The FAR Clinic

After 10 years of battling Lyme I had come to the end in 2016. Small victories always followed by spirals downward. Years of antibiotics would get me to a place of functioning followed by the reality it was stil there, taking away my life one day at a time.
It was truly my last resort, nothing to lose decision that said either leave your family and kids to stay in another state and put your life in the hands of a clinic you can only hope holds up their end of the bargain...or die.
In November 2016, I was on a plane to Bountiful, Utah, to a place called the FAR Clinic. After being cared for, understood, motivated, and educated; I was given my life back. Did you hear me? I was given my life back!!!
With three kids that had never known me healthy, a husband that just didn’t understand the suffering but stayed, parents that were worried sick. and a business I was about to sell; I was back. With all the tools to get healthy, stay healthy, and live a new life. The clinic was just a start but they gave me the knowledge I needed to kick the ticks I live among every day to the curb.
It’s almost a year later and I’m getting past the emotional trauma of fighting for my health. But, without the FAR Clinic, I wouldn’t be here today. It’s a no brainer...just go.
It’s the first time in my life I ever thought I might be around for grandkids someday. With three teens I can finally be a mom that enjoys life. What a gift. I’m so thankful. God answered my prayers when I went to Utah.
And it’s not a stuffy environment for processing a number. They are family and I will always love them. Dr Earl, Matt, Haley, Elanda, Rod, Will, and more friends that were there for me each and every step. God bless!! Love you all! Laura
