Our family enjoyed a fantastic meal at Trout this week. We had 11 and were seated quickly and our server Julie was amazing. She took care of everyone’s order perfectly and offered up suggestions when asked. Great experience - definitely recommend!

I’ll never want to stay at another location in Port A again. Fabulous condo, fabulous view, and fabulous amenities. What a way to wake up in the morning and go to bed at night: with the drink of your choice on the deck overlooking the yachts and slips. The bar & grill is equally accommodating, which simply speaks volumes for the owners and management as they clearly understand how to attract the right staff and retain them as well. The organizational culture is clearly servant leadership driven & employee salience focused. Bravo to everyone who had a hand in my glorious week-long stay. Bravo!

What a great location and the food was fabulous for all four of us. We sat outside and the view over the marina was sweet. Our server Joshua made our night complete!

My husband and I decided to visit a restaurant that we had not been to while in Port Aransas. We still wanted to be by the water so we choose this place.
We arrived after 8 p.m. on a Wednesday night and it was not busy at all. We elected to sit outside so we could enjoy the view. Our waiter was very nice and personable and took great care of us.
I ordered the Red Fish and it was very good. My husband ordered the Cajun Redfish, since he likes spicy food, and said it was delicious.
We also had the sweet tea, which was also very tasty.
We had a great view of the waterfront as we enjoyed our meal and they also give a pretty good military discount!

A hidden gem. I'm glad I came to eat lunch here. The food was amazing, and the service was just as good. I definitely recommend it!

Came in around 5 pm, and we were seating quickly. (We beat the dinner rush). The atmosphere was very pleasant with a really good view of the harbor. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. After a few recommendations, my wife ordered the Shrimp Louie salad. I ordered the fresh fish of the day. Since I am not around the ocean in my hometown, I ordered an extra side of fish as well. I ordered blackened red fish and grilled red snapper freshly caught. The rice pilaf was very good and flavorful. The fresh green beans were cooked properly, too. They were not soggy but still a little crisp. My fish on both plates were amazing. Both prepared properly and very quickly. We did not have a long wait time to receive our food. Overall, our experience was really, really great. The prices are a little bit higher, but not as high as I've seen around on dock restaurants around the country. We definitely will be back again.

The wait was shorter than other places on the island. Then the menu came- the food prices are higher than other places, but we’ll worth it. The redfish and shrimp was amazing. We all cleared our plates. The sunset while we waited was beautiful.

Our group of 5 was hesitant considering the poor reviews at this restaurant but we gave it a try. We were seated promptly and the hostess was polite. We opted for outside seating and all tables were clean and the establishment was very well kept. Our server was very polite and took good care of the table. Appetizers and entrees exceeded expectations for all of us. Portions were generous and prices were appropriate considering the food quality. We will certainly put this spot on the top of our list when in Port Aransas

Lovely environment with good food and a great view out to the channel. Fish was perfectly prepared and fresh. The best fries i have ever tasted. Crisp outside with a fluffy inside and not overly salted.

Had 2 great meals here. Bacon wrapped shrimp with rice and veggies was excellent. Scallops and shrimp was wife's plate and it was great.

Fried Red snapper was excellent and the bed of cream corn goes well together. The only complaint is how tight the seating is and the need for a better waiting area. Other than that, excellent view of the marina and good atmosphere. 2nd time here and will go back

This is a must stop destination for us when we are visiting the area. The staff and food are top notch & everybody gets excited about their food even the kiddos. I recommend the fried shrimp even if you just get a few on the side!

Brought our own fish and it was wonderful! First time, our spec trout. Second time king fish. Blackened both times. Both were awesome!

Forever my all-time favorite restaurant. My daughter and I have been coming here nearly yearly for vacation since she was tiny, and we always stop by Trout Street. It is one of the highlights of the stay for both of us. We eat out on the deck, which has a view of the yachts on the ramp right out back. It is a gorgeous area, the water and atmosphere is so peaceful. I will say on weekends it gets a little loud and crowded for my liking. So I try to go during the weekday. She says they serve the best chicken strips she has ever eaten, and the loaded fries are also a fav. We also got the ice cream covered brownie this time and...yum! Kids meals are about $10, and regular entrees can get a bit on the high end, but totally worth it. This is a must try stop if in the area!

We had the most fabulous dinner here. Highly recommend Richard's Fish. Maui, you won't regret it.
We did not stay at the hotel.

The dip for the calamari is delicious and the shrimp tasted fresh and are huge! Staff were delightful, despite arriving 30 mins before they closed after a long drive down from Dallas. The restaurant was very clean. Top notch food and people here, would recommend to anyone looking for good seafood and excellent service.

Dinner was wonderful at Trout Street! My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and left happy and full. Their Long Island iced tea is delicious and the house Chardonnay tastes great. My husband and I each got a cup of gumbo which was flavorful and chock full of sausage and seafood. For our entrees I had the herb crusted steelhead trout which comes with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus while my husband had seafood mac and cheese. Both dishes were outstanding and I loved that our server verified with me that I knew what steelhead trout was and would taste like, since a lot of folks expect to get a mild white fish instead of something along the lines of salmon. Service was quick and the views from the outdoor seating were awesome. This will definitely be a go-to spot for us in the future!
