El Paisa Cocina Mexicana

Typically when I see an “authentic” Mexican restaurant that looks like it’s a part of some fast food chain red flags go flying everywhere in my mind, but that is not the case for El Paisa. This place makes some bomb sopes, and their chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce hits the spot every time. The service is exceptional, and the convenience of the drive through is great.
I only wish they’d bring back the tostadas!!!

I spent alot of time in Laredo and have had a good sample size of authentic Texican. This place is legit and the value is even better. The amount of food you get is astonishing.

But more importantly, very close to the traditional flavors you will find in the Northern Mexico territory.

I’ve Eaten here many times and every time is delicious. I order the chicken street tacos with French fries. I have ordered the beef torta as well. It’s my favorite taco joint and they have a drive through!!

This was by far the best quesadilla I've ever had. Ever. The beans, rice and fajita fixings were all amazing.

I've never heard of lettuce on a quesadilla but I just ordered it without. Perfect visit.

Hum, what can I say 🤔 ? In reality all I can say is that every time I go there with my daughter, the food is excellent and so is the service. El paisa on Beach st is where it's at, they are always super friendly and attentive (they should get a raise, everybody there should) been going there since 2012 and El Paisa has always been good to me.

The food is actual mexican food!! None of that want to be mexican food. The tacos are great the tortas are big and their service is amazing and fast!! You should also try the pozole its delicious

This food is tasty, the restaurant has always been impeccably clean when I've been there, and the staff is pleasant.

The flautas are probably my favorite, but the tacos, sopes, and burritos are delicious as well!

Continually improving! ... Good flavor and always fresh!

WOW, the quesadilla was FIRE!! I don't know what they did to that tortilla to make it soft yet crispy, but damn!! I was blown away, will definitely be coming by here again and I live on thr other side of town!

My husband and I both barbacoa tacos at El Paisa. We have been eating at El Paisa for 6-7 years now. They have the best street tacos around, hands down.

Hasn't changed food was great cashier was great she's been there for years will always come back
