Amante Pizza and Pasta - Kent

Two of us went for an evening dinner. We both ordered the meat lover's calzone, so I can speak to anything about the variety of tastes.

However, both our calzones were crispy, spicy, cheesy, and piping hot. They were stuffed with bacon, shredded pepperoni, ham, and likes of mozzarella. The top was crispy without the bottom being burnt.

The ambiance was nice and much more classy than the process of ordering. The sign said "seat yourself" but it took a while for the server to wander out with menus. I walked up to place the order since I didn't want to wait for him to get around to it. He was helpful serving the food and keeping tabs on us, but we had to basically ask for everything. So, service might have been authentic even if the food wasn't?

I would definitely go back to try the pizza or chicken Parmesan. Just expect the service to be a little more laid back than proactive.

Food was really good, place was clean, quiet, smelled nice. The waitress was polite, kind, courteous and quick. Food arrived in a timely manner and was presented in an appetizing way. Decent portions for the price considering a burger is nearly twelve dollars these days. Not to mention the flavor is very good. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo, my brother had the Traditional Spaghetti with meat sauce, my father ordered the Sicilian Pizza. I got a Strawberry Lemonade along with it which was a little bit tart. Absolutely lovely restaurant for taking your significant other out on a date.

Just ordered delivery through the Amante Pizza & Pasta website. $1 delivery fee, yes please! The food arrived earlier than the estimated arrival time. The food was still HOT and oh so delicious! (Meat lasagna & cheese bread) I left notes online to please leave food at the door and not to ring bell or knock due to the dogs waking our sick baby and they followed all delivery instructions. So happy that I tried this restaurant out today, will definitely order from here again.

Great pizza. Convenient location. Just make sure you have a high 'available balance' before you arrive. I liked it. I'll go back

As I do with every place I looked at the local reviews, glad I did! I had a fantastic experience here, I didn't know the name of the dish so I showed the picture to the lady and she's like oh yeah it's the tortellini puttanesca. I had them add some extra chicken, I also had a nice slice of all meat pizza while I waited. The food was absolutely delicious! I come to the neighborhood pretty regular, I cannot wait to go back again!

Great pizza place. They also have a variety of Italian food. The pizza was awesome. And the staff was super friendly. Give them a try if you haven’t already!

We love this place and don't really understand why it's not constantly packed!! To be fair, the prices are fairly steep for pizza, but it is absolutely amazing and the ingredients are all the freshest and the best!! We haven't ventured through much of the menu because we found a few pizzas that we loved from the beginning and can't help but order those every time we go in. Seriously, if you want a great pizza with the best ingredients, give them a try! This is by far our favorite pizza place in Washington, and we go at least once every couple weeks since discovering it.

PS- I will say that the service is a bit slow occasionally but they just aren't staffed for a ton of tables since they seem to be fairly slow. The staff is very friendly and courteous if if they play multiple roles in the restaurant. We're always happy with our experience.

One other note though- I did order wine once and haven't since because it was a house wine, I got about 4oz and it was $6. Decided not to have after that again. Not worth it.

This is the best pizza I’ve had since moving to Washington. It is fresh and made to perfection. I usually only eat 2 slices but I was ready to eat 4-5 because I couldn’t stop.

Delicious Italian food. Portion sizes are big and worth every penny. Weekends are happy hour all day! Try the crab dip and gyros or pasta formaggio

Did some takeout for a change of pace on a Wednesday night. Ordered in advance, and received a text that my order was ready the moment I pulled in the parking lot. Picked up Rosemary Chicken Ravioli and a Caesar salad. Staff was friendly and helpful, and I was in & out quickly. The full Caesar salad is HUGE! More than enough for two, and some leftover for small salads with lunch the next day. Ravioli was quite tasty, and portions were substantial. All in all, a very pleasant experience. We’ll be back!

The service was awesome, the food was fantastic, the wine was perfect and the three of us enjoyed ourselves immensely, I would give 10 stars if possible!!!

Man. I'm from Louisiana and it has been sooooooo hard for me to find good FLAVORFUL food since moving here. But this place definitely gets 5 stars!!!!! My pasta was so delicious and very creamy. Loved every bite. And the cheesecake was delicious too. Definitely would recommend to any pasta lovers to try this place. I had the Baked Fettuccini Formagio.😩🙌🏽😍

Only went to pick up an uber eats order but they offered me to sit and gave me a glass of water while I waited

My boyfriend and I don't eat out very often but when we do we get pizza here. Our favorite is the Amante Special.

The gluten free crust is so good that the first time I had it I didn't believe it was gluten free!

The gold standard of pizza. The pies tasted like they were made with love from grandma. Delivery driver was exceptionally nice and arrived on time. You get your money’s worth, the quality of food matches the price.

Not much to say other than the food is GREAT!!! I buy a couple of pizzas every few weeks for my coworkers, we all love it!!
