Mexican Bakery El Buen Pan

Again, another amazing job on our daughters birthday cake and the tamales to top it off we’re soooooo good. Best cakes around here and I’m never disappointed and they never say they can’t or won’t do what the picture looks like that I bring. This was our 3rd one where I brought in a picture and they did a fantastic job. Thank you so much. See you soon when we come for bread and other goodies.

I stopped by El Buen Pan today. El Buen Pan is a Mexican Bakery located at 1040 S Pendleton Street in Easley. El Buen Pan isn’t just a bakery they have savory items as well as cakes, pastries, croissants, cookies, churros and different types of breads. Some of their savory items are Carnitas, Costilla Asada, Pollo Rostizado and Tamales. There’s also coffee, juices and soft drinks as well. I went in today for churros, no luck today the lady at the front told me they will have them in the morning. I didn’t want to leave empty handed so I got the Tres Leches Strawberry Shortcake. The cake is two slices of vanilla cake with a strawberry filling in between the layers, topped with whipped cream a strawberry glaze on top, sitting in a milk mixture. The cake was delicious and a really nice size, enough for two people. I’m eating it in stages. Stop by El Buen Pan Mexican Bakery if you’re in Easley, I’m going back for those churros!!

Stopped by the bakery at 4:45 today OCTOBER 30, 2023, to pick up a tres Leches cake for a co worker. The door rang to notify them that some one had walked in. I was never waited on, my phone rang, I answered it and had a conversation with my sister. No one ever acknowledged that I was there, I waited at least 15 minutes, it won't happen again.

After reading some reviews, We decided to check this establishment out. I've been to a couple of Mexican bakeries over in Greenville, and I'm glad this one is here in Easley! The pastries are so good! We tried a variety and enjoyed each one.
But! What I really enjoyed is their food menu! That is definitely worth a stop all by itself. Roasted chicken looked great. We tried the ribs....and wow....so good! Slightly crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, yum! Also had a torta (sandwich), and I also enjoyed that. They have several choices of those. And not to be left out...tamales! There's chicken, pork, and veggie. The pics are ribs and the torta. There is no seating for dining, but you could definitely get lunch or supper to go here.

It was due time for a visit to Mexican bakery el buen pan in Easley. Such a gem!! I always feel like a kid in a candy store here because they have sooo many freshly-baked goodies to choose from…even bagged chicharrones. I love snacking on those things.

Did you know that you can also order food to-go from the counter? El Buen Pan has different tamale varieties, meats by the pound (good for your own taco nights), and tortas. The tortas are made fresh to order using the bolillo bread that they bake themselves.

I got the La Buena torta: breaded steak, hot dog, cheese. So delicious!!! And so flavorful!! I’m usually not a fan of jalapeños but these add much needed heat to meld all the flavors together. And..that bread. 😍 It’s crusty on the outside and it has that perfect soft interior. Definitely my favorite part of the torta. 🤤

I know we joke about how many Mexican spots there are in Easley but this is a unique spot that can’t be missed.

Their tres leches cake is stellar! Visited for the first time today, will be back to try the roasted meats. Very nice mom n pop bakery, friendly owners. She said they will take cake orders for celebrations.

Authentic Mexican bread and foods. Yummy tamales and bread. I buy la abuelita chocolate bars next door and make hot chocolate to go with my bread 😋 yum

I love el buen pan! They serve conchas (Mexican sweet bread) and a variety of different pastries! They also sell cooked carnitas, chicken, and ribs, tamales, and tortas! I 100% that you stop by and pick up a concha pair it with some hot chocolate or some coffee they are addicting 😍

Absolutely 💯 love this bakery. Have been here more times than I probably should have lol and every time it has been amazing!!! When the have the doughnuts covered in sugar and filled with cream... to die for

This bakery was new to me. I do like Mexican pastries. The bakery was very clean. They keep a nice variety to select from. Mexican flavors are different so be prepared for some new flavors. Guava is often called strawberry as being the closest familiar American flavor to guava. The pastries were good and the cakes look fantastic. The folks there were friendly and helpful. If you are not familiar with Mexican baked goods this is a good place to start. I recommend Mexican Bakery. Give it a try.

I was visiting from New York and we got a tres leches cake for a birthday celebration and it was amazing. Their other baked goods also looked amazing. I missed the tamales while I was there, so I can't wait to come back and try them!

Muy bien! Nice little place, with a nice selection.
Would be nice if there were names on each pastry to know thr names of what you are getting. Empanadas, Danish de queso, some sort of custard with raisins, donuts and cream filled pastries were all great.

¡Las mejores Tres Leches y Pasteles! Very nice and clean shop, with a great selection of pastries and cakes as well. Great quality at a good price that can’t be beat. I recommend this bakery to anyone who likes any sort of sweets, or who is looking to try! ¡Muchas Gracias y regresaré pronto!

Finally made it over here and was not disappointed!! We bought several pastries and of course a slice of tres leches and they were all amazing. I wish everything inside was labeled so I didn't have to ask the gentleman who worked there what everything was 🤣🤣 he was super kind and answered all my questions. Prices are really nice too 👍 can't wait to go back for some tortas 😍❤

This place has seriously good pastries! Definitely try them because id like to see them stick around. I honestly don't know what I got because I speak very little Spanish but its like a sugar donut with a custard filling and I already want to go back tomorrow. Super good!

Everything here is really good. About as close to authentic Mexican pan, tamales y pan dulce. We drive all the way from Greenville to get our pan dulce and tamales from here. Definitely ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love this bakery. The items are so good, and their displays are beautiful. Very friendly staff and enjoy seeing new items being added. We will continue to be regular customers.

Bought 4 different pastries and wow, they were delicious. Coffee was good too. Look forward to stopping by every time I’m in the area. Highly recommended.
