I love the people and the atmosphere at Gillman Subaru. This place did not charge a premium over MSRP. That was very important to me to fit my budget.

TIP! When you talk to your dealership, ask them the total price before you invest a lot of time there, only to find out it's gonna cost more than you expected. The places that start with a T and end with a yota would not come off of a $3000 upcharge. That was very discouraging.

I had a personal salesperson duo of Chelsa Scott and Chris. Sorry Chris, it's like midnight and I don't remember your last name. I'll catch it in an edit. They, and the entire team at Gillman, were very laid back, and gave no pressure to do anything. In fact, I never got the feeling that I was talking to sales.

The perks of buying a Subaru surprised me as well. I'm a do my own maintenance guy. But the maintenance like oil changes are included for the first 2 years. I didn't know this until after the purchase.

Then the dreaded extended warranty sales pitch came. I had time to do my research. And to my surprise, the internet is in favor of the 10 year 100k mile warranty. I couldn't find hardly any complaints about it but there are plenty of praises for it. And yes, one repair will most likely pay for the extra.

As far as the Crosstrek I purchased. I love it.
I love the safety features, the driving experience and the creature comforts. Did you know that the blind spot warning system actually judges the speed of the car coming up behind you, and if they are driving considerably faster, it warns you so you don't change lanes in front of the assh***, I mean, the very important driver that thinks he owns the road.

The adaptive cruise control is awesome. It even will stop for you when the car in front stops. I'm getting spoiled.

Trust me, I could go on. But I think I'll save some for the edits as this relationship grows. I feel quite confident that the edits will be positive. After all, if you find a good thing, you want to share it, right?

Love coming here for service on our vehicle. Jermaine and Don are our regular service guys and they are both phenomenal. Don gave us a stellar recommendation for a paint guy, and Jermaine really hooked us up with an awesome detail company. Jermaine was super personable and you can tell really passionate about cars. Don and Jermaine always make sure we're all taken care of and that our service needs are always yo to date. Highly recommend both of these guys. Wish I knew the names of those operating behind the curtains, because they're really professional and great people too.

No dealership service department is perfect, but I feel these guys and gals are honest and are doing a great job. My service manager Don is a great guy and really earned my respect. They diagnose and let you know exactly what's wrong without trying to pressure you into anything. I will definitely return.

I really want to give this dealership, team and product the recognition it deserves. When I tell you that I hate car buying...I really mean it, so going into this I was already anxious with anticipation of the pressure to buy. BUT, it was everything but a bad experience. From the start we were able to enjoy walking around, look at cars and really get our steps in. About ten minutes in we were greeted by the manager and Audrey, my now favorite car professional to work with. Audrey answered our questions and got us in the two cars for a test drive right away. We had it narrowed down to the Outback and Ascend, but quickly the Outback moved into the top spot. Audrey let us enjoy the test drive and take in the stellar radio quality [volume] (my husband's #1 things to test on cars)...sorry Audrey. :-) From there we knew that just "looking" at cars for the day was quickly going to change, and we started working through the scenarios, because in all honestly we didn't need to buy a car, I had a great one, but we both knew that this was a car I wanted and for future planning we were in a good spot to trade. Each step was so seamless and we never felt pressure at any point to make the deal. Finally we got to an agreement and started the process. Now this is the part that in the past I would dread, filling out paperwork, answering questions...all the above. Guess what, it wasn't at all like that, yes it takes time, but honestly I didn't feel like I was signing my life away and each step was explained clearly. Between the beginning of the "I accept" to the "what coverage do you want" (I'll get to that one) I was able to talk with what I equate as the Subaru brand ambassador. We talked through the car, what Subaru does for team members and buyers, and set up an appointment to really go through all the nooks and crannies of the car. Haven't had that appointment yet, but looking forward to it. Then it came time for the real signing your name a million times and again the team member was great...and honest...yes honest. Honest about his car and his experiences, along with the "what coverage do you want." By the way, go ahead and get the windshield coverage. Yes, I'm writing this post after two weeks of owning the car and getting back from a road trip...where a rock chipped the front windshield. I'll save the "I told you so" look and conversation from my husband, but just go ahead an get it. :-) All in all, I love the car, we very much enjoyed our experience with Gillman Subaru and ask for Audrey if you go to check out a car. Like I said before, I don't want to go to another dealer or get a different make and model. I'm Subaru loyal for life now, so our kids better enjoy the car because it's what they get when I get a new outback. :-)

Audrey was our sales person, she was fantastic! She was upfront, patient, and professional. She made sure we got the vehicle we wanted, she even brought a car from Houston (that we didn’t get) just so we can see it. Really awesome and stress free experience. Would highly recommend Gillman Subaru and of course Audrey as your sales person!

Great experience and they exceeded our expectations. We purchased a used Forester for our son in Denver and they were able to meet all our requests. They “put their money where their mouth is” when it comes to supporting and taking care of military AND teachers! Most places offer military and first responder discounts, but very few honor teachers as well; THEY DID. We would buy another car there any time!

Just got my Subaru Crosstrek yesterday and I love it. Daniel B. was my sales person and he made the experience not only painless but enjoyable as well!
