Soulman's Bar-B-Que

Went here for the first time last weekend. We've struggled finding BBQ that isn't overly expensive but still good and well, we found it. I loved the fried cabbage. Definitely has a kick to it and the ribs were fantastic. Not fancy at all and we like that. We'll be back for sure.

We were one of two people dining in this visit. Hands down the best barbecue in town! And can we talk about that cream corn?! Wow! Amazing amazing amazing and then more amazing! The worker working the late lunch shift was extremely patient with us while we took time to figure out what we wanted, he was very helpful in suggestions and input and I can honestly say this was the absolute hands down best late lunch I’ve had in years! Can’t say enough good about Soulman’s!!!! Must eat!

The staff is amazing and the food is tasty. This Soulman's won 1st place in our annual rib off. I eat here all the time and I can not get enough of the banana pudding :). The ribs are smacking good, and the brisket is always on point. I am so glad to have this BBQ in my favorite places to eat.

Hello all, today hubby and I ventured to Hurst Texas today and came across Soulman's Barbecue. Whew! First of all the customer service is off the roof! I felt like I was at a family reunion function. We both tried the 3 meat combos featuring ribs, turkey, hot hot links, and brisket and they were ALL GOOD 👍! The sides (baked potato-counts as 2 sides), pinto beans, and cabbage were delicious too! I swear somebody's grandma made the cabbage it was so tasty 😋. I also got a slice of Buttermilk Chess Pie which I am saving for later tonight as a treat! We will definitely be back to this establishment and if you haven't tried them, you should go and try their delicious food. They also give seniors a senior citizen's discount. Please check them out. Good food, Great service, restaurant was a little cool (heat wasn't on) but it was tolerable.

The guy let us try a sample of sausage and the people were so friendly asking us about our preferences. And there’s free ice cream when you get BBQ. Everything was so good, definitely recommend!!!!

OMG!!! It was the 1st time eating here and we loved it. The gentleman greeted us as soon as we walked in. The food was amazing. There sweet tea mmmm couldn't get enough, then you get free ice cream. They have a little bar with sides for your BBQ. WE went into a food coma. We will definitely be going here more often. 🤤🐷

First timers, and it was GREAT!! We order 2 different plates and a bowl. A bar b que bowl. Lol. We will return.

First time trying their bbq. Great tasting food. I tried the lean brisket. It was delicious. We will be back many times.
All the sides were tasty, as well.

I ordered and had mine delivered. But I had to get on and leave this review! I'm 53, and have eaten a LOT of BBQ, in my lifetime...in several different States. I've had some really great BBQ. But NOTHING, NO WHERE, can even come close to Soulman's! That chopped brisket doesn't need sauce. It melts in your mouth! But add some of their spicy BBQ sauce? Just on a whole other level! And their fried okra? Not even my Grandmother's came close! I didn't try it, tonight, but my friend told me their pulled pork is the very best!
Their portions were big enough that I've got 2 more meals to go, to finish it all!
I simply cannot recommend, enough!!!

What can I say, 5 start all around for the food and service from the whole team. The food is always hot, fresh and mouth-watering, especially with the bbq sauce. My go to spot for the double barrel baked potato. The manager even took care of me after I accidentally dropped my mines after I got home. Definitely recommend coming here for all your Bar-B-Que needs.

Driving through and would have missed out if I would have listened to the reviews!! The food was AMAZING. Had the pulled pork, ribs, chicken, sausage, potato salad, ranchers beans, Cabbage and okra along with the Double Barrel potato with brisket. Basically a Lil bit of all of it!! Staff were friendly and it was very clean. Only thing I'd change is cook okra and fries to order. .don't worry we will wait for it!! Will mark this as a regular road trip spot!!

The food is always excellent. Dining room is always clean and employees are very friendly. I only wish Soulmans would add a tip option at the point of sale. Those folks work hard preparing food, keeping the restaurant clean, I would love to see you add this option at the register. Salute.

Staff is friendly! They gave a good amount of meat. The sides, condiments and drinks are all self serve. The desserts are good. I was very surprised how good the food was! If you like BBQ you will love this place.

Maybe I should have took the picture before eating. I had two meat and a fully loaded baked potato. With sweet tea. Everything was so good and the worker was very friendly. Two TV with the game showing and the environment was very clean. First time here and will come back thank you for such a great experience with many choices to choose from.

I have always enjoyed dining at Soulman's. It's a little out of my way, but whenever I am close I will always stop by. The food is always good and you get it a good serving of what you ordered.

Good staff, high energy! Ordered and they got me in and out. Fries very good, country style cooked!
