Uncommon Church

Watched online for a couple months. Kept looking for a church "home" Pastor Brad speaks truth (WORD) with a great deal of knowledge. Started Growth track...seeking Identity in Jesus.
Know him, Grow in him, and Do (action) showing God's love for all people!

One of the best churches in the Dallas-Fort Worth area if you are looking for a spirit filled and God inspiring worship service. Pastor Brad and Josie Carignan are a dynamic couple who have spent many years in ministry preaching and teaching overseas in both Israel and Wales, UK after spending time at the Pensacola Revival School of Ministry in Pensacola, FL. They are strong supporters of Israel, family and missions which makes this a great church to be a part of. Since I have personally known Pastor Brad and Josie Carignan for many years I highly recommend them and their church family.

I drive all the way from Plano just to attend. Pastor Brad tells it like it is. They are non denominational, bible believing and non judgemental. Come as you are church!

I really had a great time at this church. The Holy Spirit is absolutely moving and present at this church. This a bible based church with diversity and no drama. Everyone was nice, and inviting. I felt very comfortable for my first time there. I would highly recommend visiting this church!

Really good first impression, it's just the right size for my preference. I feel like I know about 10 people already after one visit, when I'm usually lucky to meet one person on the a first visit.

They feel real, offer many options for getting involved (eg. a bike group), and everyone we met was local, so it feels like a neighborhood church.

My only suggestion would be investing in acoustic foam or something to reduce echo at some point.

I’ve been to church all my life in several areas of our country. This church is definitely Uncomon. Doesn’t matter what you wear or how many tattoos you have or how short your skirt might be whatever your previous religion was it’s all welcome. The praise and worship is powerful. The preaching and the good news of Jesus and the word of God is real straight out of the Bible no manipulation of The word of God. The people are friendly warm excepting in there with a helping hand when you need it. This is not only my house of worship at these people in my family. You’re welcome to serve very quickly after join our church. There are mission opportunities they’re open to anyone in the church she wants to go. And that’s important to me. I am no longer left out because I don’t have a college degree in theology. I am excepted and I belong here and that’s a good feeling

As a first time guest it was very difficult to find a seat (which is a good thing!) there were a lot of “reserved” seating and sections of seating blocked off so our group that we brought with us had to seat apart. On a positive note I would 100% come again and would recommend this church to anyone. We felt very welcomed. Worship was great and you could feel Gods present in the atmosphere.

Come here to learn more about God--or to get right with God. This is a welcoming church that loves people and believes in the power of the Holy Spirit.

I have seen this church give money to people out of the blue. One day the pastor asked for all the single mothers to stand up. It was not Mother’s Day or anything. Then he asked the Ushers to hand them all checks for $250. Just gave it to them they didn’t ask for it but he is sensitive to the needs of the people in the congregation. It is not the first time things like that have happened in this church. I myself had to have surgery was down for a few weeks somebody from church brought me dinner pretty much every night and they also gave me a gift card for Uber eats on the days someone was an able to come.. I did not have to ask for this assistance they knew I would need it and they just set it all up. My dad was healed of cancer of the lung!

Uncommon church feels like home, no doubt that’s because we are citizens of heaven and the presence of God is in this place. Strong bible teaching from the pastors, always pointing us to Jesus in every message.

Great atmosphere and friendly people. The Pastor is honest and biblically driven. I Would recommend this church to new and matured Christians. The life group's really help you get to know people and growth track is a great way to get involved. If you can't make it on sundays they even have livestreams to watch on their website. I love this church!

I've never been to a more Loving and Friendly place of Worship! The Presence of God is tangible and it's truly a place to get plugged in to.

Pastor Brad and his wife and family are Awesome!

NLFC is a truly unique environment. It provides you with an atmosphere of love and encouragement. Once you enter the building it's hard to ignore the modern aesthetics, high ceilings, and attention to technological prowess. However, It's even harder to ignore the smiling faces that greet you at the door, Pastor Brad and his wife Josie genuinely welcoming and seeing you off in person, as well as the multi generational/multi racial congregation.
You're covered in every area at this church.
If you have kids, the kid's program is engaging for your youngsters.
Teens? Every Sunday night The Kingdom Collective youth group can check off that box.
College age and young adult? done deal.
Want to get extra connected? They have small groups scattered all throughout the week ranging from guitar picking to a softball league...there's bound to be something for you to enjoy at NLFC!

A great family friendly church. We believe that God loves us and we are His children who love Him. At all ages we worship and learn about Him and His part in all we do. We are His representitives here to introduce Him to those who don't know or understand Him.

An awesome, welcoming, spirit filled church. Even though this church isn’t close to home, it is totally worth the drive. I love how they are welcoming of everyone, and even thought they are a big church, it still feels like everyone know everybody.

I LOVE New Life!!! You will feel absolutely welcomed. NLF has helped me in my spiritual journey with God. If you are looking for a church home or just want to visit a church, NLF church is the place for you.

Love this church! New Life is full of loving, caring individuals who love Jesus! You can definitely sense His presence in worship and the message!

Nice facility. In an old shopping district. Seems like they have more than half the building now. Have a small daycare during the weeks. Great sound system and video screens.

Been going here over 10 years. If you need a good bible based church that's non-denominational and all Jesus, then you're at the right place.
