I’m glad we took a chance on J&M Auto Repair, because they make you feel like part of the family.
My SUV had a check engine light come on and a lot of shaking while idling.
Jared first tried to clean the existing part that was needed to save us some money and see if that would work. The light went off, but came back on that evening after driving it a bit. (They had told us upfront that it may not work and we might still have to get the part new. We thought it was worth a try!) We called to let them know and Shannon was amazing! She got the new part ordered, and actually found one for about half the cost than was originally thought. She communicated with me every step of the way and got my car back in ASAP. When my husband went to pick up the car, she even gave him little window stickers for recording the oil change mileage. I had mentioned to her that he does his own oil changes, but forgot last time to write down the mileage of when he did it.
It’s the little things. :)
When my husband came back, he said “the car is running great” and “they are good people.”

Called this morning at 9 when they opened to try and get a muffler on my dodge pickup. Needed it pretty quick as the recent storm knocked a tree over onto my wife’s van leaving us with only my truck needing a muffler. Anyways they called and said they didn’t have it in stock but they had already called around for me and found me a place in Cleburne that would take care of me today. It’s 940 am and I’m waiting for services to be finished. Amazing customer service. They just gained a lifelong customer.

Went to get my alignment done, was not disappointed with the service as well as all the helpful people, they were very knowledgeable as well as informative as they showed you and explained to you what was going on and how it affected your vehicle. Definitely will be coming back when my vehicle needs more maintenance again.

Jared and Shannon are my families go to mechanic shop. They are always honest and fair about their pricing and the job they do. I have a two daughters and any time there is something wrong with one of there vehicles they take it straight to Jared and he gets to it as fast as he can. We are also excited that they are about to open up a new alignment shop in Alvarado Texas, something we are way over due for in our town.

Recently moved to the area and we were so lucky to find a great mechanic. J&M went above and beyond to complete our repairs timely and thoroughly! No matter where we land in the DFW area, this will be our repair shop. We have already recommended them to everyone we have met.

I was told at christain brothers, I'd have to replace both of my catalytic converters and my fuel pump.
Jared looked it over and saw it only needed one catalytic converter and the fuel pump was working just fine. If I had just took Christian brothers at their word it would of cost me well over 1200 dollars. Jared is an honest and very talented mechanic.
Jared has earned my loyalty and I will always know I'm in the best of hands when I need repairs done to my vehicles !

Excellent mechanic with fair prices, and he had our truck ready to go in just a few hours. That meant a lot to us that he was able to have it ready so fast!!!!

Another place in town charged me for repairs and did not repair my truck. J and M inspected my truck. Did the correct repairs for half the cost. They are our new go to repair shop. I would recommend them to everyone. And shout out to Shannon for your honesty and telling it like it is.

I recently had Jared fix my a/c on my 2010 Escape . . . I have had problems with mechanics in the past, so approached the experience a little cautiously. He did a great job of diagnosing the problem, working with me so I didn't have to be without my car overnight. His pricing was reasonable and most importantly...my a/c is blowing cold going into the summer. Thanks, Jared!
