So far I have had something to eat inside the restaurant and outside of the tiki bar. I'm very happy with the new menu. The atmosphere has always been welcoming and the staff has always been amazing. I have had the chicken Caesar wrap. The bean burger. The entree grilled steak. And all been delicious.

We had a great experience at Coconut Charlie’s! Went in an hour before close, the staff were all super kind and made sure the adults and kids in our party were well taken care of. Husband ordered the pasta with shrimp and loved it, we also ordered the chicken Caesar salad and a kids quesadilla and it was all great. Drinks from the bar were delicious as well. Would recommend, especially if you’re staying at the Double Tree already and looking for an easy meal right in the building!

By far the best food you will have in this area. We had the black bean burger and catch of the day tacos (mahi-mahi) and they were both phenomenal. Service is quick, the food took less than 10 minutes to come out, and the prices are very fair. Could not recommend this place enough. Not to mention you’re right on the ocean!

Great location, food is awesome! Wish we were able to get the local discount or the Mango Membership again!

We had lunch at this beach bar and grill located in the Doubletree during a recent stay. If you’re looking for a beautiful beachside restaurant directly on the beach, then this is the place to go. With great weather and shaded umbrellas on the patio (with plenty of outdoor seating), it was a perfect setting. Prices were typical of the location on the beach in a hotel - pricier than usual, but not overly priced. The food was good too - we ordered a fresh catch sandwich (salmon), coconut shrimp and fish and chips. We had no complaints about any of the food, and they were prepared well. Our waitress was also great in that she was friendly and nice. Our only complaint is that there was a bit of a wait for everything, from getting drinks to getting our food and getting refills. The place wasn’t too busy either, so just be prepared to wait and be patient. Overall, we had a great experience and would be back!

Went on the opening day so giving them some slack because they are still working things out. We are locals and we were super excited to finally have something different than Mangos (which was just blah). They did a great job at renovating, it has a new fresh beachy vibe that I love. Having said that, menu looked very similar to Mangos and food tasted average at best. Regular beach fare with not much flavor. We had high hopes of a better restaurant where we could get nice seafood options and more variety. Would love to see fresh fish, variety of burgers, even a good chicken sandwich. Bang bang shrimp came out looking grey and tasted undercooked (around $16). Chicken pasta at a whooping $23 was definitely overpriced. Cuban sandwich ($15) was same average as they had at Mangos. Cocktails $14, so so. It all comes back to the view, it is gorgeous and earned an extra star on my review. I don't see us visiting often until food improves. We live right across and would love a GH/ locals discount. Our crew would be there all the time if they had better food and the discount. Most people there today were from GH and all said the same thing.

Very limited menu and the food was good but not great, however the atmosphere, location and staff are wonderful. Daniel came back from mangoes and he's always been a great server. Going to watch for updates to see if they add more dinner entrees and gluten friendly options - they are very good about accommodating food allergies so we greatly appreciate that!

Place just opened and still has some kinks to iron out. Ordered my food for take out at 5:58pm and did not receive it until 6:50pm. That was okay cause I watched the sunset. (Great view of the gulf.) Ordered the boom boom shrimp with came with the island slaw (😋 yumm), coconut rice, and fiesta salad. The salad was disappointing, couldn't tell if the lime vinaigrette was on it at all but suspect it was missing with how dry the salad was. I ended up mixing the island slaw from the boom boom shrimp appetizer in qnd that fixed the issue. Coconut shrimp was really good too. Wont eat there qgain this trip but it was covienent my first night of my trip.

Wow! What a downgrade from Mangos! Limited expensive menu….food quality mediocre . Fish and chips $19 ,( take a look at my photo! ). Until hotel guest go elsewhere…….corporate won’t change their minds. Sad transition.

Good thing! Servers still are wonderful!

Waited an hour and forty five minutes for a cheeseburger . My wife had a rice bowl . Tables were served before ours. I should have brought a pillow . Great bar and view . Don't eat here .

Waiter was very slow and confused and the new menu is not good. We had a table of 5 and had 5 different menu items and none of those items compared to the old menu. Tiki chips, great salads, and pretzels sticks were the best w the old menu. Will not frequent this place as I have in the past unless they improve on the food.
