Mr T's Real Catfish & Burgers

First of all let me say these weren’t wings but WANGS!!! Best wings I’ve had in this area including Wingstop which is overhyped. We had the Creole and Mr. T’s seasoned ones. They were sooo good and full of flavor and they gave enough ranch! I would advise that people give places like Mr. T’s a shot before going to these commercial franchises. The quality is usually much better and most take pride in what they serve to their customers.

I ordered a catfish plate and a Sunday Soul Food plate with meatloaf, green beans, and mashed potatoes. I also had 2 cups of blue kool - aid. The catfish was easily if not the best, some of the best in the METROPLEX. The potatoes were soft and good. Green beans had Turkey meat in them, so that let’s you know that you are getting some good food. I must admit, I was surprised at how good the food was. I also order 2 bricks(Lol) of Carmel cake. The cake was soft and moist and had great flavor. I know that cats can make excuses as to location and what not, but if you like to eat. You go anywhere for good food and this spot is worth it!!!! I was also fortunate enough to meet the new owners and saw them working. All in all… I will be back every visit back home!!

Wow. My first time coming here with my husband. He works at o Reilly’s down the street ;) and the wings are 💣 and the 🍔 delicious and juicy!! I highly recommend this joint. Made to order fresh and hot! This pregnant lady happy 😆:)

Personally had the best experience here. I got a catfish basket and it was absolutely great. So fresh and good! Kool aid was the bomb, and my son got the Penny special wings and loved them. Really loved how we were able to meet the owners Layne and Brittainy. Black owned and you can feel the love in this place.🤍 Please run don’t walk get in to Mr. T’s

Love this family owned business. The food is always good and hot. I always get a smile with my food. I would like to see them expand to a stand alone and not be in a mom n pop store. I think they would do well. Thank y'all I will always patronize your business

This place is actually quite good. I love the burgers and fries and onion rings. The bacon cheeseburger is like an old fashioned hamburger from when I was a kid. The people who work here are always so kind and professional. I sm not a big catfish eater but I did try it once. The menu is pretty simple burgers, catfish, wings, and tenders. It is strictly carryout.

I’ve been to Mr. Ts Real Catfish & Burgers multiple times and everytime the food and service are on point. The food is always hot and freshly cooked when ordered. They have friendly staff that make genuine suggestions about items on the menu. 10/10 recommend!

I was introduced to this establishment by my daughters. The fish was omg so good! It was seasoned very good and they gave you the options of fries(I got the fries and onion rings). A true diamond in the ruff ❤

This is a little GEM! I found this place when I was looking for a place to eat after I picked up my daughter from the middle school across the street. LOVE their food! I got the catfish basket with okra. It was hot and fresh and TRULY catfish. And the customer service was great. I can’t wait to go back here. I’m so glad I found this place.

Let me just say we JUST l relocating from Houston yesterday and the service was superb. I almost cried because Mrs. Mimi was SO warming and sweet! The food was DELICIOUS and FRESH!
I felt at home already and I can’t wait to get more food<3

I don't know why all these years I never paid attention to this place. I wanted some "new fish" lol and the reviews were good, so I gave it a go! While I waited, a man came in and the lady knew him by name. She was nice and I liked that she called EVERY single person by their name when handing them their orders. The man and I talked about it and he said this was his third weekend in a row coming. I was like oh yes, this is it!! Listen!!! I'm glad I listened to the reviews! This was the taste I was looking for. My fish was seasoned to perfection and when I added my hot sauce for a lil razzle dazzle, it was a party in my mouth lol. I had it with okra and it was so good. So of course I have to go back to try the other menu items. Y'all should go too lol. You will not be disappointed!

Damit Man *Pardon my language) but I must say this place has the Best Dam Catfish i have eaten since I have moved here to Texas. I didn't start eating Catfish until I moved here from North Carolina about a year ago. I eat fish but never liked Catfish. I definitely have to give the owner, cooks, and other employees there props. I have been tell ing everyone at my job here in Irving about it. And my neighbor when I got home I shared a piece with them and they was like were did I get that from. They went out and got some for themselves. 😋♥♥♥💯💯💯♥♥♥. DEFINITELY MY NEW SPOTFOE CATFISH and Wings, The wings are off the chain too love them definitely better than some of these other wing spots. 🥰♥🥰♥🥰💯🥰💯🥰

This was a good find. I live in Lancaster and didn't know this place existed in my own city. The catfish was great, the wings were bomb and my husband said the burger & fries were on point. We'll be back.

This was my first time coming, thanks to TikTok. I must say, the customer service was very good. Omg. I will definitely be back. I had a good old hood back cheeseburger and kool aid. Good God almighty. I really drove from Farmers Branch to Lancaster for some good food.

This is some home made for real made to order! I had wings and burger the best in town u hear me!!!

Second time eating from Mr. T’s and both times were great. 1st time I had the fried catfish and it was seasoned and fried really well! 2nd visit I had the wings with the Mr. T seasoning and again was seasoned and fried really well. My only issue with the wings were they were a bit too salty for me…but other than that, they were great!

Man listen , fish was well season and crispy , I almost slap my momma can’t wait to try they burger and wings

Prices were good & I would definitely recommend this as a place to pick up some real food made on tge spot from some season cooks
