A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort

We stayed in February the weather was very mild to say the least. 50 one day. Friendly staff and a very quiet area. The condo we were in was huge, 4 bedroo.s 3.5 baths. Good showers, kind of a thing for me. Because it was winter nothing on site was open but we knew that. Peaceful get away for my husband and I.

Great resort. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
The Sundance is a fantastic course and a must play!
Antrim Dells is a nice, fun, old school course and the owner/pro was great with our group of 16!
The Torch was our only disappointment. It needs a lot of work and improvements. Target golf, narrow fairways, small greens, lots of irons off par 4 tees, turf conditions were not great when we played. Our group has golfer that range from scratch to 15 hdcps and not a single person in our group of 16 liked it. Only one hole had any view of Torch Lake.
We did not have a chance to play Charlevoix CC.
We stayed in their Condos on the Sundance and they are perfect for big groups. Very nice and well maintained. Comfortable beds and lots of room.
Overall I would highly recommend A-Ga-Ming and our group will probably go back but we'd skip the Torch and try Charlevoix CC. If they could revamp the Torch and have 2 courses on the same level as The Sundance this would be a Top 5 resort in Michigan!

Best public golf course in NW Lower Peninsula of Northern Michigan,... especially the Torch Course. #7 Par 3 has the most scenic view of Torch Lake,... PERIOD!!!

Gorgeous courses & friendly staff. I advise though, if you’re not a very good golfer, try to go when it’s not very busy.
The rooms are nice with a great view of the lake. The on-site restaurant has ok food and the deck there is amazing. We got a stay & play package and it was definitely a good deal.

Played July 2nd with a handful of guys while one guys wife had her baby shower. Played the Torch course and was a nice course and a great test of golf. Pace of play was nice, and didn’t feel rushed in any way. Didn’t play the Sundance this time around, but another great test of golf. I feel the Sundance is the “easier” course, and I only say that because I feel the torch is tighter. I feel it rewards straight shots off the tee and fairways. Sundance you can spray a tad, but you better have your putter working overtime! Great time, great course, great staff. Go see these guys, and have fun!

Played Sundance its a Great course with views of torch lake, the layout reminded me of the French lick, nice range and bunker I will definitely be back

Rented a room for short getaway. I had the single room with two double beds, could use a little refresher. The worst part was in the middle of the night two gentlemen came back to thier room, next door and we could hear everything that they were saying. Perhaps the walls are not properly fixed with sound barrier.
Other than that the place is in the midst beautiful location overlooking Torch Lake.

We played the Torch Course. Some very beautiful views. I'd say that I'm an average to below average golfer and found the course fun! I look forward to playing it again soon! One thing that I noticed is that the course didn't appear to be in sync with my Garmin Golf watch. Some distances were incorrect and missing hazards.

One of my favorite sets of courses in Michigan. I’ve been back more than once, and I’ll be back again the courses are stunning, the condos are well kept and staff is nothing but accommodating. The fairways are beautiful and the greens are tough. I love it here and I’ll be back soon. Can’t wait for some visits in the fall!

Great golf courses, Nice new clubhouse w/good selection of golf apparel, Beautiful views in average lodging. (Views save the lodging) We will return!

Friendly staff and great views. The golf courses are well maintained, the rangers are reasonable and the greens are fast. The condominiums are in excellent condition.

One thing I would like to see added is one or two more courses on site for variety and more capacity for the very busy weekends.

Overall a great experience for the money.

Great experience up here. My favorite was Sundance, I know Torch gets alot of love for some views(#7), #17 on Sundance is incredibles well. Charlevoix country club was a nice gem. Antrim dells was ok. Courses were all in great shape. The staff every where we went was incredibly nice. Keep up the great work guys!

Mike and Larry and Lauren went above and beyond to rectify an unpleasant situation from the previous year’s stay. Their customer service is 6 stars. They know how to treat their clientele in a proper way . And they have 4 great golf courses. We will continue to support them. In fact making plans to return in 2023

Honestly, with all the courses around the area that cost $150 plus to play at, the Torch Lake course at A Ga Ming is right up there when it comes to beauty for half the price. The views were breathtaking and the course was in great shape. Nice challenging track with several holes overlooking Torch Lake. I’ll be back for more!

Accommodations were outstanding. Golf courses were in excellent shape.

Sundance and Torch are both excellent courses. Sundance is my favorite course in Northern Michigan. It is also an amazing value for the price. Highly recommend.

They treated us like kings. The courses were beautiful. Especially the Sundance. That's a must see golf course.

Went on a golf trip with a couple buddies and stayed at the resort. Very nice room and even had a view of Torch Lake. We played Sundance and Torch. Sundance is must play. Beautifully manicured and some scenic views. Torch was not as nice but still fun to play. Torch has much tighter tee shots.

Great range, short game practice area and putting greens. Staff was friendly and fresh hot breakfast was available early before our tee time. We will be back.
