Morgen is the Queen Bey of hair stylists. She is fantastic. Great cuts great conversation great attitude. Always has me cackling in her chair.

I visited today to bring my mom whose a senior in for a lady cut. My mom wears a very low tapered cut and has been struggling to find someone where she lives. I did some local research and read all the amazing reviews about Morgen. It has been hard finding someone who will help with upkeep of my mom's short tapered natural hair cut. She is transitioning out of relaxed hair. I called at opening and Miriam was nice on the phone and told us to stop in.

I also used the app to check in so that we could check to see when Morgen was available. There was no wait at all. Morgen was very kind and personable.
I really like the theme of this franchise. All women hair stylists cutting hair at a man style cave. This shop is equipped with a big screen, sports chairs and a consistent theme. The men who walked out of the shop looked great. Morgen did a excellent job reshaping and cleaning up my mom's hair. Thank You !

Great experience. Have been going there for over 20 years--alternating stylists. Miriam, Jordan, and Julie and everyone else are great.

Morgen is amazing!! She cuts my hair perfect every time. Her personality, sense of humor and the banter between us make me laugh so much the entire time. Everyone there is great. I recommend the store in the Harris Teeter plaza on Edwards Mill Rd as one of the best hair salons I've been to. Thank you Sport Clips!!

I have been going to this Sports Clips for about 8 months and all of the staff is incredible (I have no preference on who cuts my hair because they all do a fantastic job). One of the new hires, Alicia, stood out to me today above anyone I have ever met in how she approaches customer service. Alicia's demeanor and glowing personality made my day a better one.

Excellent holiday haircut and shave! Prompt courteous and professional as always. Left feeling better than when I came.

A girl by the name of Alicia cut my hair young girl very fast and efficient. Awesome place.

Morgen was absolutely the best, I gave her a little description of what I wanted and she was able to add her own style to it and my haircut turned out perfect. Her recommendations really made the difference and we had a great conversation as well!

Aside from that headline, I have 2 points to mention.

1) + (PRO ) The stylist we had, today realized I was concerned about my son's haircut, based on his last too-short haircut (which he got at a different Sports Clips location, about 6 weeks ago). We had a picture of what he wanted his new haircut to look like. She looked at the picture quickly, but carefully, and invited me to stand right next to her while she worked. I did, not for the purpose of supervising her work, I said, but so that I could learn more about how to cut hair, myself.

2) +/- (PRO and CON) The business model of Sports Clips, like most hair salons, relies heavily on upselling. We were very happy with the $24 basic cut (+ tax and tip), but the stylist felt obligated to use an assumption sale process to upsell us into getting a shampoo, blow dry and hot (facial?) cloth treatment. I wasn't upset by that. She was just doing her job, and with a smile. I just pleasantly said, "thanks, but we are happy with just the Great haircut you did," and we walked over to pay, giving her a big tip (see #1, above)

I thought this place catered just to men. I was wrong. I had a wonderful experience and am looking forward to my next cut and face massage.

My 10 year old son LOVES this place and loves getting his haircuts from Morgan! She is so friendly, nice and so good at making my son's hair look 'cool'. He loves the MVP experience and his hair looks awesome afterwards. We've been here for several years now and the quality and consistency of a fantastic experience for him never fails. Love it here!!

Morgen was my barber and she did a great job. She was friendly and professional. She cut my hair just like I wanted her to.

I went in with just a photo and Morgen helped me by making my hair look so amazing!! Her service was absolutely wonderful and she made me smile and laugh a lot! she was such a sweet person, and if you visit here, I highly recommend seeing and tipping her well because you won’t be disappointed!

I do recommend sports clips for anyone. They do a great job really friendly.. Julie was the lady name that cut my hair.. it was my first-time.. I will be back.. steam tower on my face feels so good.. a massaging chair while they shampoo your hair so awesome and a massage you more when you're sitting down and they finishing your hair up. Mvp that's what that was.. it will cost more if I want that next time.. but need a cut check this place out... thanks ray..

Jessica was awesome! She cut my long hair to the short faded hairstyle I wanted to a tee. Will definitely be going back! Very clean environment and she was very nice. Far better than Great Clips EVER was!

You have to ask for Morgen when you visit!! Download the SportClips salon app and check-in online before visiting to guarantee a spot because she gets referrals all day long. She’s been cutting my hair for a few years now and it’s unreal how consistent and efficient she is. She’s always the stylist of the month for good reason!!

So the staff here as of the date if this review are very talented and listen. I always get the full deals and they take their time and listen. As a licensed master cosmetologist I can tell you that is something. I always leave happy. I love them.
