Southern BBQ

Hubby and I came here for lunch and it was great! Smoked chicken sandwich was amazing and generous portions. Loved I could get a salad side, homemade croutons we great! Husbands BBq brisket and Mac n cheese were good too! Topped off with free ice cream 👍👍

Good lean sliced brisket with good bbq sauce. Sides were good too, mac ‘n cheese and green beans. Soft rolls. Enjoyed the peach cobbler with complimentary vanilla soft serve ice cream.

Only been a couple times, but the employees are very nice & the food really good.

Edit: Me & my hubby went again today & it was soo good! Tried the baked potato for the first time & was soo worth all the extra calories. (I’m getting old & calories matter now 😜) the only thing I can criticize is them making us get more then one drink to share. We always get one large drink to share between ourselves. We rarely get a refill. Being told that we can’t share a drink is a bit unpleasant. We are here for the food, not the drinks.

Amazing food! It's a cute little family owned establishment with very friendly staff. The second you walk in and you smell the flavor in the air you will KNOW your in a great place to eat! So much to choose from for selections I will absolutely go again when in the area!

Loaded fries...yum! Brisket, bacon, cheese, ranch... What's not to like?? Probably the best restaurant in Sanger!

I stopped at Southern BBQ to meet my friend for lunch. I had the 2-meat plate combo, with pulled pork and brisket, mama's mac and cheese, and loaded mashed potatoes. The portions of meat were generous, the bbq sauce was tasty, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

BBQ was really good. Sides were good and organized well and the place was very clean overall.

Loved it, I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and medium onion rings and a small coke. It was great BBQ. It is a need to try at least. These other reviews I read before going today and I have not experienced any of the bad things they are saying. The Onion rings are my favorite there, they were a little burnt but still really good. Thank You!

This place is fantastic! Not only is their BBQ and food so yummy (we eat here every week), but we really enjoy the friendly, down-to-earth staff too! My 3yo and 1yo eat great here as well. The kids meals and daily specials are great! The restaurant is very clean, has a pleasant atmosphere, and the owners make a huge effort to serve the people of Sanger and the surrounding area with wonderful service. We will be returning regularly!

Ribs where immaculate and meat was falling off the bone. Everything was freshly cooked/fried when my family got it, and the staff was very friendly throughout the entire experience. Over all its probably one of the best bbq places I've ever eaten at. Definitely coming back sooner than later.

This place is a Best Kept Secret. It doesn’t matter if you order at open or shortly before close the food is fresh. The sliced brisket is always amazing. Mustard potato salad is delicious. Hard working people serving quality food. This place is must try for those who have not..

Came from out of town and just happened to drive by. Friday night and we got our food very quickly! Fair priced and it was delicious!! Great portions too, we had extras to take with us. Love finding small family owned business's!
