Wingate by Wyndham DFW / North Irving

For the type of hotel this is, it's really quite nice. I got booked here by American Airlines due to a missed connection. It appears to be recently renovated and is very clean. Check in was quick and signing up for the complementary shuttle was easy.

They surprisingly had a bar and sold actual meals for dinner (places like this usually just have a snack bar and soft drinks).

Breakfast was meh, but free continental breakfasts usually are. All in all a very good experience for a hotel of this caliber.

My American Airlines flight was delayed, and they provided me with a meal voucher & stay at this hotel. Front desk staff was great and very polite. Rooms are actually very nice and clean, and they were kind enough to ask if I needed a shuttle service for the morning. Breakfast not many choices.

Got put up here by american airlines after my flight was cancelled. Fried chicken sándwich and fries was good, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was nice, staff was helpful. Nothing to complain about really, i was skeptical but it was a nice stay.

We had an issue with a flight and were put up at this hotel by our airline.

I definitely recommend this hotel. The front desk staff is efficient and kind. The restaurant is super easy to order from and the food came out quickly. (FYI- we ordered at the front desk. There is an outdoor area with picnic tables to eat in addition to places inside.)

There is a cute and spacious nook to just hangout that my teenagers appreciated.

The gym has dumbbells, a bar + 10lb, 20lb and 25lb weights, treadmill, bike, water and a band machine. Plenty for a decent workout while traveling.

As I was in the lobby, I realized that quiet a few of the guests while checking in were chatting and laughing. That is a direct reflection of the atmosphere that the front desk creates. They naturally destress weary travels by being competent and just friendly. It’s nice. Highly recommend this spot.

TLDR: clean rooms, good food, friendly staff, tooth brushes and toothpaste are in containers sitting at the front desk. No need to ask.

Had an overnight layover dues to issues from American Airlines. They provided a voucher to use at one of 3 hotels and this was by far the best of the options offered. Shuttle for me was fast and easy to use/schedule and is 24/7. Staff was friendly, even had free toothbrushes and toothpaste at the front desk. Clean room & comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet had eggs, bacon, potatoes, yogurt, coffee, apple juice, yogurt, cereal and a few fresh fruits etc. Great variety for a hotel breakfast and it was good. Room had everything you could need including an iron and hairdryer. Only complaint I have is that there was no water in the mini fridge and no water even in the keurig. There isn’t a water fountain either. Location was good as there is a dennys near by (told they take the AA meal vouchers) and a gas station.

I usually don’t stay on this hotel brand, but have to say that the experience here was great, will definitely consider them if I’m ever back in the area.

Great hotel! The location is not too far from the airport. Our flight out of DFW was canceled due to weather, and we needed to find a hotel. Rooms were very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. A really good fact to note that they have a free shuttle service to and from the airport.

Booked a room using an American airlines voucher. Clean room, nice bed nothing fancy. You will not be disappointed. Take rest and move on.

The rooms were really nice and spacious. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. There’s a 7 Eleven witching short walking distance that’s very convenient in case you need anything last minute, but the hotel is stocked with basic amenities should you require anything. There’s also a bar and restaurant located inside— it’s super close to DFW airport and Dallas proper is only a short Uber/Lyft ride away.

Staff was really friendly and attentive. Will definitely stay here again should I ever find myself in Dallas again!

Loved it! We stayed at this hotel due to an American Airlines flight missed connection in Dallas Airport. Since the beginning, the shuttle driver gave thorough explanation on hotel amenities, flight, gates and shuttle service where extremely helpful, he addressed all our questions during the ~5 min ride to the hotel. The hotel is very clean and renovated, has a small but very complete gym and a super relaxing patio with wooden tables outside. The dinner was DELICIOUS, we ordered tacos (salsas were fantastic), fries and grilled chicken garden salad. Would definitely recommend for airport stays! Service was great throughout our stay

Flight was delayed by AA. I gotta tell you guys, LiL Kim at AA was AWESOME! In handling my delayed flight. LiL Kim is an example of what superb customer service should be across all airlines. Lil Kim at AA had me a hotel stay and a meal voucher. Once again LiL Kim thank you very very much!👍🏼hotel itself was great as well, thank you guys.

Stayed here because of a mechanical problem on a plane. Missed connections to 2nd plane. Airlines put us up here for night. Room was excellent, very clean. Personnel very friendly. Airport shuttle was running behind due to others missing flights. But, made it to hotel OK.
Was able to get something to eat at night via arrangements at front desk. Shuttle was on time to take us back to airport next morning.

The hotel itself was great. Made reservations online before my flight, and when I got there, the host was very welcoming, and quickly had my key ready despite it being after 2am.

The shuttle from the airport, which the hotel provided, never arrived. Therefore, I had to find my own transportation after waiting over an hour. I was told there were many canceled or delayed flights and that the driver was doing the best he could.

Actually was not expecting the rooms to be this nice! Super clean, comfortable, well-lit bathroom. Did the sleep and park deal. Really good value!

I must say, my stay was very nice. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with smiles and welcomes. They have a bar and restaurant that was open till midnight. I had the garden salad (without chicken) which was big and full of mixed greens, carrots, cucumbers and tomatoes. It did cost $14, but the convenience of not going out was nice.

Breakfast: eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast, pancakes, cereal, fruit and much more. 4 different kinds of juice and good HOT coffee.

I would definitely stay here again. Coming by myself, I felt very safe.

I travel a lot as a flight attendant. I usually stay in company selected hotels. But this one I choose! They treat me like family and make me feel welcome every time! The rooms are spacious, always spotless and have all the amenities I need! I’m even an upper level member of another chain’s loyalty program, but I choose here!
And a great night sleep in the comfy bed!

I have been coming here for a few years now about once a month for work. The rooms are always extremely clean. The upgrades that they have recently done, are outstanding and quite an improvement. Check-in is a breeze with very friendly service. Transportation to, and from the hotel is Also a great accommodation,

I love staying here, it feels like home away from home.

Put up here by airline, glad they did. This hotel is punching above its weight (price) staff was super nice, room was fab. Great TV (channels not just sports or a weird mix, great to wind down). Even room coffee was fine. Close to airport. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
