Our running group visited here after doing the Cowtown half marathon and it was sooo good! We live north of Tulsa and used to have the same Pancho’s here but it shut down several years ago. My husband and I, as well as other family, have made several trips to Fort Worth just to eat here. It’s a real treasure and I hope it sticks around for a long time.
This trip was probably the best one so far. The food was super fresh and delicious, the server we had was extremely attentive and helpful, and we had a great time. The salad bar and dessert bar were stocked with all kinds of goodies, and the sopapillas were amazing as always. We are all wanting to go back already! I can’t wait to raise the flag again!

Hadn't been here in years!!! Came back for the nostalgia. Good is the same as back in the day. Still good. Ruben was very helpful and hardworking 5 stars for him. He made sure my cup was never empty and brought me all sorts of food, including those delicious sopapias.

We drove 600+ miles to try this restaurant. I walked in and it smelled amazing. The rice and tacos are really good. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful. The decor really is an mid 90s-70s take on the old world charm of a quaint Mexican market. Would make the drive again. ⭐

I like this place every thing was was fresh when we hit the door. It took me back in time to being a teenager. The taste-good smells that were brought about.
The colorful combination of foods.
My favorite thing to come here and get are the chili rellenos smothered in nacho cheese sauce and topped off with pico de gallo. Accompanied by guacamole.
The sopapillas accompanied with honey and butter! Yum!

There was a pretty large selection of hot food!
Everything thing tasted great and seemed fresh. The flautas were absolutely amazing. They also bring a basket of chips to the table.
The sopapillas are made fresh to order. Service at the table was quick, even though they were busy. Staff were so friendly!
Small dessert area with a few baked goods, and ice cream was available.
The salsa station had a small but good selection.
This place was also really affordable at $16 per person.
Definitely worth checking out.

Horrible. Everything fried was both greasy, and too burnt to eat at the same time. Rice was hard. Chips were stale. "Salsa" was just canned diced tomatoes in their juice. Server was inattentive.

BUT! That's what we go to Pancho's for! Nostalgia! It was exactly what I wanted 🤷🏼‍♂

If you enjoy quantity over quality, than this is the place for you. This is the only place where fusha, Spanish Inquisition, and bathroom tile can be combined into a cohesive decoration resembling the inside of a 1980s car wash and be called "authentic" with a straight face. Is the worst part of your dining experience that you can only order one entre? Do you require access to every menu item for yourself in a single sitting? Do not fret. Nowhere else can you instantly summon your own personal edlritch servant simply by hoisting a small table flag only to demand MORE FOOD and actually get it. If you ever wondered where all the leftover El Chico TV dinner remains go after you throw them into the trash, this is the nexus at the end of the rift where those sad meals end up. After you've consumed and regurgitated your infinite supply of tacos and enchiladas, you can comfortably suck down the nectar of never ending soppapillias without ever having to leave your 1980s Vince fast food booth. Should happen to decide you want to take a lap between shoveling, you may find you enjoy their plentiful desert and salad bar featuring soft serve ice cream, gummy bears, and plain lettuce without any dressing. If you enjoyed the service be sure to tip your eldritch servant because their wages, like the decor, probably also stuck in the 1980's. Remember, every meal at Panchos Mexican Buffet comes with a free bathroom redecorating to be redeemed exactly 20 seconds sooner than you can possibly reach any bathroom no matter how you time it. - Five Stars

The food was pretty good, kind of Taco Bell quality, but that's to be expected at an all you can eat Mexican buffet, especially for such a low price. We came in an hour before close. The staff was super friendly, and the food was still hot. We're definitely coming back! The salad bar was still stocked, and the icecream machine was still working 30 minutes before close. This is a great restaurant if you're going out to eat with someone that doesn't know exactly what they want. The chicken tacos were amazing! They even have a la carte options if you don't want the buffet food, or aren't super hungry. I saw some reviews saying that the people serving food don't wear gloves, but the lady serving us put on gloves whenever she had to touch food with her hands (like, making tacos), and then she'd take them off and get a new pair when she had to touch something else. I'm allergic to Avocado, so I was a bit worried about the guac they had, but there didn't appear to be any food contamination. Every item had its own serving utensil, and I appreciated her swapping gloves between items.

The food is really good here, I remember a time years ago when it wasn't as good. But now they are doing something right!! The taste reminds me of when I use to come here on Friday nights (dad's payday) as a kid... the customer service was really good too. Definitely will be coming back!

Good old Panchos, a Fort Worth tradition. A nice atmosphere reminiscent of Old Mexico. Food is average but certain dishes are always nice, like the rellenos. In my 20+ years coming here I've never had bad service either. Some people complain about the price but this isn't 1990 any more, EVERYWHERE is expensive and Panchos isn't really that much by comparison.

This place has always been a great, super clean place to have lunch or dinner. I've been coming to this location since a child with my parents back in the 80's to now. You can't go wrong with Pancho's folks so go down there and take your family as well and enjoy! They still have a huge variety of delicious Mexican food including all the favorites we all have loved for so many years! And if you want more just raise the flag at your table and an awesome, friendly smiling staff member will get you all fixed up again. Got to love that!

This trip was more about the nostalgia and sopapillas than anything. I used to go with my family when I was little and I always wanted the jello and pudding that was all fancy in the big hurricane glass, they don't do that anymore. What they do still have is amazing sopapillas ans the best honey ever. Strawberry jello in a little cup, free ice cream, taquitos and decent beef enchiladas. And this time I wasn't fighting my little brother over sopapillas, I was sitting across from the most beautiful man in the world who was perfectly happy seeing me get to relive a memory.

Love Panchos. So bummed most were closed down. People saying it’s bland and not e only lol it for nostalgia lol. What do you think Menudo is or hamburger helper for us white folk ??? It’s comfort food. An acquired taste. Not that it’s really good. Panchos is good though. No it’s not fancy dining or even the best Mexican food but it is good.
