Moonie’s Burger House Leander

Happy to see the location has found a new home. I always enjoy moonies, always have I am however on the fence about a sit down and serve location. The Menus are limited compared to what they used to have, but it might just be due to just opening. This is an old Mexican food location and not much has changed as far as appearance. The food however is excellent as always. The burgers never disappoint and their fries are always a delight, crispy and hot. The Chilli cheese fries were a little disappointing as the switched to nacho cheese 🧀 as opposed to the classic shredded cheddar they used to top it with. The chicken Salad was excellent, fresh and tangy with the dressing. The gluten free bun and veggie burger were also really delicious. All in all it was a great experience, a little more expensive than previously but that's inflation for ya, the decor is very sparse and it still feels like a Mexican restaurant, the parking entry is tricky turn down the street and pull in unless you have a truck it's a curb not a driveway in the front. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and willing to help in anyway they can. 4.6⭐ overall.

We had 2 nights in a row of Moonies. Great food and service. My granddaughter, Ember, was working in the kitchen, so we had to visit her as much as possible. Coming from Michigan, and if we're ever in Texas again, we'll be sure to drop in!

I love this place. I used to live near the one on Anderson Mill Road. Now I live near the one in Leander. Their Bahn mi burger is amazing!!! I would have taken a photo, but I devoured the burger in no time at all!

Nice quiet place with some really great burgers! Fried pickles and onion rings were awesome and my Diablo burger was super spicy! Nice friendly place, will be back!

Wife had the Bahn Me without jalapeños I had a Philly cheesesteak on a hoagie bun. Both were terrific.

Here in Leander things close really early. We showed up 15 minutes to close and were going to order to go but the gentleman insisted that we sit. Ao we sat and ordered drinks, an appetizer by recommendation of the host, and our burgers. The food came out super fast and fresh and the experience was awesome. They were Cleaning and shutting down, which to be honest, o felt bad about keeping them late but we ate quickly and were out super fast. They were all very nice and the food was awesome as always.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Great spot for beer mixed Drinks and burger. I ordered to go this time, I Sat down at the Bar, by the way the Bartender is AWESOME, I drank a Long Island it was great. Please go check it out.

First time eating here and we didn't regret it. Staff is very knowledgeable about the food and were able to recommend us something to eat.

OMG!!! If the Virgin Mary herself was making burgers for all the angels and saints, this is what it would taste like. The BEST burger over ever had. The service is great. The atmosphere is awesome. come here or die without experiencing true burger goodness!!!

Loved their burgers 😀. Tried the el Diablo lamb burger and it’s the best lamb burger I ever had .

First time at the new Leander location. It's different from the old Cedar Park location in that we had a server rather than ordering at the counter. The food was as wonderful as always and the service was excellent. I missed the coconut tea, though, and I hope it makes a comeback.

Went for a relaxing dinner with my best friend, my wife. The burger were fantastic. The onion rings were a little dry and cold.

The server was very attentive and polite.

I learned later that Moonie's had a veteran's discount. If yes, I appreciate that a lot.
I only wish I had known about the discount when I visited.
