it myself. They charged my insurance over $650, and could not even make a copy for me. I shook my head as I walked towards the door and passed the copier. This may seem like such a small thing, but that is just the point. It was such a small request, that I was quite shocked that they refused to do it. The administration of this office is an absolute failure, and does not seem to be customer oriented at all. I will not be returning to this office for any services, and will take my business to a more professional office that knows how to put their customers first. If you can't take care of the small things, I will not trust you with the big issues, because you'll likely cut corners there as well.

DO NOT GO HERE! The Raleigh location is a complete joke and waste of my time. This is one career where you should be on time and if your not going to on time or even show up have the common sense to call the client and tell them.

First experience.... my insurance (Aetna) told me they were in network and gave me the number to call and set up an appointment. I called and explained i need someone in Raleigh and the lady said i couldnt see the psychologist until i saw a therapist but the therapists werent in network...hmmm kinda weird but okay....i said i'll call Aetna back and find someone else to see....THEY called me back and the lady apologized and said she was wrong so i can see the therapist. They set me up the next day and i rearrange my child care so i can go meet this guy and the guy never shows up. No call. No nothing. I have no way to call and talk to anyone because its a 6pm appointment. Another lady shows up 20 mins past 6pm and her client has been waiting in the car for her (wow this looks bad, this therapist is late and mine never showed up, glad i didnt come in at 545 like they said to do paperwork)... so after 30 mins of waiting i left. The therapist inside knew nothing about anything and just said sorry. The next morning the place got my message about no one showing up and thats pretty crappy since it was my first time ever needing to talk to someone.... the director Patricia apoligized and said he was never told and she was sorry, she said i'll reschedule you for saturday and personally be there too.... well on Saturday no one is there again until 10 mins past the time, i watch another guy show up but not sure who he is...another few mins later the director lady ... i get assigned a new guy which is fine...hes nice and we get the 1st session over and its mostly paperwork and back story info. I meet up with the following Tues and we have an actual session and the next Tues another one. Things are just starting go okay but then when i leave he tells me to contact the office to set up next visit and i call the next day and they tell him hes gone and they will have to set me up with another therapist. I ask them to have the director call me back and its been over 5 days, i call them back today. The lady who answers says that guy is no longer there and i ask to talk to the director Patricia and she had just left....how convienent.... she says she'll try her on her cell phone .... she doesnt go ahold of her but tells her she will call me back...well....hours pass and she did not.

I watched in the few times i've been to the Raleigh location in the 3 weeks i went there that no one that works there is one time and other people like myself wait for over 15-30 mins and there is no way to get ahold of anyone past 5pm. Dont waste your time or your money.

I'm going to complain to our insurance to not recommend anyone going to any of their locations and anywhere else i can.
