Garcia's Mexican Restaurant

Ok I must say...I actually had stopped going for many reasons but....I decided to go last Thursday night. Fyi 2 entrances..one off of 46 and the other is on side road IH10 Access. They knocked down the old gas station completely. PLENTY OF PARKING! Wait time was only like 5 minutes and this was around 6:30pm. The cleaned a group table setting quick after they left and sat us down. Hubs and I ordered Tortilla Soup and Chalupa....on point. The free tortilla chips were fresh and crispy. My biggest surprise was their small order of Bean and Cheese Nachos..no meat! Got our order and WOW Nachos order huge and cheese so melty and the guacamole was fresh (no onions and stuff mixed with it). Good ole fashioned fresh guacamole! We had to take home! Our waitress was so attentive. Constantly checking on us and others around us. Kept drinks topped off too. Right off the Hwy 10 if traveling through.

We went in for lunch, and it was four of us. The wait was very short, 15min. Our server was great, very attentive. Food was SO good! Our order was all correct as ordered. Reasonably priced. Loved my enchiladas plate. Also tried the picadillo plate, very good!

If you are craving Mexican food in Seguin, TX, Garcia's is a great choice to have incredible tasting food, impeccable service, and a relaxing atmosphere. Interestingly enough, you can order anything from authentic tasting Mexican food to yummy Chicken Fried Steak. Yep, you heard that right! For those few who do not like Mexican food, you are in luck! Garcia's offers American Plates and boasts items like cheeseburgers, chicken strips, and even catfish. Keep in mind that Garcia's serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also have a kid's menu and a dessert menu.

Also, if you are celebrating someone's birthday and you want to make them feel special, just let your waiter/waitress know. Toward the end of your meal, you will start to hear those maracas shaking 🪇 and the staff singing as they bring in the famous blue sombrero and a scrumptious dessert for your loved one to indulge in. Personally, I might just celebrate my birthday there next year just to wear the sombrero and make some noise!

This place is a gem in the rough. Easily accessible off I-10, lots of parking. We were seated right away even though the place was busy. Server was so nice and friendly! Quick service throughout. The food was amazing. The chips are freshly made. Tortillas are fresh too! We got the nachos and menudo. Hands down two of the best dishes we’ve had in Texas so far. Ambiance was comfortable, family friendly. We will definitely be back!

I constantly crave Garcia's thanks to their miraculous food. My family loves getting takeout from this place as well as dine in. I recommend quesadillas and the enchiladas. My parents love the street tacos. 🌮

Love this place! The chips and salsa are addictive and the food is always great. Paige served us and was absolutely wonderful and such a joy to meet!

I was traveling from San Antonio to Houston and in need of breakfast tacos!!!!!!!! I was able to call in before passing by and they were super fast with my togo order. The sweet tea is SUPER SWEET (in the best way) and complimented our amazing breakfast tacos! I love the bean and cheese taco and now we have a spot to stop by on our way through Seguin

This was a good suggestion from Google. We were driving from Houston to New Braunfels and needed a place for dinner.

The fajitas were hot and tasty and the margarita was not too bad either.

The employees were friendly and got our food out quickly and kept out drinks full.

This place has very good food. Service is polite. Bathrooms are clean.
I grew up with the original Garcia's in San Marcos. Always have had great food, excellent service. Place is always clean. So now we have a lot more locations to eat at. It is nice to be able to go to Kyle, Seguin, Schertz , Lockhart, and or course San Marcos.

Food was so delicious and hot! Servers were great and actually got our food pretty quick. Love how clean the restaurant was especially for how busy they were.

Stopped in on a road trip. Fantastic atmosphere. Decorated authentically. Food was amazing. Large portions. Kid friendly. Friendly wait staff. Never had to ask for a refill. Very attentive. Hardly any wait. Would go again if I'm in the area.

Although it may not look impressive from the outside, this is a great restaurant. The authentic feel, friendly service and delicious food make it worth the stop. The salsa is one of my favorites and the chips are light and crispy. Everyone in the group liked what they ordered.

This is a great place, food is always good, service is great, Savanah is the greatest she always remembers that I don't like rice and brings extra beans.
