Catfish Campus Restaurant

Today was the first time I went to Catfish Campus as I have been craving a good catfish meal. The catfish is outstanding and cooked perfectly! Received a huge meal with 2 sides, abundant delicious hush puppies and a really good green tomato relish. I usually don't eat hush puppies or tomatoes but I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor of both. Very fairly priced for the amount of food received.

The service was outstanding and my server was very friendly and accommodating.

The restaurant inside could use some updating and not much atmosphere but the food well makes up for it. Will definitely be returning!

Had oyster dinner, hush puppies, coleslaw, ff potatoes. Was accompanied with pickle tomatoes, all were delicious 😋. Service was flawless and the restaurant had a very friendly atmosphere. Prices were very reasonable. Oysters were prepared to perfection, was impressed by the preparation of the food and the service. Will be a return visit.
Great to have a facility of this caliber in this area.

The one thing that keeps me coming to Catfish Campus is their level of "Consistency & Quality"

They are one of few restaurants that still has affordable prices to be able to dine and get some really good food. I ordered the Fish and chicken meal with White beans and Cole Slaw. (Delicious 😋)The homemade hush puppies are So good, especially with the sweet pickles they bring out.

Visiting here feeds my nostalgic cravings for southern good food...
The lunch specials are very affordable and will be worth being late returning to work 😂😆😂

The catfish here is tough to beat. Just wish there were a couple more on the the plate for the price! The hush puppies & pickled tomatoes are a fantastic starter. The Mac n cheese was a little too runny, but overall it didn't detract from a positive experience of the entire meal. Buttering both sides of Texas toast is the ONLY acceptable way to serve it, so kudos to the back of the house for knowing how to get it done right. Service and wait times were very reasonable.

Pleasantly surprised at this little gem in Columbia. We were passing through and were in the mood for Catfish. Not often do we find a place where we enjoyed every single thing we ordered. Catfish and chicken tenders were excellent. Hot and fresh. Hushpuppies were the best we have eaten in years. Perfect! (Not heavy, not greasy. Cooked perfectly!) Green beans and coleslaw were great too. Loved the pickled green tomatoes! (New one for us!)
Our waiter got our order right, brought all the little extras we asked for on the first try. He did a good job! Wait time a little long, but worth it as the food was hot and fresh. Atmosphere was nothing special. But the food was. 👍👍

Overall I'd give it a 9/10. Nice job, guys!

Best way to describe it is WOW!.....This is our third time here while traveling to and through Columbia, TN. Never disappointed! Food is excellent, plentiful and reasonably priced. Service is friendly, efficient and quick. Whenever we are here or even near here, it is and will continue to be our go to place 😊

I would go out of my way to get these fried pickles again

One of the best places for seafood that I have eaten at in awhile. It was plain and simple no frills but well worth the trip. Catfish, codfish and crab cakes side vegetables baked potatoes, green beans, marinated green tomatoes, slaw just to name a few. Steak and chicken entries as well as sandwich combinations. Finished off with key lime pie. I'm working in this area and will be revisiting this restaurant again.

Great food great people there was several people in our party and all the food came out together was all correct and good some of us had fish and some had steaks. Everyone food was great and hot when brought out. Thank You to everyone there.

A regular stop. Love the friendly staff and great service. I can't get enough of the pickled green tomatoes. Always great food. I ordered the three piece catfish, fries and corn. Plenty of hush puppies, of course. I'm not a fan of the tarter sauce. You can't go wrong here.

Service was quick and very attentive. Waiter was polite and accommodating. Food was hot, fresh, cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Casual, comfortable and we will definitely be back!

My favorite place to visit while I'm in Columbia. Family owned and operated. Food is fantastic! Hushpuppies are a personal fav.

Great catfish, best potato salad I have ever had! The best unlimited hush puppies! Dont go here if you're on a diet. Lol. Great food!! VERY good service! I'll be going back with my husband!

We went here for a wedding dinner and it was great. Service was great food was good. Had clean restrooms.

We haven't eaten here since before the pandemic. So we decided it was time to give it a try again. And are we ever so glad we did. We were seated immediately, the food was all hot & delicious, it came out quickly, our server was friendly as could be, as well as right on top of anything else we needed. And I have to mention how pleasently surprised I was with their post pandemic prices when compared to how expensive all the fast food places have gotten. (Don't act like the rest of y'all haven't noticed how ridiculously expensive a drive-thru garbage burger meal is these days) Why would we want to go eat that garbage when we can get a lot better meal here for the same money?

The waitress was very friendly and efficient food was excellent I defiantly would recommend it it's a little pricy but worth it
