I have been to alot of Mexican chicken spots but this one is set apart from the rest simply because they are the only one to have a peanut salsa that's out right one of the strangest things I ever heard of but don't let that stop you from trying it out , 😁cuz once you do you'll want to take a bowl to fill up and take it all home try it I dare are you

1st time at the one here in Roundlake, usually go to the one in waukegan but they were closed today for remodeling I guess. Wanted chicken so bad we took the trip to this location was afraid it wasn't going to be the same but happy to say their chicken, rice and beans were just as good. Prices were a little more expensive at this location but at that point didn't really care with every penny lol.. 👍👍

Absolutely fantastic place to check out. Their food is great and their drinks reasonably priced! Why go anywhere else?

I'd have to say from el pollo loco fan this is just as good. I've been to the one in Waukegan and fell in love with the rey. But they have become soo busy that the chicken isn't quite as cooked as I would like it to be. Went to the one in Round Lake, and I absolutely love the flavor of the stuff that I got. The flavor is exactly what I was craving... Authentic mexican chicken tacos!!!! Please support this business because Id hate to see it leave...

Loved it got the Saturday birra tacos to die for great and patient staff helped me order and their beans are awesome too can't wait to try something else next time was my first visit

Great Pollo Asada. I go there for the tasty protein for economical price, one of the best restaurants in the northern suburbs of Chicago.

Definitely one of Round Lakes hidden gems! The rice and beans were definite highlights and the burrito was ABSOLUTELY one of the BEST burritos I have had in a long time 😊

I work next store. And for months I've been telling myself to try them. I was NOT disappointed!! Food is amazing! Service was perfect! Nice thing is.it's a three second walk to them! I'm addicted!

Great service, delicious steak meat, fresh ingredients, and big portions. It was my first time so the owners let me try the chicken, it was also delicious. Great place, would definitely come again.

Great chicken and sides, mac and cheese was a bit watery/overcooked macaroni. Loved the frijole. Give them a try as well if your a fan of good chicken.

I live in Woodstock and drive here for the chicken, I'm never disappointed!! Great food, great price, and even better service, the young ladies behind the counter are always on top of your order and any extras needed
