Jacob and his team did a fantastic job on our roof. The company's mission statement, "People over Profit" really proves to be the way they conduct their business. They worked to meet me at my price target, educated me during the entire process, and were completely transparent through the entire journey. I could not ask for a better experience with such an important asset to my home. Thanks to the A&W team, Jacob, Raela, Juan, and Hannah.

Jacob from A&W roofing was absolutely excellent. He came out when we were looking to install ridge vents into our older roof.

Upon arrival, he found enough damage to warrant a claim for a full new roof. Jacob came out when my insurance rep was on site, and had photos ready and handy in case the company didn’t agree.

Upon approval by the insurance, Jacob provided an estimate, and even worked with the insurance company to correct some errors that cause the insurance estimate to be lower. I felt no pressure on being upsold, and was very comfortable during the entire process.

The company beat their ETA on work start, and finished in 1 day. Job site was kept clean, and a few days after, I still have yet to find any debris from all the work done. I could not recommend them more, and would gladly provide a reference if needed!

I heard about A & W Roofing from a parent (Hannah) whom I provide child care for her daughter. I was hesitate, replacing a roof is a huge expense, I wanted the job done right and did not want to be taken advantage of. David from A & W Roofing put all my fears to rest. He inspected my roof and gutters gave me his honest opinion and answered all my questions. David also went above and beyond meeting with the insurance inspector and used his expertise to advocate for me. David walked me through the entire process from start to finish, times and dates were set and met as promised, the installers were efficient and completed the installation as scheduled, with photos to boot! I appreciate the fact A & W Roofing had their own installers and no middle man. David, Hannah and the rest of the crew really put my mind at ease through the entire process. Amazing service and highly professional! Our new roof and gutters look amazing. After the recent hail storm we were referred to A&W. From our first call to schedule our initial inspection, the experience was beyond our expectations. Additional kudos to Jacob, our sales rep and primary contact. He always kept us in the loop and responded promptly to any questions or concerns. Once we had contact with the insurance adjuster, A&W handled all of the necessary paperwork and interactions. This is my second time working with A&W Roofing after the most recent hail storm. They are very professional and experienced. They helped me through the insurance process and were willing to meet with the adjuster to make sure that they saw all of the damage. The work was completed quickly and the crew was friendly and efficient. A&W continues to prove why they are going to be my roofing company for life!

I chose A&W Roofing as our roofer after a 2021 spring storm in our area largely based on reviews and on their focus on being a local, neighborhood-centric roofing company right here in Georgetown. Our roof required replacement to to hail. They were nice and laid back, didn't cold call or try to rush a sale like several other high-pressure prior roofers did. They didn't try to lure me in with illegal deductible reimbursement offers, and I heard nothing of gimmicky "Good/Better/Best" scenarios with no "only available only if you sign now" deals. They just promised a high-quality roof with a reputable local contractor, which is what was was looking for. They offered to work directly with my insurance company on some estimate adjustments, provided code documentation, dealt with an unresponsive adjuster by going up the supervisor chain, and would follow up with RCV payment requirements to assure I was fully paid. Even as I was skeptical in the beginning due to my dealings with other roofers, they offered to void our contract should I choose to do so. In the end, they conducted themselves in a way that made me feel comfortable going with them, feeling less like a leap of faith and more like a partner in putting us whole. Above all, they wanted us to feel confident in our choice of roofing companies.

I won't lie...we did have some unfortunate issues with the roofing crew, including rushed work in rain, consequential damages, unprofessionalism, etc., and I presume they were not the "master builders" promised, but rather a subcontracted crew (some competitor's logos and all). But to be honest, I'm pretty sure all roofing crews are like that...you get what shows up (it's in the contract), and in the end it's down to the company that backs it. A&W, as a GAF Master Elite Contractor, was extremely concerned with our satisfaction and worked hard to make everything right. Our underlayment was reinstalled, crew-damaged gutters and drip edge replaced, and a subsequent HVAC visit due to an improperly installed furnace cap was reimbursed. They are very vested in their reputation and worked with an extremely critical me to install a beautiful roof that will last for decades. Our project manager Jo was a stand-up guy who addressed every concern with service in mind, and that's hard to find these days. Several followup on-site visits helped ease the stress of having a new roof installed, and the roof was inspected and walked multiple times to assure everything was done to perfection. Never once was final payment mentioned until they were sure they had fulfilled their end of the deal.

While most of the roofs under our HOA all pretty much look the same, our new roof with GAF Timberline HDZ shingles, Z-Ridge shingles, and Cobra ridge vents (we didn't have them before) stands out just enough, as well as being installed on their FeltBuster synthetic underlayment and Storm Guard ice and water shield, to make me feel it was worth the upgrade. All appear to be backed by an outstanding warranty through GAF and by a company that I believe stands behind their work. I do feel confident in our relationship with A&W Roofing and in our excellent GAF roofing products, and I would not hesitate to use them on future projects.

Hannah was so professional and very helpful through out the process, communicated with me through every thing, had all the answers I asked on the spot. We used them for a roof replacement after hail. They came out, explained things, communicated well, and did a great job on our metal replacement roof. They have many color options and we found one we liked.

If you need any roof work done, I highly recommend A&W Roofing. They are very professional, polite and thorough. Their work is very high quality and they stand behind their work. It is rare to find companies as responsive as A&W and everything was explained so well that I didn’t have any questions left to ask. After the recent hail storm, I can’t say enough good things about David and A&W Roofing. David showed up the next morning after I had holes in my shingles, got it covered up for incoming rain. Great to work with. Replaced the roof in about 6 hours . Great at cleaning the nails etc at the end of the job. Beautiful now that it’s done. Came with a 10 yr warranty. 30 yr Architecture shingles. Great job AW they are the one to use!

David and Wes really took care of me for the 2nd time after a major hail storm. They did everything on time and a quality job. I would not hesitate to call them again if/when needed.

I don't write reviews that often, but David Williams & AW Roofing are the best of the best. After using 2 other roofing contractors, I was fortunate enough to come across David and AW Roofing. He was extremely knowledgeable, dependable, and went out of his way to ensure I was taken care of in handling my difficult roofing situation. Typically dealing with homeowners insurance is a nightmare, but David made it easy, all while making sure I did not spend a penny out of pocket. His crew also did a fantastic job, going above and beyond to even repair subpar work done by previous roofers, as it was just 'the right thing to do", at no extra cost.
