Comanche Trail West Park

I wanted a park with a good trail and I’m glad I found this place! Beautiful park. Feels like you’re in a forest at times. Paved trail was easy to walk and secluded (yet less than 1/2 a mile from the interstate!). Playground for kids was nice and clean as well as a covered picnic area that was too. Beautiful park and exactly what I was looking for!

My husband and I love to take our son out for adventures and this is one place we usually end up and enjoy. Every time I go in there I see me as a child climbing all the trees exploring in the jungle. Am so happy it still stand now my son will one day have great memories to share about the historical place in Odessa Texas.

The park is about 3.4 miles round trip (from the parking lot around the Duck pond and back) lots of people walking their dogs on a leash, families riding bikes, picnics, disc golf, and kites. The trail has lots of shade as well. I did not see restrooms but I didn’t go searching for one either. We didn’t need one. There are lots of trash cans located through the trail. It was very clean.I do recommend this park. We will be coming back!

It's a true green scape from all the oil smell in the air, so green, and overall clean, a little bit overseen without proper tree maintenance, but it's so good for a Walk in the afternoon, or to do some exercise. I love that it has so many shade, you can feel the freshness in the air and hear the rumor of the wind in the leaves.
It's my now favorite place around Odessa.

Nice long stretch to walk every morning. There is some wildlife in the park but like anywhere else be aware of your surroundings

This place never fails me when I need a shady place to take my dog for a walk. It's the perfect distance for a good walk. It typically stays cooler, although if there is no wind it gets pretty muggy.

Private place n quit, only one pavilion, but the bathroom is hard for children or elderly to get to. We want to be able to see our kids go in and out safely. But I do love the quiteness.

Great place to walk, jog, ride your bike and rollerblade, they have disc golf, and they have a fishing pond at the I-20 end and a playground at the County road west end they also have covered picnic areas at both ends,

It's a great park with lots of shade. Perfect for walking, jogging and riding bikes through the trail.

This combines with McKinney park and makes a run through tree area, under highway bridge run and open grass area ( or fall, winter, spring, etc run, walk, ride, disc golf ).

The city needs to do a better job of keeping it clean and mowed. It's a beautiful park if the city keeped up with it!!!

Great quiete peaceful place to enjoy a BBQ while kids play in the Indian inspire playground and go for a walk after eating...

Great place to take the whole family. Good for photography. Even pets love this place!

I'm a sucker for Odessa parks! Best walking/jogging trail in Odessa and my favorite 18 hole disc golf course in town

Did not even realize this park was here, and connected to McKinney! So nice!
