Hidden gem in Taylor! We stopped by for breakfast and the place wasn't busy. The waitress was nice when taking our order and the bathrooms were clean. Food was DELICIOUS! We will definitely be coming back for breakfast again.

I was rather pleased about several items that were part of my very first visit here:

...Unsweet Iced Tea, very nice and refreshing

...Chips And Salsa, Fresh Crunchy Chips and a Salsa that had a freshness and tastiness

...Cheesy Chicken Fried Chicken, my favorite of my meal.... Super Good

...Onion Rings, Top Notch for Freshness and Taste

Had the cheesy chicken fried chicken. All I can say is WOW!!! It was delicious. My son had The cheese enchiladas and he said some of the best enchiladas he's ever had.

Great service great prices and good food the chop steak and mashpotatos are the best and don't forget the fresh made pies 😁 keep up the great work Lucy's Kitchen 😎🤘🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Have been stayin at the hotel next door for a few weeks on and off. This place is great… The chicken fried chicken, cheese enchiladas and the fajitas were surprisingly awesome!

They have beer as well, so it made it a great place to hang out and unwind after work.

Opens at 11 and closes around 8…

First time here the food was above-average the service was outstanding will definitely be coming back. My waitress Maria was amazing so yes a 5-star rating.

Update: had breakfast there this time, of course Maria is a bright constant there, the breakfast is plentiful and at a great value.

Best place to get food, plus service is always great

Chicken fried steak was great. The spicy burger was great also. The cooked cabbage, mac n cheese, and black eye peas were very tasty also . The service was friendly and quick. We also had the apps Chili fries with bacon and fried pickles with ranch. Hubby said 12 stars

Excellent home cooking in a unassuming spot. Don’t let the hotel vibe scare you. This place is the real deal! We brought a bottle of wine and had a great meal. Super friendly staff with fresh, home cooked food

The food is fabulous! Large portions (so come hungry) of delicious southern-style, home cooking. I have dined at Lucy's for many years and have never had a bad meal. (and I'm picky) The staff is very friendly and attentive. The wait time for seating, ordering and getting your meal is minimal even when the place is full. The tea is perfectly brewed and the pies... OMG the pies!!! I've had pie at hundreds of Texas restaurants and Lucy's are the best! So treat yourself to what a restaurant should be. Stop by Lucy's in Taylor or Elgin. Both are equally excellent!!!

I was very impressed. I got there a few minutes after my friends did. The wait staff was quick to take my drink order and my food order. My food came out incorrect and it was lightning fast to be corrected. I would go here again for breakfast.

Food was awesome great customer service the pies are to die for cowboy omelet was delicious 😋 will be back soon.

This little restuarant was a great surprise! Come for the Chickrn Fried Steak, and stay for the homemade desserts!! Excellent service too!

Just found this place today. Some of the best food I’ve had in a really long time. Everything we had was extremely good. My server was Jennifer B and she’s the greatest thing since sliced bread. I can’t wait to go back.

Called ahead and warned them that I was bringing in 18 or so people. Ended up with 23! The staff handled everything with ease. Great food and super efficient and friendly waitstaff. We'll be returning for sure.

This place is great. Food was on point, staff was super attentive as well. I was just remarking how this town needed an old fashioned diner. This place goes beyond that. I highly recommend this place. 10⭐'s

Ford is GREAT! Be patient cause like wver other food service, employees are hard to find. Breakfast is #1. Chicken fried steak is #1
