Main Street Cafe

So good! I’ll be back. Great prices and delicious food. They serve breakfast all day, which I love, but the potato chip chicken sandwich just sounded too good to pass up. Fresh fried okra and sweet potato fries. They have an onion sauce that is also very good. We sat on the patio on a Saturday evening. Pleasant and not too busy! There was a discount for paying cash for the meal, too!

The girl-child and I decided to try this place out because (a) the food looked good, and (b) it opens at 6:00 a.m. Aside: what gives with breakfast restaurants not opening until 7 or 8? It's breakfast, you slackers. Did you know that there's not a single breakfast joint that I could find in Flower Mound (apart from IHOP) that opens before 7?

Okay, rant over. The girl-child is going off to college out-of-state next year so this was the last year of our annual Valentine's Day early morning Dad-Daughter breakfast date. Bittersweet indeed. Anywho, we went to Main Street Cafe because we'd never been there before and everything was outstanding. Even that early in the morning, the hostess and our server were super friendly, and the patrons all seemed happy to be there. Great interior and exterior ambiance in what I suppose is still the Old Town Lewisville area.

The food itself is delicious, though the breakfast menu is relatively small. I got Mike's Special and she got the Farmer's Omelet. Both were outstanding! Service was quick and the prices were decent. My eggs -- which I care very, very much about-- were perfectly over easy. Excellent hash browns and the mushrooms and tomatoes and ham were perfectly grill-kissed.

The alcoholic drink menu was an impressive flex at zero-dark-thirty. We politely declined.

We will definitely be back!

The wife and I love this place, We dine here quite often. We have never gotten anything bad from here. The staff is beyond friendly, we have become regulars.

Had an awesome chicken and waffles dish here! You would think chicken and waffles would be easy, but many places get it wrong. Some have soft spongy waffles, some give you tiny cups of syrup making you ask for 3 more cups, with some, the chicken isn't tender. Main Street Cafe gets it just right. The service was super speedy, and the prices were excellent. We got out for $18/person, despite 2 mimosa's and a brownie/ice cream dessert. The house is an older house, but very roomy with multiple sections and an outdoor patio. Strongly recommended!

Love this cute little restaurant!! One of the best places for comfort/american food around! Never super busy and has great food. I love the grilled shrimp and rice pilaf, you’ll be surprised at how well they pull it off! Highly recommend!!

Great staff ! I really thought Alex was a terrific bartender and so was Tanya! The food was delicious and I had a great time hanging with the locals at this unique spot.

Big old plate of Steak and Eggs!!! Great atmosphere 👌 had fun eating breakfast after a hard workout.

We had a good experience while visiting from out of town. The food was pretty average but satisfying. The best part of our visit was the service, Dani C. was so amazing. She was super attentive, friendly and super sweet. You made our visit so enjoyable. It was my sons birthday he was so happy after we left. Thank you again Dani

If I can give this a 10 star rating... I would! My oh my, what a cozy place. Don't let the house setting fool you when you walk up because it does feel like you are walking into someone's home uninvited, innocence.

I had a wonderful server. I did forget her name. The food was great just last if I was cooking it myself. The ambiance was beautiful, very quiet, and nothing too dramatic.

It was a type of atmosphere that you have people who do not want to be seen and they are just there to enjoy the food and atmosphere.

I do not like the atmosphere where you go into a place, and you know people are trying to be seen. This is not Las Vegas, NV people. LOL This is Lewisville texas, yeehaw! I really adore it here, and I will definitely be back.

I took my parents for breakfast. Our food was delicious. My mom is super picky. My father and I had the Mexican style breakfast, Huevos Rancheros. My mom ate the Brisket sandwich. The prices are budget friendly.

We had our Family Christmas Party here and it turned out great! The Food, Service and the Atmosphere was absolutely wonderful!!! Our waiter took care of approximately 25 people and he never missed a beat. I highly recommend the Main Street Cafe!!!

I've been coming to this restaurant for 4 yrs and every time I come service has been amazing. New owners took over and I have to say this cafe has been the most amazing place to come back every time. Breakfast, Lunch And Dinner. Alex, Lali, Aly and Megan have been the most amazing Bar Tenders and servers always getting our drinks and food to perfection. Thank you guys. Good home cooking food and good company. WE Love coming here they treat us like family. Love you guys❤ PS..IF you haven't been in for a while, GUYS they added new drinks to the bar.🍸🍹🍺🥂🍷

Absolute 5/5 from me! The food was delish, with a solid home cooked taste. The drinks (mimosas, Bellinis, Texas tea and more) were amazing. The service was friendly and perfect. Can't recommend more for brunch!!

Great cafe with breakfast all day options. Located in a historic house from the 1800s, the Main Street Cafe offers a wide range from home style cooking to happy hour cocktails. I had the Jalapeno chicken with black eyed peas and fried pickles as sides. Portions are plenty and service was kind.

Terrific food & great service!! It’s cozy, quaint, warm & welcoming!! Everything was spot on. I just love the way the restaurant looks. To start with, we ordered mashed potato & gravy, grilled chicken with a side of fried pickles & Spanish omelet. Fresh ingredients and great home tasting food. They have a full bar and happy hours during the week & weekend as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

We decided to try something new in the area and came across this quaint place with delicious food. They serve breakfast all day, so it was a win for us. The server (Logan?) was very attentive and refilled our drinks without prompting and brought our food out quickly. We really enjoyed our dining experience and will be back to try other offerings.

Very cute and homey cafe. Our waiter was great and so friendly. Food was delicious - I got their pancake special with blueberries - so good!! Their drink menu was amazing as well. Located right next to the downtown area, so great for walking. Glad I found this place!

From out of town and just found this place. What a great meal. Huevos Rancheros with over easy eggs (not scrambled). Great level of spices and the warm salsa was really nice. Service was great as well.

We went for dinner. It was very quiet. Its in a new location. The food was incredible. The jalepeño catfish was surprising and unreal tasty! If you like spicy this is a must try. The sides were good and the vegetables were cooked perfectly, not over done at all. The mashed potatoes are creamy and the gravy is excellent. The mac and cheese is homemade and didnt disappoint. We will come back and definitely want yo try breakfast.
