"At 'From Across the Pond' in Colleyville, TX, the Fish & Chips and Scotch Eggs are standout dishes. The Fish & Chips, known for their crispy batter and perfectly cooked fish, paired with hearty chips, make for a classic British experience. The Scotch Eggs, with their flavorful sausage wrapping and soft-boiled egg center, offer a delicious taste of traditional British cuisine. These dishes reflect the pub's commitment to authentic, high-quality fare, making it a must-visit for anyone craving genuine British flavors."

So good! We had such a nice time and good food here. Our server Kayla was so attentive and sweet. Everything we had was wonderful! The breading on the fish and chips was so good! The sausge roll was so delicious! Take the time, and enjoy!! There were many gluten free options too, almost forget!

This was our 1st time coming to this place and it was a good experience. Some of the items are an acquired taste but doesn't mean it's bad food so I'm not gonna judge by that.
We ordered the "Steak and Ale Pie", The "Shepards Pie", "Scotcheggs" (both regular and spicy, the "Rarebit" appetizer, and the "Blackberry Cheesecake".
We enjoyed everything. As I said before however some things are an acquired taste cause even though the Scotch eggs werent horrible neither of us could do the texture of the egg. I did have to pick out all the mushrooms of my Steak and Ale Pie; I didn't remember seeing that ingredient on the menu but it was easy to remove.
The service was very friendly. There was delays in getting drink refills but there seemed to be only 1 person serving tables so we just let her know when we needed refills.
All the food appeared to be made upon ordering cause it does take a few minutes for the food to come out; Which was fantastic!
I have to say my favorite dish was the Rarebit (spelling?). It's beer-cheese, bacon, and graded cheese an either toast or thick cut French fries. We got it on fries and it's a dangerous item cause it's so delicious!!! The beer-cheese didn't overpower it.
It recommend trying this place out.
They have lots of gluten free options.

Came in during lunch on Tuesday afternoon. I forget our servers name, unfortunately but she was fantastic!

Started with the beer battered onion rings and they were a great start.

My girlfriend got bangers and mash and I got the steak and ale pie, both dishes were HUGE portions and everything was hot, delicious and flavorful.

Finished up with two orders of sticky toffee pudding which was phenomenal.

Atmosphere us very cozy and quaint with all the vibes of a tiny pub.

10/10 will be coming back.

Such a cute place! Fun atmosphere, great food! Friendly service. The Scotch Eggs are excellent. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Fun date night.

Fantastic food. The atmosphere here was fun and laid back, kind waitresses, good menu. I was really excited that they had Holidaily Red Ale this season! I enjoyed all of it, though the highlight for me was the Scotch Eggs (not pictured because they got eaten too fast). Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Love this place! The small dining area is perfect for couples, but families were accommodated, as well. We came for the fish and chips, which were excellent! Traditionally battered, served with tender wedge fries. The tartar sauce was good, and the fresh lemon and malt vinegar put us in heaven. We had the cole slaw side. Creamy, but not drenched, with a fresh crunch. If you feel truly British, try the mushy peas. We had the beer battered mushrooms for an delicious appetizer, made even better by jalapeño ranch dressing. All with an Ale from the bar, the meal was perfect. Before you leave, however, treat yourself to the cheesecake with blackberry sauce.... Yum!
We will be back.

We came here because of the Restaurant Impossible TV show by Robert Irvine. The interior was really nice, the salt and pepper bottle were really cute.
We ordered Scotch Eggs, Fish and chips, and Shepherd pie. Everything was made fresh. Scotch egg was really good, fries were fresh cut, shepherd pie was probably the best. Highly recommend this place.

If you are gluten free go here immediately! Almost everything on the menu is GF including the onion rings, scotch eggs, fish and chips, and sticky toffee pudding! It was all delicious, including the mushy peas which was like eating a delicious savory cloud.

Wonderful service and the food is very good. The Fish and Chips with mushy peas were very good, served with malt vinegar as it should be. The Shepherd's Pie was very flavorful. For a sweet treat we tried the bread pudding. It was very good. Very happy with this location and meal.

I came because it is a low-key gluten free restaurant. Now that i am actually eating the fish & chips i realize this place is a must visit before you die. Actually this should be auto-added to every bucket list. In fact I'm considering relocating my family to whatever the heck town this is just for the food in the restaurant!

Knowing it's a British restaurant and I wanted something spicy, I was skeptical at first. They blew my expectations, from the excellent waiters to the vibe the background music created, a lovely ambiance, and of course the fish and chips.

I actually visited again 😋

Delicious food and lovely atmosphere! We brought the family out for a nice lunch on the patio today. The gated patio was perfect for keeping the kids safe. We had burgers and fish and chips there and a Shepherd’s pie to-go. Jamie, our waitress, was great! This was our first time checking out the new location, and as someone with a gluten allergy, I’m so thankful they are still in business.

Small British restaurant (not really a pub) that really delivers. Came to try something new for Father's Day.the staff was friendly and nice. They had a couple UK beers on draft, and it was nice to enjoy that to stay on theme.
The menu isn't very large, which is nice since they seem to be able to focus on what they do offer and execute on it well.
The beer batter fish & chips is tasty. The batter isn't greasy and the fish is nice and flaky. Not mushy or tough.
We had the Sheppard's pie chips which is a funny twist on the classic. It's the normal filling scooped on a basket of fries (chips).
The Meat and Ale pie was great. Savory and stewed to perfection. The beef chunks were tender and the gravy was a good consistency to blend with the mashed potatoes.
Both young kids tried it and loved it.
One kid got the little Ben hamburger and it didn't last.
I'm sad this place isn't closer to me as it looks set up to show football (soccer) games regularly with 2 projectors/screens. Seem like a good place to watch a match.

Decided to try this restaurant because it was close by and the patio was dog friendly. I was not disappointed. The service was great and very friendly. As for the food it was unbelievably delicious. Had the beef stew with mash potatoes in it. It was plate licking good. For dessert had the rhubarb crumble cheese cake. It was absolutely delicious. All I can say is You have got to eat here.

Fantastic all around! Wonderful service from Anna, flavorful food, and great atmosphere with the right music and decor. We drove 4hr from Houston and this was the perfect place to stop for lunch. Would gladly come back. Please try this local gem. Great for folks with celiac and gluten sensitivity, no symptoms after trying plenty of options.

We enjoy small spots like From Across the Pond. Scotch eggs were delicious along with our other foods. Potatoes are a base to many dishes so next time I'll try the brussel sprouts to balance our meal.

We lived in the UK for four years and desperately miss some of the fantastic comfort foods. Across The Pond delivers, y’all! To make the experience even better, the majority of the menu is gluten free, which for folks with intolerances or celiac (like me) is a gift. We can go out to eat! Yay!

The food was wonderful, the service prompt and friendly, and the GF beer choices were so much better than most places! We drove 45 minutes to get there and it was totally worth it. Aye, we’ll be back!

We had an amazing meal! We are celiac so getting to indulge like this was amazing! So much fun, and such a wonderful place. We had shepherds pie chips and brussel sprouts to start. Fish and chips and chicken Tikka for entrees. Finished it off with toffee sticky bread and Reese's pb pie! And they have a great selection of holiddaily beers which are all gf as well. Can't go wrong eating here as they take care of you also! Enjoy!
