Wonderful service, friendly atmosphere, and drool-dropping flavors 🤤 we loved the chicken shawarma sandwich combo with fries. The prices are very affordable and the food has quality and authentic flavor. We cannot wait to go back for more!

A cute little hole in the wall kind of place, next to a grocery store. Food is really fresh and delicious! Service is quick and staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely a great middle eastern spot!

Such a nice market and restaurant. I really enjoy their food! The portion is so big, and their garlic sauce is the best!!!!!!!

Though this not a transitional Resturant as this attached to a store , however they do have few seat out tables inside the store and outside as well. Unlike a Resturant it have limited food options however the items like Yellow rice and chicken Sarwama was quite delicious. Packed chicken sarwama sandwiches to go. Price is quite reasonable per serving. Definitely tryout when in Raleigh downtown

You walk in and you expect to be greeted. I wasn’t.
You expect for them to act like they want you there. The two individuals that were there when I was acted like they could care less.
I ordered the lentil rice, tzatziki, slaw and lamb. The lamb seemed over cooked. It was chewy. It was still okay.
This is an authentic Mediterranean eatery but customer service is big with me which is why the three stars on this visit.
I’ll visit again because I did see they have some good looking items I want to try.

Authentic experience! Women wearing burkas and hijabs, a cook that only speak Arabic, tasty middle eastern food. It's all here! I had chicken and beef shawarma with yellow rice, falafel, and tatziki which was some of the best I've ever had. It was pretty good. My friend enjoyed his platter as well. Food was comparatively priced to similar restaurants. Loved the attached market too. Will return for sure.

I tried this restaurant during my visit to Raleigh and also after a bad experience from a nearby Mediterranean restaurant. I think this place has the authentic and best shawarma in the town. Also, they serve Halal meat, which I confirmed from the person on register.
There is plenty of parking available, and the seating arrangement for dining is acceptable, too. Overall, the restaurant is very clean, which is unsual for a market+restaurant setup (saying based on my past experiences)
I would definitely recommend this restaurant and market to anyone visiting Raleigh.

Their food, desserts, & service is all so good! I love the staff here, so welcoming & always explain their foods & desserts. Occasionally I’ll come in here to grab some snacks. I just got a fruit & Oreo cake & they’re so bomb!!! They also have a rewards system so you can get free stuff after spending a certain amount.

Everybody that I came in contact with was very friendly and welcoming. The food was good, they made something special for me that wasn't on the menu. They also gave me a dessert sample which I know I will come back and get. I bought some spices and everything just seems so fresh. I'm really looking forward to patronizing again.

I tried the beef shawarma and fries. They have real meat on the gyro machine and so no ground cone. Meat was really tender with all the spices and the amount of hummus inside the shawarma wrap was just right. The bread is fresh and the garlic dip was amazing. Fries seem like they are frozen ones but tasted great. They rejected my request to place the fries in the wrap which gets them extra respect points. Overall this was a 8.5/10 experience. Delicious.
Taste: 8/10. Delicious combination with the salad.
Meat quality: tender and seemed fresh
Sauce: Flavorful nice mix!
Bread quality: Fresh bread
Filling variety: Fresh vegetables. The slices make it a bit hard to eat with fillings
Value for money: Wish the portion was bigger.

Great spot for fresh made Mediterranean dishes. A well packed grocery with anything you need. The chicken shawarma bowl was just right with the yellow rice. I ordered a container of garlic cream because I was not going home without it! Friendly service. Easy ordering. My friend got the beef shawarma sandwich and oh my goodness, so so good. I'm getting that next time. Will definitely be back! Oh, and get the perfectly seasoned fries and dip in the garlic cream.

Have been meaning to come here for a while and finally did. The food was great. I had never had kofta kebabs with the flavor from here, wish I knew how they were flavored so I could try at home. The yellow rice was also excellent and the hummus is not like the hummus you get everywhere else. The grocery store also has a great selection of things you can't find anywhere else. I enjoy the atmosphere of eating right there in the store.

I really liked the food, I was there Saturday 1/13/2024 with a friend we both had the Shawarma plate and two sides, we also tried the baklava and a toasted coconut and cheese desert, we both enjoyed, they have a good selection of groceries and Halal meats. I will visit again. Thumbs up for me!!!

Every time my partner and I are in Raleigh visiting family, we have to stop here for shawarma. We tried it once and easily became a favorite. Market offerings are also great

Great place to do some shopping and get something to eat. It's counter service but they let you bring outside drinks and they have tables to eat there. Very filling!
The produce there is a lot better than other grocery stores like Food Lion.

From the moment I stepped into Albaraka Market and Grill, I was transported to the Mediterranean with its rich aromas and vibrant atmosphere. This gem of a restaurant, nestled in our town, is a true testament to authentic Mediterranean cuisine.
The star of the menu is undoubtedly the chicken and meat shawarma. Cooked to perfection, the shawarma is a harmonious blend of spices and flavors, wrapped in a soft, warm pita. The chicken is tender and juicy, while the meat is succulent and rich, each bite leaving you wanting more.
But the culinary delights don't stop there. The deboned whole chicken off the grill is a masterpiece. Its crispy skin and moist, flavorful meat showcase the grill's magic. It's a dish that resonates with simplicity and excellence, embodying the essence of Mediterranean cooking.
The sides and appetizers are equally impressive. The sweet coleslaw is a refreshing departure from the ordinary, offering a delightful contrast with its subtle sweetness and crunchy texture. And the fatayer pies are a revelation - the dough is light and flaky, forming the perfect base for a variety of toppings, from zesty spinach to rich cheese and hearty meat.
Albaraka Market and Grill also boasts a very nice, clean grocery and meat department. It's a treasure trove for food enthusiasts looking to explore Mediterranean ingredients and spices, adding an authentic touch to their home cooking.
The ambiance of the restaurant adds to the overall experience. It's clean, welcoming, and authentically decorated, making you feel as if you're dining in a Mediterranean home.
In conclusion, Albaraka Market and Grill is not just a restaurant; it's a culinary experience that takes you on a delightful journey through the flavors of the Mediterranean. Whether you're a fan of shawarma, a lover of grilled delicacies, or simply in search of a new culinary adventure, this is a place that should be on your radar. Highly recommended!
