Rhino Steel Building Systems

I started working with Randy last year to get a building engineered and on order. He did an excellent job understanding my project, timeline and location. He did a great job helping me understand their structures and engineering process. Due to the manufacturing time line and winter in Montana they worked with me to deliver the building when we were ready for it. Ada has been great at coordinating the delivery based on our timeline as well as processing an additional order we needed more trim and screws (we added windows and additional doors after we ordered the building) Our contractor has been in the process of putting it up and has mentioned multiple times how happy he has been with the erection process has been. When he has had questions Jeff has been quick to respond. The entire Rhino team has been great to work with.

I totally love the building I alone built, with the help of Rhino Manufacturing, Sales associate Kristyn, and the other technical assistants I asked of along the way.
Rhino staff were all kind and extremely helpful to me with the design and then answer construction questions I had along the way in erecting this structure.I wanted the overhead extension you see, as well as adding my own sliding barn doors to accentuate the look.
Their pricing was fair in comparison with other companies and delivery was prompt.

I have recommended Rhino to friends and family. Ordered the building in Dec of 2000, delivered on time with all the required components. Sales process was awesome, and the few times I required assistance, Rhino was there. This was my first metal building project, so I had a lot of questions and learned a lot along the way. While Rhino was awesome, there are a lot of things a long the way to be aware of when working with the cement contractor, metal building construction and the engineering inspection. Be sure you have the answers to your questions before you get surprised. Rhino was great, will use them again.

No Coronavirus or supply chain excuses. The delivery company was great...very helpful. The kit pieces are excellent quality. Ada Boyd (customer service) and Curtis Frost (sales representative) set the bar for professionalism and are a joy to work with. All questions and concerns have been answered quickly with positive outcomes. I am so glad I chose Rhino Steel Building Systems for my project. Can't wait to start building. This will be my 6th steel building project from 3 different steel building companies. By far the best of all.

Purchasing a steel building is a large investment and was not a journey I began without a significant amount of research. To this end, I contacted about a dozen companies, read online reviews ad-nauseum, and spent weeks of my time trying to gain as much insight into the industry as possible. I encountered some obviously shady companies, was dealt basically every sales tactic in the book, and certainly got my fair share of the "used car salesperson" experience. I also discovered some truly decent and upfront companies, and ultimately chose Rhino Steel Buildings to complete my project. Reasons I chose Rhino include:

1) My sales representative, Joseph McClannahan, patiently worked with me through the entire process without pressuring me into a quick sale. He was always available to answer my questions, quickly responded to any inquiries, and was willing to go the extra mile to ensure my building was perfectly suited for its intended purpose. Even though I was quite upfront that I had contacted a number of companies and Rhino may not receive my sale, Joseph never treated me as a second-rate customer. After ordering, he made sure to double and triple check my order to ensure the production process was seamless. This level of attention to detail is somewhat of a rarity in the world today, and I am grateful to Joseph for his diligence on my behalf.

2) If you have read the reviews for the steel building industry as a whole, you are likely familiar with the two greatest risks to the consumer: ever-escalating building prices causing a client to forfeit their building, and down payment, and failure to deliver the building in a timely manner (or deliver at all). Having some legal background, I read about a dozen purchase and sales agreements for varying companies. When I would point out obvious risks to the consumer, most sales representatives would simply try and convince me that my fears would never occur (meanwhile, the online reviews said otherwise) rather than address the issue. Joseph ultimately received my business because he listened to my concerns and spent a considerable amount of time addressing them. Thanks to the work of Joseph McClannahan and Ryan Frost, I was able to sign a contract that protected my down payment and provided me with a price lock guarantee. No other company was willing to go this far to ensure my comfort with the sale and protect my monetary investment.

3) The expected timeline for my project through Rhino was quite good. This was important to me since my work demands change drastically during different times of the year and I needed to ensure my building was delivered when I had the time to erect it.

At this point, my building has just been released to fabrication. I will be sure to update this review when I actually receive and erect my building, but to date, Rhino has been an excellent company to tackle this project.

Edited to add: My building was delivered exactly on time and without hassle. The delivery process was seamless, and I'm excited to start assembling my building.

Rhino is a great company to work with for metal buildings. Gary has done an outstanding job with his customer service and knowledge. Have ordered numerous buildings from him and will continue to do so.

I purchased a 7800 square foot metal building and Dirk Davis did a fantastic job and was very helpful. Everyone I spoke with at the company, was very responsive and a great help. We even had an issue regarding the delivery of the building being delayed a few hours and RHINO made it right. Highly recommend this company!

We have used Rhino for several projects and they have been phenomenal to work with. In addition to the great product delivery and support, our sales contact Ryan Frost has been one of the most professional and attentive outside sales vendors we have. I can't recommend Ryan and Rhino enough for any metal building needs.

These guys do a quick turn around time on design work. We were able to get the building designed and delivered in a timely manner for construction. The materials in the kit are made to last and made to fit perfectly, we where able complete the build in four days.

Kevin Rei was extremely helpful through the entire process! He answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. Excellent company to deal with!

The people here are incredible. I couldn't imagine working with anyone else for my steel building needs. Thanks yall!

Idk what these other guys are talking about I wouldn't buy a metal building anywhere else

We purchased and erected a large activity building from them a few years ago. It all worked out ok.

Do your due diligence before purchasing from Rhino. We just purchased 7,500 sqft Metal Building. Their recommended installer will not complete the installation. Now we are stuck with the building. The insulation they quoted did not meet the Michigan requirements so we had to spend more money on insulation. They dont respond to emails. I would stay away from this company.

Really wish would have found some of these reviews before making the same mistake these people did. I have multiple issues with my kit and now had to pay someone to torch, cut, and weld on a "pre engineered, bolt together kit!" Rhino has been silent after telling me to get a quote and they will make it "right". They didnt like the quote so I gave them a week to get their own and get the building fixed, havemt heard from the "customer service department" since! They leave their customer to figure out, fix, and pay for their errors on a very expensive building! Its a shame because I had a really great experience with my salesman Jimmy, but Jeff at their "claims department" is an absolute joke, and their VP Bobby just hides in the background! My building has been sitting with just the framing up for a month now and I had to move along as I could not wait on rhino anymore! BUYER BEWARE, after they have your money, expect to never hear from them again!

Rhino Steel Building misrepresented the installation process, after 13months discussing and designing, no word of needing a erection company. Building leaked like hell due to lack of overhang at the certer ridge cap. Salesperson became nonexistent after issues arrived. Would not recommend this company.
