La Pradera Mexican Restaurant

Building doesn't do it justice! Food exceeded expectations. Big portions, great seasoning, fair price. They have daily drink specials. Super nice and attentive staff. Outside appearance of restaurant could use a makeover; weren't sure if it was open, looks worn down. Inside is cute, but could also use updating.

We were visiting from Las Vegas, and our host, Dr. Taylor from Taylor Made Smiles of Texas in Wills Point, recommended this as a great spot for good Mexican food. We were not disappointed. Fantastic service and great food!

You wouldn't think in passing that this place in this small town would be so good, but LISTEN. I pass by it quite often and was starving so decided to give it a try. I had the chips and salsa (and you can tell a good Mexican spot by the salsa), i had two bowls, and then some enchiladas with their sour cream sauce, which easily riveled my fave spot in Dallas, and some kind of frozen drink with banana and coconut and it was also very good. I will DEFINITELY be going back, and I don't understand why this place isn't packed. Oh and that FROG DIP is something SERIOUS.

Our food was hot and fresh. Large portions and a steal at the Lunch price. We went around 1 p.m. Our meals were delicious. Cheese enchilada with chili sauce was my favorite. On the chicken enchilada the meat was a little dry but they gave me ample sauce and it was very tasty. I love their salsa and chips. My only regret was not ordering a sopapilla for dessert! Would definitely recommended.

We ate dinner here and it was quite good! The food was flavorful and well cooked. The waiter was a nice young man who was very tentative and polite. Restrooms were clean.

Always fast and correct orders...for some reason the challenge is to keep my tea glass full.

The chicken fajita quesadilla and enchiladas were very delicious ! We were surprised to see a drive through window.. had no idea but tried it and we weren't disappointed. They even gave us free chips and salsa. We will definitely be returning. Outside of building needs work and got confusing as to if the 2nd window was being used, so I gave it 4 stars.

WOW! Talk about a 180° turn around, my wife and I gave La pradera 3 chances, on the 3rd visit in total of a 2 year span . Now the food is awesome and one of our favorite places to eat! Great food and service

We have been going to La Pradera for years! The service has always been good. The prices are reasonable and with the inflation I haven't seen them go up. My husband usually sticks with fajitas or enchiladas. I have tried a lot of different things and it's all been good.

food was amazing!! waitresses was beyond beautiful absolutely loved her attitude her red hair on the other hand…. looks like the girl could use some rehab but i absolutely loveeeee her 10/10 would ask for her again i loved that little spunk of energy

Friendly fast service... Great food. Had the carne guisado plate was great! Waitress was very attentive always checking our drinks and if we needed anything at the right time!

We ordered takeout on 1/25/18. It was SUPERB! The servings were small, but it was delicious! The meals were beef enchiladas and spinach enchiladas. Great job, y'all! Ease up on the servings, y'all -- we are MEXICANS! WE CAN EAT! God bless.

We love going to this restaurant when we're in town. The food is really good, the fajitas are awesome. Everything is always clean and the staff are so nice. If you ever get close to Wills Point I would recommend it!

Very good food and drinks, excellent service and it wasn't busy at the time of our visit so that was a bonus!

I meet my bestie here for the catfish. Always fresh and cooked to perfection. Their drinks are good. The service is friendly. Casual atmosphere. Would recommend the catfish FO SHO!

On a trip to East Texas a while ago wife and I stopped in. Chips were pretty good. Hot sauce needed some help. Had chickentacos al carbon. Kinda like fajitas but they wrap the meat in tortillas before serving. It was really pretty good. Not the best but worth the money. They have a small bar and a drive thru. Just a quick little Mexican food joint on the side of the road.

Was passing by and saw the drive thru. We turned around and went back. The food was awesome. We ended up having to go that way again the next day and made sure we stopped again.
