Sammamish Community YMCA

I’m so grateful for the daycare providers here. They are all very nice, and professional people. I cannot believe another reviewer said that some of the providers were creepy.

As for the gym itself, I like it a lot. It’s always clean, and doesn’t smell stuffy like other gyms sometimes do. I also love the sense of community.

Always a position facing different people creates different experiences and leaves diverse opinions as you can see below. For me, I really like YMCA Sammamish and am satisfied with the facility, staff, and kid zone professionals. Of course, not every aspect is perfect, but hope you don’t judge only with a few negative comments below.

Great place. It’s new and nice. Plus the kid zone makes it so my wife and I can work out again. I thought I was going to have to accept a few years of being out of shape. Thanks for rescuing me :-)

Great place for the whole family! Staff is very friendly and receptive to feedback on classes, times, and activities. They put on some great children’s programs throughout the year. The Rex pool is a lot of fun on rainy days and after school to burn some energy. My kids love the kids zone and ask to go here often.

So thankful for the caring and kind teachers at the Kid Zone! Helped my husband and I have a nice workout and our kid to socialize! Wish there were more locations like this one - so beautiful, so many options and at affordable price! Thank you!!

A wonderful gym. The space is clean. They have a ton of machines and equipment that are well-kept and spaced out well. The pool is really nice. And all the employees are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

So much better!! We signed up through the Bellevue Y, but it was so chaotic that I felt like a bad mother every time I left my baby in childcare. This one is run so much better. Check in for childcare was seamless. The staff is friendly and seems knowledgeable. We loved the facility and the classes. I was able to look through a window and see my baby and she was actually being attend to. Bellevue my baby isn’t even taken out of her car seat. I saw people rocking her and later holding and talking to her. You have no idea how that matters as a mother. I’m very impressed with this facility.

It's a beautiful facility. I use the facility at 5:30am and I swim, run, use weights, cycle, and do yoga. It's fantastic that Sammamish has something that is so nice. When reading the other people's reviews it looks like they are all frustrated because they must be using the facility during peak hours. If they woke up earlier they wouldn't have this problem.

Family-oriented, fair prices, and great programs. The classes are great and have a good schedule for the most part. It can be pretty overcrowded at times though, and waits can be long for open space on courts or certain niche machines. Overall, great place.

This facility is ever evolving! They try to accommodate everyone's needs! Remember this is a community center and sometimes a child might be misbehaving. As an adult you have every right to shush a child if their parents are not stepping up to the job!! It takes a village... leave a note at the desk if you have a need and it will be responded to asap. This is not an elite gym. It is a "Y". VERY CAREFUL to be a clean welcoming place!!!!!!!

best y around. Coal creek beats them in number and variety of classes offered but this place excels everywhere else. It seems that their leadership does a much better job of recruiting quality employees than some of the other nearby y's that have become stagnant or even started to decline in community involvement. Not sure what the negative reviewers are comparing to.

I love the programs and the facility, especially the swimming pool. I, also appreciate the quality of the instructors.

Huge and awesome. They have three basketball courts, a lap pool, kid pool and slide. The only issue is that it is popular with tons of activities, so you gotta plan according to the schedule.

My family and I have used the pool facilities several times. I've had a wonderful experience with staff, cleanliness, and facility quality.

Clean, friendly staff, fun classes, nice lap swimming pool and activity pool (my kids love the lazy river and water slide!), and indoor track. A fantastic addition to the community!

Facility is always clean and they have friendly helpful staff. If I had one complaint it would be that their soap appears as if it is extremely watered down.

Amazing place for everyone! Swimming and exercising it's the main point if this facility and they do it right. I highly recommend it!
