Stefanos Greek Eatery

2nd time we've been here. I had the seafood daily special today. Piece of fried cod, 3 or 4 jumbo shrimp, octopus bites, a whole stuffed crab battered and fried, gumbo, coleslaw, hushpuppies, and fries. The batter was so delicious you don't need any sauce. They have complimentary wine. Last time i had the fried fish special two big fillets, fries, hush puupies, and slaw. Highly highly recommend. Decor is full of greek pictures and knick nacks. Cafe is in a former gas station, so it's really cozy inside. My friend had the traditional greek salad both times. First time with chicken Falafel meat and this time with Gyro meat. They serve pita slices with olive oil as a pre dinner snack.

My wife and I absolutely love their food. Between the food, desert, and the excellent service we can’t help but keep coming back.

The oil dip is simple but outstanding. Tomato Basil Soup was a 10/10, cannot wait to have it again!

Greek fries are seasoned perfectly, and the gyros, authentic and delicious to say the least.

Love the fact that they’re so close to home, now we can only wish they stay in business for a very long time!

Amazing gyros( some of the best Greek I have had in a while)! Staff was so friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back. They even sell the seasoning they put on there Greek fries which is phenomenal!

The wife and I stumbled on Stefanos yesterday and were overjoyed! The food was awesome and the desserts even better. This small little outpost of Greek food in East Texas is such a welcome respite from chicken tenders and beef cutlets! We will be back and often! Thank you John for the wonderful time and coming out to visit with us.

I was a little skittish with a Greek place in Emory, Texas but it turns out these guys know what they're doing! Very surprised with the quality and care put into the food. They make everything in house except for the pita bread, which was still tasty. Tried a few of their hummus samples, and I really enjoyed the spicy one, and the white bean hummus was awesome too. We all had different versions of their gyros and all were delicious. I also left with 2 desserts, balaclava and galaktoboureko, both of which were amazing. The chef and waitress were both super awesome and friendly. Highly recommend

Had the special today and it was the most delicious thing I have ever ate in my life. Would give 6 stars. Plus customer service is excellent! So sweet and welcoming!

Food is DELICIOUS. Sat outside, it was a beautiful day. Bought the chicken shawarma and gyro & fry lunch special. Greek fries are delicious .. I'm glad I stopped by !

For a small out of the way restaurant they were very busy.. we ate in and had an hour wait for our food. We just happened to come during a super busy time. All worth the wait. My mouth was saying yummy! The dolmas, garlic slaw, Greek salad, chicken schwarmo, Greek platter and baklava were all delicious. I highly recommend this place.

This place is a jewel! So happy to have such a great place close to home.

The food is amazing and the staff is attentive and friendly. It’s a small place with indoor and outdoor seating and lots of great menu options. The gyro’s are awesome and the Martin House beer is quickly becoming one of my favorites!

The owners are super nice and always come out to visit with the customers when they’re not busy cooking.

This place is amazing! We drove 1hr 45min to eat here and it was definitely worth it. Super friendly staff, and the owner came and spoke with us. Great little restaurant.

We had an excellent lunch at Stafanos Greek Kouzina. The staff was very gracious and friendly, and the gyros were easily the best we’ve ever eaten. It’s a smaller restaurant which makes it feel more comfortable and personable, and the music and decor was spot on. We’ll definitely be back to try some other dishes.

Fantastic and delicious food! Staff is incredibly nice and attentive, and the place is super cute. I had the Greek salad with gyro, my husband and oldest kid the chicken shawarma and my youngest the kid's meal (a deconstructed chicken souvlaki with rice), and it was all delicious. They also have great greek desserts, including traditional greek cookies, baklava and a very tasty baklava cheesecake, a must try. Seems lots of people take meals to go, including desserts!
When it comes to the place, the restaurant is very small, maybe 10 tables inside and about 5 or 6 picnic style tables outside with a counter area as well, but very nicely decorated. The tables are covered with pictures of Greece, I have never seen anything like it, it's so original and well done, I love it! It really adds to the experience. Highly recommended place for a laid back, quality greek food meal!

Great place cozy the staff is absolutely fantastic so friendly and courteous. The Lamb chop fantastic the Gyros fantastic the desserts divine the Blaklava and the rum cake whoa out of this world.
Definitely will be back...

The lamb chops were amazing! Cooked medium rare like lamb needs to be and it was so good! Cute place super nice people and tasty food, I'll be back alot!

My mom and I come to visit about once a month here at Stefanos for a treat to get gyros. My mom introduced me to Greek food at this restaurant and I’m in love with it! The customer service is ALWAYS WONDERFUL! Jennifer remembers what we like to order each time. Thank you for your service!!

The food is FANTASTIC (& the owner & employees are VERY nice)❣❣❣🥗🥙🍤🥒🍅😁👍🏼👍🏼 The prices are reasonable, too, ranging up to about $17.99. If you have to sit outside, there are fans blowing on you the entire time to help cool you off.

Our first visit to Stefanos. In Emory, Texas.
Quite small and homey. Quite a few entrees along with several varieties of gyros.
Very neat and attractive inside. Some outdoor tables, too. Owner was very sociable and friendly.
Stefanos is also a Greek bakery. We brought home several treats for later.
We'll be back for other menu items.

We just had the most amazing meal at Stefanos! This intimate, boutique eatery serves some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. Atmosphere, cleanliness and service is exceptional. I came all the way from Fort Worth to eat and I’m surly glad I did. I’ll return soon to try something else. Thank you again!

The best hidden gem in East, Tx. Good clean eating with outstanding service. The lamp Lollipops were amazing!

Have been wanting to try this place for awhile. Came in and the menu is fantastic.. ordered the Greek fries.. delicious. Will be back to order off the main menu soon. The table next to us got a few course's and it looked amazing 😍.
