Cook Out

Cook Out is my favorite fast food joint! The peach cobbler milkshake was awesome. I can't pass up the corn dogs in lieu of french fries. The hush puppies are darn good for fast food, not too awfully greasy. The burgers are better than any other in its class (fast food). And huge variety on the menu.

Diet friendly!!! Kudos for Brandon, he was offering great customer service on a drive through! We asked our huge burger without the bun and he didn’t hesitate to make it work. It was delicious as always.

Overall it's very inexpensive. Service is always fast and food is good. Tip when ordering the pink lemonade, want a big size don't say large ask for Huge as they give you the standard size 22 oz vs 32. Also remember to ask for light ice.

Always been very quick and love the double line. Food and drinks were always top tier. Been coming here since before I can remember and if I had to pick a cookout location to come to for the rest of my life it would be this one.

We're were all satisfied with everything. One of the orders was for a friend from NY and she loved it. As it was a large order there were only a couple mistakes or things left out, but we forgave them because it was such a large order.

The value that you get for the tray is amazing, it does get really busy at peak times but the food is worth the wait. The milkshakes are top tier and are the best around

Fast, efficient, budget friendly, and tastes good. The fact that they seem to be the only food option open late puts them over the top. Bravo!!

When I happened across a Cook Out about 20 yrs ago, I had no intention of being "hooked." I was just in need of food; it had been a long and trying day. Well, I pulled in, and the first item I saw was a BBQ plate or sandwich. I tried the Barbecue sandwich, and I've been "hooked" ever since. Their drive-thru is always busy, but it's moved along pretty well!!

Place is super busy at night when they are one of the few places open. Food was good and price is good.

Wow! I wish we had these in Florida. This is a fantastic burger joint with lots of delicious options that you usually don’t find in a drive through. And the prices are phenomenal! You get your sandwich of choice, two sides and a large drink for only 5.25. You really can’t beat that. And the burgers taste like real beef not cheap and artificial. They have different side choices other than fries like onion rings, cheese curds and chili. Yum! And they have everything from burgers, pulled pork, hotdogs and corn dogs. The service was good and fast. And although everyone customized their burgers every one came out correct which is amazing these days. Follow me on ig @sweet_maloy. This place is affordable, efficient, and tasty. Also, they have cheerwine floats, which I didn't even know existed. Their Big Double Platter, cheddar style, hit the spot. It was the perfect amount of food for me which means it's so much more than enough food for the vast majority of the population.

We ordered food got it about 5 minutes later. I recommend going through the drive thru. The window looked closed when we arrived.

Best original North Carolina fast food chain. You have to try it to know there is a reason for that. There are just so much to choose from on the menu and a lot of ways to combine them to make your own meal. Especially, you have more than 40 choices of milk shakes, ( and probably some secret ones). Try those recipes with cheese cakes 🍰 in them.

Excellent burgers! I wasn't going to stop because they were really busy and I was tired from work but I was also very hungry so I pulled into the extremely long drive through line. I was quickly excited to learn that the line split to 2 different windows. In less than 5 minutes I had my food and was on my way home.

Amazing place, they take good care of their animals and promote a place that is safe for both animals and visitors. The story telling of the animals and how they were rescued enhanced this journey. The tours are small (~20 people) and the guides are very knowledgeable.
