VCA Seguin Animal Hospital

We’ve been using these guys for about 4 years now and they’re great. Dr. Bruening and his team are so good with our dogs. The VCA app is easy to use and it was easy to get an appointment for our fur baby. We appreciate that they support the military with a discount.

The doctors and staff here are so friendly and do a fantastic job. I always trust that they'll take great care of my cats. Care Club is also a great deal.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They were quick and easy to deal with. Our dogs are comfortable and well taken care of by Dr. Leslie and Dr. Justin. We highly recommend them to everyone.

Dr. Leslie Moczygemba at VCA Seguin Animal Hospital is absolutely amazing! She always makes us and our dog feel welcome. Her love, care, and compassion for every animal are very obvious. From the first time we came in, she got down on the floor with our dog and comforted her cause she could get very nervous at the vet. On subsequent visits, her anxiety about visiting the vet was visibly less. All of the staff here are very kind, caring, and respectful. I recommend VCA Seguin to anyone looking for a great veterinarian. When it came time for our beloved furry friend and family member to cross the rainbow 🌈 bridge, Dr. Leslie and her staff helped us say goodbye and give her relief from the pain and a peaceful end from the cancer with us by her side, listening to her favorite music. I can not begin to thank you enough for your expertise and how you cared for her and helped us, though such a difficult decision. Thank you, Dr. Leslie & VCA staff!

Recently, my cat was spayed in Nixon. I was allowed to leave without a cone collar, no pain med, no antibiotic. When i arrived home, I discovered the wound had a bubble, the skin wasn't gathered tightly for stitching, there was a slight gap. I notified the vet clinic in Nixon, i was told that it is normal. The following morning , the wound was open, and tissue had fallen out of the cat. I rushed to the Nixon clinic only to discover the clinic is closed on Friday, the luxury of three day weekends. I rushed back to Seguin and selected the VCA Animal Hospital, the service was amazing! The cat had emergency surgery. The cat was given a powerful antibiotic injection, a cone collar, and pain medication. The wound is beautiful, done by a skillful doctor, and to all the ladies, Good Looking! I was given a hefty bill, however, VCA saved my cat's life. Thank you VCA, I will enjoy my dear friend for many years to come. She is sweet, and deserves to live. And concerning Nixon, no excuse for negligence.

I absolutely love this place I’ve been taking my cats for years the vets are amazing Ruby the receptionist is amazing but there’s one that’s is beyond rude everytime in person and on the phone I hate to have to switch vets because of one person! She said there was no openings and when I checked the app there was 2 that week! Are they not seeing the same system?? Who knows but that lady needs an attitude adjustment and I’ve seen her name mentioned here more than once. Not good!

Both of our dogs r taken there, a 10 year old English Bulldog and 3 year old lab. They r very caring, attentive, knowledgeable and reasonable.

Well at first I went to assure in new Braunfels they stated that my puppy needed some in stay hospital care because she had a fever. And it was going to cost anywhere from $3,500-$5,000. Then I told them I don't have no insurance or money for that. Then the girl that came out said well looks like you have two options you can do you can take her home and she will get dehydrated and most likely not make it because we believe she has a really bad stomach infection or some kind of infection. How do they diagnose a pet or even humans without a thorough check up meaning no X-rays no blood test only check bottom and ears and throat and eyes and nose and then they diagnosed her as dying if she is not getting hospital care she called it critical. Well the second option was surrender my puppy to them and then they will find someone to fund money to help her. They prescribed a lot of medication for her it was going to cost almost 200.00 Well I got smart I bought the antibiotic only and took care of her day and night she couldn't swallow, eat,or walk her back was hunched up, so listened to my heart and to another person that referred me to Dr. Justin in the Seguin pet hospital and he said are you sure she didn't hurt herself I said well two weeks ago she jumped off the top of my couch and landed on her face. But she got up her jaw went out of place but it snapped back in. Well this doctor Justin is one hell of a smart doctor Justin ordered me a liquid antibiotic and a liquid prednisone and within in two days she was eating, walking and running, barking and kissing all over her momma. It drew her closer to me I was up all night feeding her water through a medicine dropper and every two hours and I had to place a cool wash cloth over her every two hours to keep her fever down. This baby girl princess she knew momma had her and cared for her. I really appreciate the care the generosity and the kindness and love they have for not just the pets but they have heart and love for the owners of the pets. My princess is back to herself thanks to doctor Justin and his staff. I really appreciate everyone of y'all in that hospital. Because this baby girl is just like my daughter to me. Thank you and I'm recommending people to your hospital.

I recently visited VCA. My baby wasn't feeling well, it turns out he had two tumors. We had to make the worst decision of our lives and I couldn't have asked for a better vet and vet tech to ease our minds and hearts while we did it. Dr. Schumann and his assistant Kaylee were as patient, as kind and compassionate as I could have ever hope for. They have big hearts and I am incredibly grateful for them.

My dog had to have 3 broken teeth removed. They were great about letting me know the costs involved and keeping me informed of how my dog was doing right after the procedure, and the next day they called to check on how my dog was doing. Highly recommend!

Nice modern facility with friendly and patient staff. Nice that they didn't rush us through. Doctor was especially attentive to our questions and concerns.

We moved to Seguin almost 2 years ago from Colorado bringing our four fur babies and you all ( y'all) lol came highly recommended. We have had the best care for our pups and the staff is very outgoing, caring and friendly.
