la Madeleine

Friendly service and the food tastes great. I think they could do better on portions with the crepes. It had plenty of filling but the crepes were tiny. Crepe batter doesn't cost much. I can understand skimping on the filling, strawberries, or Nutella, but not crepes. I remember ordering this a few years ago and it filled the plate. Not worth $9+ even with inflation. What's pictured was the full-size price, but a kid-size portion. If I order a meal, I expect to feel satisfied with a portion I'm given. This did not deliver. (I don't need to be full or stuffed to feel satisfied.)

My favorite La Madeleine! Great ambiance, though I wish for the fireplace. Cozy spot for lingering over coffee on a rainy morning. Croissants so delicious! Bottomless cup. Wish I l8ved closer to this La Madeleine!

Friends and I were going to another breakfast restaurant. There was a 30 minute wait so we decided to go to la Madeleine instead which was a few stores down from the original restaurant. Lucky us. You can order custom made omelettes, fruit plates, croissants, breakfast sandwiches and an assortment of pastries. The food was well made and tasty. The omelettes were large! The servers were nice. The atmosphere was great. We sat in front of the lit fireplace which was very comfy since it was a cold rainy day. Recommend.

Wonderful atmosphere, professional and caring staff and phenomenal food! Tomato basil soup and cold salad are so good! Friand was fabulous! I'll be back!

The crepes and bacon sandwiches were both really good!

Very god food but the cafeteria style ordering was a little slow and confusing to the staff as they got our food wrong three times. I highly recommend the tomato basil soup and the croissant sandwich.

I grew up in Dallas, and La Mad is one of my favorite places to go when I visit home. Everything in their sampler is amazing. I'm obsessed with the chicken Caesar dressing, the quiche Lorraine, the tomato basil soup and the raspberry lemonade. Highly recommended

I enjoyed the crepes La Madeline! Cozy atmosphere with a fireplace provided a nice lunch on a cold day.

I wish to commend James, the Manager, at the La Madeline on Northwest Highway in Dallas, Texas.

It is always special for me when I get a chance to dine at La Madeline, it is my favorite restaurant of any and I have been a dedicated customer for many years!

Its an absolute delight to enjoy the delicious food but it is fabulous when the service and the management are as stellar as the food...and James, the manager, provides that 10 star professionalism, attention to detail and takes the time to really show he cares about his customers and in this writing, me!

I wish the La Madeline Corporation and all customers who read this to know the tremendous asset that James is to the restaurant!!! He is tops, as well as Brennen, who also assisted in helping me!

It is my honor that I share my sincere commendation and expression of gratefulness to James, his team and his location for being the best of the best!

My breakfast was good. Very tasty.

Love this location. The food is always tasty and consistant. I recently walked in an made a large Togo order. I was a bit nervous to not check it while there, but I was in a hurry. Everything was perfect. Down to the extras and even plastic ware.

Love the bakery and shrimp pasta. Just space kinda small. They're only 1 big table if you have a big group to sit inside.

Food and atmosphere was great as always. We wanted the potato Patty and there was only one . When brought to me I realized it was way too crunchy for my grandson, now I would have enjoyed it but he couldn't handle it, so they offered to exchange it with something else. Yet when the others were cooked and ready the COOK came and told me a fresh batch was ready. Just love eating there .

My husband used to work here many many years ago. Still chats with a former co worker who still works there.
Love the food. Could just eat the baguette and jam lol. Especially love the tarts. I get the lemon and fruit tarts. My husband loves the chicken salad sandwich. They used to have a pasta dish he liked but they stopped serving it.
It’s a nice little diner date to sit and talk and relax.

Like all la Madeleine bistros it was clean and inviting with it's traditional French ambience. I was placing a take out order and requested that the meals be packaged small and watertight as I drive a motorcycle and carry everything in my pack.
I'm happy to say they did a wonderful job and should be commended for their attentiveness and service.

Always have a good time when I go here, staff is friendly when the food is good. I do miss the spinach bouchette but which they took off the menu. The atmosphere is always nice makes me feel like I've gone to France.
