My first time dining here. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the service was very fast. I ordered a cucumber salad, the stuffed mushroom appetizer, and the California roll. The cucumber salad came with shredded crab mixed in, and the dressing tangy sweet but with a little spicy kick on the back end. If you order the stuffed mushroom appetizer, I recommend sharing it with others as it is a good sized appetizer. This place has relaxing interior decor, so I never felt rushed to dine and run. Please come visit Ahoyama and enjoy their sushi art!

Delicious little spot we found!! We tried the Hawaiian Roll (SO GOOD, ponzu was delicious), Salmon Skin, Crispy Rice with spicy tuna, and some nigiri. The nigiri was absolutely amazing. We tried the spicy scallop, peppercorn tuna, mackerel, and freshwater eel. Atmosphere was cute, a darker ambiance, which I loved. Server was attentive and didn’t forget our extra sauces which was a nice touch as always.

We love Ahoyama Sushi in Hurst. They have the freshest fish and friendliest service, tempura is always consistent.
My wife and I always laugh when visiting other sushi places, comparing it to our favorite.

Solid spot for some sushi and Japanese food near Colleyville. Modest interior designs and friendly workers. Modest and not ostentatious.

Been going here weekly for years. Best sushi around never had a bad experience. They do get extremely busy sometimes but food is always fresh.

The sushi here is amazing and the staff is incredible! Kim is a riot! I have *never* had a bad sushi roll here.
I only wish they stayed open later because oftentimes I go with my friends when they get off work.

Classic Japanese sushi restaurant with excellent flavor and freshness. I just returned from Japan and this lovely place took me right back there. The atmosphere was just like you'd find in the old country. Even the sencha green tea was perfectly brewed.

Whenever we want some sushi, we go here for a takeaway. Normally we get between two or three rolls for the two of us. The ingredients are super fresh and very tasty, with a super friendly service.

I loved everything I had here. I'm not a salad person (especially iceberg), but this salad was amazing and so was everything else. Highly recommend!

I just started working in this area and really enjoy this place. I look forward to trying more of the menu. The bento box gives you plenty. The takoyaki was really good, and the sushi was oishii. I like the atmosphere and the staff is friendly and attentive.

Everything is fresh. Even the crab salad California roll is made with real crab, not imitation. Lunch is a bargain here. Ordered the sushi and sashimi bento which also includes miso soup and salad, served generously and almost a lunch on its own.

We started with the stuffed mushrooms. Awesome! I had the teriyaki chicken bento box. Really Good! And so much food. My wife had the shrimp and veggie tempura. After the appetizer, salad, miso soup she had to take half of it to go. Excellent service!!!

Is the most amazing place. I was working down the street for 2 months. Found this place. They are super great and hospitable and food is super super great!

This is great place to take the family. Everything was fantastic. I don't normally like salads but I loved their house salad. Place was clean, service was fast and friendly, and they had the Guardians of the Galaxy playlist going.

This place was amazing. The atmosphere was fantastic, the sushi was great, and you get a little orange at the end. On Tuesday they have $1 saki bottles. Would definitely recommend.

Great sushi, great prices, and great service at this modest restaurant. Get tasty traditional sushi, but don't miss out on their many riceless rolls. And the super tasty house salad dressing!! I'll die figuring out how they make it.
