Costco Gas Station

I love how early the gas station opens up at this Costco! Anytime I'm in the area I always drive through pretty early, so being able to still have my membership work for me at 6 am is invaluable! The attendance are always courteous, the gas station is always clean, and by far they have the most competitive gas prices. I have been coming here for years and the opening crew doesn't slack.

This warehouse of Costco is situated in Wake Forest in Raleigh. It is surrounded with many other businesses so if you want small quantities of any item, you can find it within 1 mile area. Well built, self standing building of Costco has many departments. It is like everything under one roof. Has a gas station with almost 12 lines. The time of the warehouse is 10 am to 8 pm. Mon to Satureday, Sunday-10am to 6 pm. Other departments like pharmacy, food court, gas station, hearing center vary in their closing time.. The gas prices here are mostly 0.25 to 0.30 cents cheaper per gallon. So, 10 gallons of gas, everage savings, of $2.50 to $ 3.00 per visit. Huge, free parking lots with many parking spots for handicapes. The shopping carts are always available. This warehouse has many departments like hearing taste center, eyeglass station, (but no Eye doctors available.) There is a sign by the cart storing area with the sign says," Eye Exam" but opthomologist is available only if there is any appointment) flowers and plants, jewelry saction, clothing, food, tires for oto, pharmacy, electronics, and all other household stuff. Everything is good but there is some problem I noticed.
NO SIGN for item on aisle, so you walk through many aisle looking for your item.

MANY PEOPLE AT CHECKOUT station but in the warehouse, no help for customers.
It is a good place for big family or business needs, but for smaller qty, you have to go to other stores. Overall Costco is a good warehouse for fresh products and other household needs. NEEDS YEARLY MEMBERSHIP, I am a member, so I express my experience.

Both of my cars require 93 octane. I have saved as much as one dollar per gallon when compared to north Raleigh prices. The catch of course is the long wait. So I gas up on Sunday morning before having breakfast across the street at First Watch!

It's Costco, if you need a review you may need to get out more. You can buy 55gal of mayo and an 85" TV right after eating a $1. 50 hotdog and drink.

$2.99/gallon for Premium - 93 Octane Gasoline is literally one of the best deals I have ever seen in the entire United States over the past few years. I travel frequently across many different states, and this is truly the best price I’ve found anywhere. Some Costco locations in other states will only be $0.30 Cents cheaper than normal gas stations surprisingly, and are not even worth the wait sometimes. Trust me, no one should be complaining about the wait time at this location to save $1.30 per gallon over the BP across the street, or a full $3.00 per gallon cheaper than California prices, for example. (Which makes no sense considering they literally produce oil in California itself.)

Change nothing about this Costco location! This is what America is supposed to be about; reasonable, fair prices instead of price gauging simply based on the demand. Plus, they have several workers always nearby assisting customers, just like an old fashioned station. (For all the people who try to pay with Mastercard most likely, Costco only accepts Visa) There’s a pro-tip for ya. 😂

Safe environment, 5-6 car line typically

The lines are pretty much long unless you’re there first thing in the morning or 15 min before closing. Gas (especially premium) is always cheaper than other gas stations around. I have found that Sheetz has matched their price on occasion but Costco consistently delivers low prices. Also their gas is good, it doesn’t knock for me and I get good power output from their premium.

Always the lowest price around. I feel like they check for scm card readers and protect their customers on the pay equipment on the pumps . Highly recommend.

I always come to get gas here, the price and quality you can’t beat. The line gets out of control at certain times if the day but it’s expected with the price and quality being what it is.

Always the best gas price in the neighborhood. I also love their long hoses which allows it to fill from any of the dispenser.

Usually the best gas prices in town. You’ll have to wait a few minutes in line unless you go really late or really early. The station is always clean and attendants on duty.

Great spot but always packed

Costco really knows how to deal with long lines at the gas pumps! This is important know with higher gas prices as members want to save anywhere they can. I filled up a week ago at Costco on a Saturday afternoon. Even with 7 cars in front of me, I was only in line about 12 min.

Good food and nice bath room

Gas is significantly cheaper than other spots. Attendants are very friendly! They’re willing to help anyone who needs assistance at the gas station. The only downside of the gas station is they don’t have windshield cleaning stations but that would slow down efficiency and make the lines too long!
