It hasn't changed in over 60 years, you can't go wrong with the classics! The Salazar family has been serving the local community since 1952. Many of the local residents established their first line of credit through Salazar grocery, helping them make it through hard times when any hand up helped to ensure that they kept their families fed and no one went hungry.
In the days of our youth there was once a time when you could go to the store with merely a dollar in your hand and you could get a handmade ham and cheese sandwich a bag of chips a soda and a moon cookie all for under a dollar. Oh yes those were the days indeed, a simpler time, a happy time when life and everything we knew was not ruled by governments regulated electronic gizmos and expensive trinkets worn and flashed by everyone just trying to surpass each other with the latest and greatest hot new thing just like everyone in this current Rat Race that we are all trying to peacefully coexist in. Oh but to be young again....

Monchies has for the past 60+ years continued to help support the neighborhood and the surrounding communities. Many of the families around here owe their livelihood and mere survival to the business and its family for helping keep them going threw some very hard and brutal times.
